Jeremy has been so nice and welcoming! And Steve was also great on my first day! I got to the apartment really late, but he was there to give me my keys, and he even salted the stairs on the way up to my building so I would t slip while I was moving in!
It has been a wonderful experience, very friendly and very good treatment, I love it. I'm very pleased… Everything is very beautiful and cozy, it is perfect for a couple even for pets, they have a park for them

Some may and some may not renew their lease because of finances or location, etc, I am getting ready to resign my lease because what I want is not out there anywhere and that is a house to rent that I can afford in a certain location because the rental is way over my reach or none out there.

Management is awful, place wasn’t ready on signed date for move in, was never cleaned before I moved in. Maintenance never came to fix anything that needed to be done before move in. Can’t wait until my lease is up, horrible experience that also puts extreme unnecessary stress on residents. If I could give a 0 rating I would.

The office said they would deal with the upstairs neighbors allowing their dogs to use their balcony as a bathroom. They have done nothing and we still have dog urine covering our balcony and now the office ignores us. Completely hazardous and unsafe living environment that the office refuses to handle.

To protect residents, Colorado Landlord-Tenant Law makes it very hard to address behavioral problems with tenants in a timely manner. However, we have confirmed with the property that residents who defy the rules of the lease have been given legal demands to stop their behavior. My wife and i have been living here for a little over a year now and almost everyday/night we're treated to all sorts of loud arguments and doors being slammed. And while loud neighbors could usually be overlooked we spend each night barely able to sleep worried about our vehicles being vandalized or stolen, and No you get no help from from Windmill management as when my wife car was broken into all they told us was there's nothing they can do, Four months later when my own car was broken into i knew the policy here already and saved myself the time and let down of not receiving any help from a place I'm supposed to call home. There is no surveillance of any kind, and no security of any kind. For the price your paying for rent might as well look elsewhere.

I love this place. The staff are nice and very helpful. The maintenance is on any problem you have quickly. The place is quite and the neighbors are nice and respectful. The rent is very reasonable. I have been here a year. And just renewed my lease. I have look at other places but this one if just better because of the management and the maintenance staff.

This apartment is not at all in the best area of town. But hopefully you do that research before you choose any place to live. We chose to look for an apartment in this area because my husband and I needed to be close to our jobs since we only had one car. We were well aware of crime in the area and some of our neighbors doing drugs. That being said, all of the neighbors we interacted with were very pleasant, the maintenance crew worked hard, and the office staff was the best! They were basically the reason we chose Windmill out of the other similar priced apartments in the area. That was almost 4 years ago, and we stayed for a year before we had to move out of state. But in that short time, it really felt like home. The grounds were clean, it had a designated (little) "dog park" and is right next to a nice public park. If you are looking for an apartment in this neighborhood, stop by the office at Windmill and ask the office staff to show you around.

Since the first review was taken down, let's try this again. (Was 1/5 first time) Laundry facility was operational, so that is a positive. More than enough for everyone considering that some of the 2bd had their own. Grounds were generally acceptable. Neighbors were garbage. Most of them were. Drug use was high, and noticeable. But, get what you pay for. Maintenance were good people. Overworked, but good. Crime was what I like to call, "high." Shootings in the area, and it doesn't help that across the street had the same issues. At least in our complex, we saw 2 people get robbed, 2 cars broken into, and what we thought was an assault in the pool area, after office hours.

I have been living here with my wife since March, so not a long time. But the maintenance fix everything the day you call or the next day. There are always good move in specials. They are remodeling the apartments. The view of the mountains is nice during the day and at night. I would recommend to anyone to move in here.
