Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Windbrooke Apartments.
I’m not quite sure what visit am I being asked of, because I haven’t had a maintenance visit/check in some time now. I’m actually still waiting on my request to be done. My bathroom ceiling fan doesn’t work. I feel slighted due to the fact that I was never really given a chance to do a walk through of the place before moving in. And shame on me for that. But my closet doors are off track. I have a bathroom dome light cover that is totally disgusting and as I mentioned the bathroom fan hasn’t worked since I moved in. And the worse of all. I’ve been fighting against rodents. That angers me

My brother and I have lived here for about a month. We really enjoy living here. The neighbors are nice. We needed a few things done in our apartment and it was done within about 2 weeks of us moving in. We are so happy living here and I would recommend others to live here. The apartments are really clean.

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us!
I moved in a little over a month ago. I love my space, like the area. Staff and maintenance are VERY unorganized. Upon move -in I highly doubt anything was cleaned nor did they check or do a once over to make sure everything was okay for move in. I think it was just used as another model unit. My stove was still unplugged and dishwasher was not functional. I did eventually get a brand new dishwasher. Maintenance (lol) they come when they feel like it. Home, not home, 9am or 9pm. If you need something done you are better off calling customer service. I have been waiting over a week now for maintenance to come fix the brand new blinds he just installed but did not think to check them to make sure they opened and closed properly. not an emergency but if I am told someone will be out the next day I didn't imagine to have to wait a week? The office hours state 11AM open and 6 close. When sending in my information to hold the apartment I received an email back that I'm sure was an error. I sent my info around 5:30pm and her email read "guess I'm going to have to stay past 6." (messy) When picking up keys for move in no one arrived to the office until 12pm. He had nothing ready or together. He didn't even know his password to access my information or anything for that matter. other then the the disorganization....im good.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Windbrooke Apartments!
DO NOT LIVE HERE! This place is awful! Maintenance is refusing to fix my air and its 85 degrees in my apartment. There was also almost an electrical fire in the apartment. There's also a growing reach infestation because management is allowing one of our neighbors to dig in the dumpster, bring the items into the building and store them in the common area. All of this is against his lease, but no one seems to care. The grounds are dirty, the appliances and cabinets are outdated and you have to call maintenance every other week because something breaks. This is a terrible place to live, save yourself the trouble.

I lived in this complex from 2016-2017. The reason why I am writting this review now because I had not clue on how good I had it. Loved this place. Not perfect but never had a single bug in my house, all work order request were taken care in due time. Though I have to say For emergency repair they required me to be in my apartment while every other time they didn't care. The appliances are a bit old but usable and in good working condition. Never had problem with parking and not a single noise complain until right before I left that I got new neightboors that fought all the time and were very scandalous. Anyways, it is a great place for they money. You will not regret living here.

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.
I've lived at Windbrooke for about 8.5 months now. I was reluctant to move in initially as the application process had to be completed twice by me as staff messed up my move in date and then forgot to complete their part of the application accurately as well. I was hoping that this did not set the tone of my new apartment. My apartment is large and rent is not bad at all. Upon moving into my apartment,, there were several things I saw and did not care for but felt it was still manageable and it's super close to my job. Residents can be overheard arguing, talking loudly, and blasting music in the parking lot; I am pretty sure there are other illegal activities occurring in the parking lot as well. Lately, the police presence is heavy, which is concerning. I've also been without hot water several times in my apartment. Management apparently treats hot water as a luxury and it's NOT. It's very apparent it's time to UPGRADE their appliances as I pay a water bill and not having hot water is unacceptable. I've had other small issues occur in my apartment. Most of these repairs were timely but had to be re-reported as it was fixed sloppily. My level of frustration continues to increase and this should not be the case ever. The leasing staff was very nice and helpful once I was moved in. When my lease is up, I will NOT be renewing nor will I recommend others to move into this complex.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit.
The price for the apartments is ok for the area, until they start raising the rent. The maintenance people are rude and make multiple comments about your living space and have gone through our stuff when we're not here. There have been multiple shootings in the area. We've lived here for almost three years and when we gave notice that we were moving, they had our car towed. When we called management, they told us that they hadn't towed our car. When I called the police, they said that management HAD towed our car. When we called them back, they repeated that they hadn't towed our car. We called the impound lot, and they told us, AGAIN, that management had our car towed. When we called management back, they lied again saying that they didn't have it towed. We pay rent by credit card and are on time every month. One day, we receive notice that we missed a payment. When I asked for my credit card receipt, they (AMAZINGLY) couldn't find it. That cost us over $400, for their mistake. In closing, this place sucks. Cheap appliances, broken appliances, and weak rip-off management. DO NO STAY HERE! Trust me! I'm saving you money!

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.
Windbrooke at The Forest is a good deal, price-wise, for the money. The apartments are old but pretty well maintained. The OUTSIDE appearance of these older buildings could be GREATLY improved if the windows were washed/cleaned on a regular basis. I noticed that ALL of the windows in the leasing buildings are ALWAYS sparkling. It would be nice if management did the same for ALL the other buildings in The Forest community. Same goes for the carpeting in each of the buildings. Stains should be treated and cleaned on a regular basis.

Hi, we truly appreciate your honest feedback. We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a more positive experience with us at Windbrooke Apartments.
Finally found a place where I want to live and die! Peaceful surroundings, exceptional staff, timely maintenance, daily security, diverse community of all ages and races, extremely reasonable rent, and so sound-proofed you rarely hear your neighbors or airplanes approaching the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. What more could you ask for? The Windbrooke Apartments - one of five complexes in The Forest - is near a major hospital, county aquatic center, banks, cleaners, nail and hair salons, schools, all kinds of food shops, and good public transportation. I'm not going anywhere... AND I've been here 19 years. Take it from me, living in The Forest really grows on you. Gloreeta G. Glen Burnie, MD
