Ashley is very easy to work with here and great response time when things are not just as they should be with the apartment.
Wind Meadow Apartments are nice apartments. Our bathrooms are decent size as well as the bedrooms. With pricing going up I don't think that Wind Meadows should be going up as much as it is, its not worth it to raise rent.
We have lived at Wind Meadows for five years now and can't say enough positive things about it. Ashley is an amazing manager; she listens, puts a real effort into your concerns and gets the job done! It makes such a difference to live somewhere that you know you are being listened to and cared about. Thank you for making our apartment life enjoyable.
Ashley is the most attentive property manager I have ever had. Maintenance is great also. They are always attentive to any of my needs and quick to fix any issues. Property is very clean and well kept. If you are looking to rent, I highly recommend Northern Management and Ashley as a manager.

Office staff is very helpful. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, the office staff manager is very attentive on getting back to me with a time frame for a resolution.
Living at Wind Meadows is truly like owning my own home again, without all the upkeep and maintenance of owning a house. The friendly management and maintenance staff is a huge perk, not to mention the welcoming layout of my apartment!

I love my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. I even have a garage I don't have to pay an extra fee for OR walk a mile to get to it. Pets allowed was a must for me and being on the 1st floor works out perfectly for myself and pups to hang on our patio during the nice days. Ashley is absolutely AMAZING. She's easy to talk to and is very quick to respond. Respectful as well. The maintenance man is great and friendly as well. Anytime something needs to be fixed they're right on it. I've been here about a year and have no plans to move anytime soon. Another plus it's quiet and you don't hear your neighbors. I'd definitely recommend living here.
For starters, this does not really feel like an apartment, it feels like home. There is so much to offer in terms of appliances, space, and comfort. My unit in particular has incredibly high ceilings with tons of natural lighting coming in through the skylights. The noise levels compared to our old apartment living is next to none, just a super quiet, super friendly community. I mentioned space before and there is no shortage of that, we have 2 bedrooms and essentially a 3rd room with a very unique loft space. I use the loft as a man cave/office/game area. So plenty of usable spots there. We also have two bathrooms so my fiance and i no longer juggle over who can use the bathroom which is GREAT! Management has been flexible to make our apartment feel like home and responded to any requests with the appropriate urgency and care. I believe these apartments are considered luxury units and they definitely feel that way. We moved in to our unit with fresh countertops, astounding flooring, and an updated staircase. If you are skeptical or on the fence, i recommend giving Wind Meadows a shot. Speak with the managers and see what they have to say. I wouldn't expect major bending over backwards on certain accommodations but, these people are flexible and gave me a great sense of effort being put forth on their end. We went into this thinking we would try out a 1 year lease and then move on if need be but, now we are looking at possibly staying multiple years if we can work that out :)
Management is wonderful, and extremely helpful when we needed. The apartments are beautiful. Never had any issues at all.
I moved here four years ago. Management and maintenance are always friendly and quick to respond to any requests (Thank you, Ashley). My apartment has a washer/dryer unit, two bedrooms, and two baths (which is great because my son also lives here). The master bedroom is huge and I had no problem creating an office to work from home during the pandemic and appreciate having a garage in addition to a parking space. They are also cat friendly and close to the shopping area? I look forward to being here a while.
The apartments and property are well maintained. When issues arise, the property manager quickly responds and notifies the effected tenants promptly. The maintenance people do an excellent job in fixing stuff when needed in an timely manner. The property manager Ashley is always very nice and very professional. The Apartments like ours are being updated with new flooring, counter tops and appliances. We're so glad that we chosed Wind Meadows to be our new place to call home. My family and I are very pleased with everything here, it's very quite apartment building complex. We Love our fireplace and the loft area in our apartment. The location is excellent its close by to everything around you and the application process was easy to apply. We would highly recommend Wind Meadows for apartment living. Amy Harrison and family
I have never lived in a rental where I did not get all of my deposit back. We cleaned our apartment, just like we have cleaned places in the past, spending at least 15 hours to make sure it was done right. We were shocked to see they sent us a bill for over $1,000 and kept ALL of our deposit! Don’t get swindled and rent somewhere else!
Can't say enough about the caring staff at this apartment complex. I lived at Wind Meadows for 10 yrs. Always were on top of maintenence and any concerns. Overall in the 10 years I was there, I had very few of either. The central heating/ac along with the in- unit laundry were paramount to my stay. Clean and well lit grounds also made for a safe stay too. If there were any negatives I am thinking on writing this review, the units on Scott Street itself can be impacted by traffic noise and people walking from Kwik Trip next door at all all hours and two , units are going on 30 years old. They are wonderfully maintained but they aren't brand new. I had a second floor unit with fireplace and whirlpool tub. Highway 41 along with Target and Walmart are within 1 mile. Cellphone service is excellent along with the Charter Spectrum services available to each unit. Trash and recycling services handled by dumpsters in the back of the parking lot. One car garage with opener is also available. Overall they took care of me I was very happy with my stay.
The apartments themselves are very nice. My roommate and I loved it. It’s spacious. Nice kitchen. Get your own washer and dryer, a jacuzzi, the rent isn’t bank breaking and the neighbors are all really nice. But the management is not so great. At all. They are not friendly to us at all. For example, they reported to the police and left a note for towing on a friend of ours car who stayed the night. Just 1 night. Because they thought his car was in the visitor parking for a whole week and it hasn’t moved. And they never went around the apartment asking who’s vehicle it was. They reported it to the police. Great apartment. Needs new management.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Worst place ever. Here is how they treated me. First - I had 6 complaints of the tenants above me whom were breaking the lease rules. The first time at 3am I am awoken to a loud humming sound which is shaking the walls. Like one of those air compressor things to pump up balls or air mattresses. This went on for an hour. Te other 2 complaints were them slamming around and jumping at all odd hours of the night. Sometimes 1am sometimes 1:30 etc. After the 4th complaint they told me they would call Northern Management and waited for awhile to were my lease was up and needed to sign it. Right after I signed it I was told there was nothing they can do about it (so breaking the lease rules there is nothing you can do?) Weird how they let me know this right after signing. THen they said I could move to an upstairs place. Sorry but I don't have the time nor money to pack everything up, move upstairs, call Best Buy to help me re-set up everything etc. Had 2 more complaints on them after but was told "They are moving in a month". My lease is finally up and after 4 years of always paying rent on time and never having any complaints against me they didn't even have the courtesy to ask what times work best for me to show my place to people while I am still living there. I understand they can do this but they could show some courtesy. So once you pay your last month of rent, they will treat you extremely poorly. Now they are trying to say I owe them money. They marked down "Dirty Blinds" which is like $60 and yeah oh no there is a little dust on them. They are trying to saw the carpets were dirty which falls under the law (even if in the lease) that they cannot do this. Trying to charge for touch up paint which falls under normal wear and tear. 3 days before moving I asked one of their staff where should I put the key and opener and they said "On the counter is fine when you move out". So I did and now they are saying I never turned it in which is another $100 . So beware. I will be taking them to court so I wanted to warn anyone who wants to live here to avoid it at all costs. There is 0 sound proofing so whenever the upstairs neighbors flushes the toilet it sounds like Niagra Falls. Whenever they walk your walls will shake. Whenever they do laundry it is even louder than the toilets. So many better options in Fond du Lac.
When I first saw the apartment, the master bathroom had closed in sliding doors. When I moved in. They removed them. Cause of that and the really low tub surround, water was easily able to splash on floor. With two shower curtains and running exhaust fan and drying floor around toliet Evey shower there started to appear mold around toliet. It happened not even living there more than a week. I called office 4 times. They came and fixed a seal around toliet. Then after ingnoring it. They came and said it's discoloration to tile and it always happens and they throw powder on it. The maintenance guys also entered with know notice a few times. One time with my daughter in living room. And girlfriend in room asleep. Very bad experience there with rude office and maintenance guys. Backyard a swamp when it rains. They never fixed what happened in our bathroom and now charged me for damage tho this problem happen without our control and could have started under tile before we moved in. Much more but I don't? recommend living here. Moved out right away.
Wonderful attentive staff. Clean, spacious apartments homes. A great sense of community with friendly neighbors in the complex. A great value.
Have been living here for only a few months but have friends who have lived at these Apartments for years. No complaints the maintenance staff is diligent and really keeps the buildings in great condition. West side of Fond du Lac puts you just minutes from restaurants and stores. Apartments are very spacious and introductory prices are wonderful for what you get. Really great deal for what you get!
I love my apartment! 2br 2 bath with washer/dryer in unit..dishwasher. Huge master bedroom with walk in closet and own bathroom. Nice patio with beautiful land scaping. Heat is included in rent and on them muggy summer days my central is AMAZING! The best part is I get to share this space with my best friend...my sweet dog Kali!
