I've loved living at Windemere for almost 4 years. Great office team, Faith is so pleasant and never too busy to listen and answer any questions. The maintenance team Kevin and Derek are awesome! They're very attentive and quick to respond to any maintenance concerns. Love that Windemere takes such good care of the property, and has nice events for the residents as well. It's been a really nice place to live.

It’s ashamed I have to write this poor review because initially I loved this community. Just as of recent, they tried charging me for damages done and I been there for 6 years and the apartment was slowly falling apart. I would not recommend this unit at all. My car was broken into here along with other previous residents and they were not remorseful to their residents at all. They are in the works of making updates to the units but they also need security along with that based on the recent break ins in November.

First of all I like neighborhood, but this complex has really poor management in terms of maintenance. .my buzzer not working since 9mo and I still couldn't get it fixed. Not only that last time a technician lady came to my apt when my mom at home because toilet had clogged up,so she had shown me the tissues that she cleared out from the toilet on the video call which is unnecessary and disgusting. Very next day they have sent me some paperwork to fill out because I didn't have my mom who had visited me from overseas on the lease! So obviously maintainance technicians they're told to observe everything in the apartment and report to the office which is very irritating. Later on they have replaced the building door and ever since my buzzer never worked. They renew A/C filter ONCE a year. They don't allow me to place anything to my balcony. Building A/C isn't working. Corridor carpets are disgusting they don't replace or clean it. They basically spend 0(zero). My roommate moved out and I'm a primary leaseholder, per their ridiculous lease agreement they have asked new application with fee just to remove his name even though we were 6 months far away from new lease. So overall I'm unsure if my apartment worth the money I'm paying every month.

I’ve been staying here at Windemere apartments for 5 months now. I haven’t had any major appliance complications. Everything has been going good until the 3 months of me living here. Residents hound me about using their laundry room when my set shared building doesn’t have our own. I’ve also had my Catalytic converter stolen off my car. I have had calls from the leasing office demanding me to move my vehicle from a certain area where my car was actually NOT present. Now in the month of December people from the leasing office is demanding me to list the company i keep! This is very uncomfortable and not professional at all.

Overall the apartment is good. I have been a resident for about 1.5 years now and there are many upsides to this complex. The apartments being equipped with central AC & heat is fantastic, utilities are cheap, and fiber internet is offered at an extremely reasonable price. The property is kept up with fantastic maintenance personnel that walk the grounds to keep it clean. They lately have redone concrete and are in the process of updating windows, which is really awesome! Maintenance is great with quick response times and snow removal here is very well organized and done early in the morning. Things were going perfect until two incidents that have now occurred. My vehicle has had catalytic converter theft occur twice now in 6 months on the property overnight. I have parked under the new bright LED streetlights and it has not deterred any theft yet. I have now filed two police reports. A friend of mine also had their catalytic converter stolen on the property here as well. We both have SUV’s. My strongest suggestion would be to improve security with cameras on all of the buildings to monitor the parking lots. The fact that my vehicle has been hit twice from catalytic converter theft on the property in only 6 months is extremely disappointing. I understand living within a 30-45 minute radius of Detroit means anyone is always at risk for theft, but twice in 6 months is a bit much. The complex has many positives and I do enjoy my stay here. However I really hope security can be improved upon.

Windemere apartments is a good apartment to stay in as long as you do not move out of it. Once you move out you are charged for all the damages which you have not done as well. We stayed in the apartment for almost three years and recently moved out. The damages on carpet due to dirty vent as stains are borne on you. Whether you damaged or not, you are expected to pay for the court charges as well. Please restrain yourself from moving to that apartment for low rents, as you end up paying for an extra monthly rent after leaving.

Well, since the length requirements of this thing don't allow me enough space to explain all the bs I experienced at this place, I'll list the bad experiences I had: - could have blown up when moved in; gas line to stove was not connected -water pressure dialed down soon after moving in - couple major maintenance requests not completed-water damage to celing and wall; soil erosion in front of apt causing dirt to be tracked in to apt - attempted eviction because of late rent payment because of known bad Internet connection to building - corporate staff is nasty, rude, and unethical; part of deposit kept for normal wear and tear -front office staff us friendly, but you will soon learn they don't have much power and you may have to deal with the horrible corporate staff I suppose the bottom line here is, stay here at your own risk and CYA!!...take picts before and after. You can't trust these unethical people!!

Worst place to live! The staff are rude, unfriendly and just don't care about you. They raised our rent by 80 dollars within 1 year and was unable to tell us a clear reason why. The apartments are old and need to be remolded. Maitnece does a poor job when it comes to repairs and cut cost as much as possible! Not enough light outside and lack parking, refuse to shovel snow. Sends you letter about everything you are doing wrong in the apartment (left bike on patio for 2 days) but can't send a letter about things that are going on in the area( example:boil water alerts, crime in the area). Worst place to live and will not be renewing my lease next year!

Apartment is good cheap when compared to other apartments but when you vacate they make us pay huge cleaning fees when compared to all other apartments. They want apartment in brand new condition where as they don't understand there might be some very minor damages depending upon the stay they should waive it.

What makes the Windemere Apartments special is the great staff. From the office team to the maintenance staff. The grounds are quiet and beautiful. I wake up everyday and thank God for my beautiful apartment. Windemere is truly about taking excellent care of their residents. Not too many communities can say that. I love to walk, so being close to the various entertainment and parks makes staying at Windermere a plus.

This is one apartment where i saw a very bad maintenance and always very poor response from the management,they never worried about residents ,also this is the apartment where they are operating in a whole different world and they have their own policies which always keep changing based on their comfort. I just recently moved in to this apartment and i am not going to extend my lease.

They never really fix issues in the apartment. Instead they put bandages on the issue year after year. Edward Rose Properties love to keep your deposits when you move out, which is crazy because those are the repairs that they keep putting bandages on. And oh did I mention the bug issue and air blowing in from all windows/patios. They suggest that the residents put up plastic!! and the bug issue just so happen to be roaches now. It was earwigs, ants and bees and things you can't identify, but now they graduated to roaches. The pool is never open and all of the staff in the leasing office lives on the property so of course they are going to say its great to live here. I would think it was great if my rent was $250 too. They increase the rent yearly and the laundry facility is always dirty and they will go up on washers/dryers soon. A complete nightmare. I'm literally itching now, would rather go to a shelter where I can expect midnight breezes while I sleep and bugs living with me as if they pay rent too. Don't do it.

You will love this location if you want to take a leisurely walk in the country beside a white picket fence and visit amazing Chinese and Italian restaurants. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and any maintenance dilemma is resolved immediately and professionally. Carports are heavenly, no scraping in the winter...no oven temps in the summer. Staff host annual pool, Halloween and Christmas parties for the children. I can't imagine living in any other community.
I've lived here for 2 years now and have no major complaints. The few maintenance issues I have had were fixed in a timely matter (heat going out, air not working, broken toilet) and were all common things. The staff has always been friendly when I interact with them. The grounds are kept clean and the grounds crew does a great job. I live in the very back of the complex and it is very quiet. My only complaint is when they do evictions, the yard in front of the building is filled with the items of the evicted unit. This will sometimes sit for a few days. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking. For my first apartment I couldn't have gotten luckier.

Very helpful, professional staff. They keep the grounds clean. All you really have to worry about is your apartment and rent. The rest is taken care of. The maintenance staff quickly responds when you need them to. I would highly recommend windemere apartments to anyone. I've never been happier with my apartment.
