The property is so beautiful and quiet! I love to walk my dog around the perimeters of the property it feels like a park setting. The office and maintenance staff are always so pleasant and helpful. I’m so glad that I found this property.

I lived here for 5 years. When I signed the initial lease I paid two deposits totaling $425.I mentioned some problems when I moved in , mostly concerning the state of the decade old carpet in the bedroom and some other issues that were never fixed. Everytime it rained, for example, the bathtub would bubble up with raw sewage. I was a great tenant always paying my rent on time even during the pandemic and accepting large rent increases every year. This is for an 800 square foot one bedroom apartment with no washer /dryer hookups. I negotiated a far better rate for my final 6 month lease with freeman webs corporate office in Nashville than the revolving door of leasing agents at Windover would offer. I did this by sending pictures and videos of the aforementioned issues. They agreed it was a poorly run and managed property compared to all their others. As soon as I moved out , the leasing agent decided she wanted me to pay for all of the problems I had mentioned during my five years there that they had refused to fix. These charges totaled $454 , including items such as a $220 charge for spraying ‘kilz’ spray and another large one for replacing two slats in the blinds that were as old as the carpet. They do this to all of their tenants when they move out , writing emails almost identical to the one they had the audacity to write me. Do not live at Windover apartments.It is run by dishonest people and is an old run down and overpriced facility.

I lived here for 3 years, and the ONLY reason why I left was because management wanted to "update" my apartment and up my rent over $200 a month. When I mentioned to the office manager I couldn't afford it, she informed me that what I was paying for a 2 bedroom she could easily get for a 1 bedroom. This is a 50 year old complex. I had bug problems year round. The air conditioner quit every summer. The maintenance staff was probably the friendliest bunch of guys around though, and I always liked seeing them. Office management just seemed to be about the money. When I moved into the complex, a lot of people had lived there for years. By the time I left, it was completely different, most residents didn't stay long. It's a great location, no doubt, but it's an old complex that isn't taken care of. Breeze ways are dirty, stairs are barely held together, and a lot of the lighting fixtures do not work. It saddened me to leave here, but it was very clear the company is about money, and not keeping residents.
The leasing office along with the maintenance staff are amazing. Love the things they are doing and upkeep that they are doing around the property! You can see they really care about the resident and bringing things for them to make them feel more like a home. The monthly activities are also great to get people involved.

I moved into knoxville from out of town and on a very short notice. The staff was very helpful in getting me into a place that I needed and by the time I needed. Place was spotless on moving in. Walls are a little thin upstairs, but it has rarely been an issue.
