Love it here. Maintenance is quick to respond when needed, which hasn’t been often. Neighbors are quiet & my unit has lots of space. I’m moving out soon, but truly wish I could stay! Wish there were 1 bedroom units!

Some issues with the apartment upon moving in (pipe burst, floor is coming up), but the front team, especially Melanie, is very responsive. Lots of dog poop stations!

Windshire office staff is courteous and grounds are maintained. Very comfortable and cozy! Pool and gym areas are convenient and nice. Close to many shopping areas and local stores.

It's a nice place where to live. The property is well maintained, (except the dog poop that is everywhere. It's not their (Windshire) fault. The fault lies with the people who live there). Maintenance guys are good workers, and always with a handwave from the vehicle they are in. The management is great as well.

So far it's been ok. Not sure how the water bill works all know is it has to be building divided by apartments rented because I usually only use the bathroom here and shower after workouts at work yet I still owe 50 or 60 bucks for water usage when I'm hardly home. Other than that it hasn't been bad

I like living here! The grounds & building are kept beautiful and clean. My favorite things about my apartment is that I get so much sunlight & I also get to see the sunset everyday from the Den. The location is convenient, there are a lot of places to walk and shop.

I like to live at Windshire Terrace. Well maintained property, nice apartments, small gym, refreshing pool, close to the highways, grocery stores and bike/running path nearby, great parking situation at our building, are just a few things coming to my mind immediately.

I absolutely love living here. The management and maintenance staff members are super friendly, polite, understanding, and professional. They don’t speak to you like an annoying tenant, they treat us like friends. The location is PERFECT in regards to local shopping. The only 2 things I am disappointed about, is the pool only being 4ft deep. And the second issue, is the residents here always leave the gas grills on, so the gas is always empty. I had my entire family over for a BBQ after confirming the grills would have gas the day before, and then I ended up moving the party to my apartment kitchen lol. No big deal really though on those 2 issues, although a deeper pool would be amazing ?? Thank you guys for everything. I plan to stay here until I buy a home of my own maybe a few years down the road.

Wonderful Community, Very well kept grounds. Maintenance is very fast and efficient! Leasing office is fast at responding to concerns as well.

Leasing process was well explained, easy, and efficient. Melanie assisted on every level for us as we went through the application process. Premise was clean, welcoming and ready upon our arrival.

Love living here. It is a nice quiet place with great neighbors. They are always doing something to get the community together and they keep the property very nice.

I’ve lived here a year and am pleased. The apartment is spacious and I adore the fireplace. Grounds are kept up well and maintenance attentive. The only drawback for me is the upkeep of the hallway. I’d be nice if the weekly cleaner did a little more to keep it looking nice. There’s lots of marks on the walls from people moving in and out.

Outstanding place to live! Upkeep is over the top. Building Maintenance is crew are over the top when it comes to maintenance & repairs. Leasing office people are always willing to help. Just a great place to live!

Jeff was very polite and attentive to maintenance call very fast and efficient. He kept communication open and let me know what was going on every step of the way.

I like living here, the apartment is spacious and luminous with fine finishes. Large patio. The property is surrounded by greenery and well maintained.

Our experience so far has been great. It's a very zen neighborhood. Encourages me to be more active, which has been great. And it just feels like home. Out of all the places we've been, this feels like home.

Minus the few issues, I’ve had with people parking in my spot, it a nice quiet community. Apartments are nice size, any issue we had maintenance has been there to fix them with in 2 days. One upgrade they can use or another trash location, and had the dumpster dumped more often, same with the recycling spot

Management staff seems to not care about resident concerns or questions while rent continue to go up. Have been ignored multiple times and have been treated with attitude when bringing certain things to their attention.

Nice place to live, accessible to a lot of things. Upgrading the kitchen and floors would be appreciated, especially since I have lived here for longer than 2 years.

Quiet and nice community. The only issue I have is that the recycling dumpster is constantly full and overflowing. It really needs to be emptied weekly. Otherwise I don't really have anything to complain about.

After living here for 20 years, we asked for replacement appliances as well as horizontal blinds. Jeff, Marc and Gary resolved all the issues as soon as they could and they did it professionally. We’re very pleased with our upgrades. Thanks again guys.

I’m enjoying the apartment and maintenance does a good job at addressing any concerns I have. The grounds are kept clean. The hallways could use some updates.

Living here is stressful- seriously search around other options before considering moving here. Apartments and hallways are dirty, smelly, dead mice and mouse poop everywhere. Appliances breaking a lot. It’s super hard to find parking at night time. They are charging soooo much money and for what?? To go to a crowded “resort” pool to listen to screaming children? They plant a few flowers and shrubs and call themselves “luxury loving”. And forget about talking to management- they will ignore you when you knock on the door to the leasing office which they lock frequently.

Trying finding a parking spot in this complex after 8PM, you can't. Parking policies are not inforced and it is horrible. Only one reserved parking spot is allowed per apartment and everyone else is left to fight over "visitor" spaces.

My husband and I have been living at Windshire for over four years. The amenities are clean, maintenance is great, and they are dog friendly. We love the large patio and living room fireplace!

The staff here is really accommodating and so helpful. Jamella really helped to make my first move, from a different state, so smooth and easy. Appliances, floors, carpet, etc are all new and maintained really well. This is a really great price for a really great living space. The community/surroundings are really great too. A safe place to be. Everything you need is very close in proximity. Schools, grocery stores, shopping, etc(: I highly recommend

Where do I start….My experience has been amazing. The entire staff is wonderful. The staff made my move a very easy transition. Damali and Jamella took all the new move stress away! I couldn’t thank them enough for everything (these women rock!). The maintenance team is top notch. Roy the Service Manager and his team Shamaz and Jeff know what they are doing. The grounds are clean and buildings well maintained. Maintenance staff and management are very responsive to questions, needs or repairs. A couple month after moving in I experienced a maintenance emergency. Not only did Roy and Shamaz come right out late in the evening but the Property Manager Jasmin made a point to come out and make sure everything was all set as well (and this was on the weekend). This meant a lot to me to know they are not only responsive but truly care about the Community and Residents. If you are looking for a 2 bedroom in Middletown this is the place. I would highly recommend this place for anybody looking for a convenient location and a peaceful place to live. Community is good but the staff is what makes it AMAZING!

I lived here for two years and it sucked. The management has changed twice and we’ve had multiple maintenance managers and workers. Top it off they make a no smoking policy in your apartment and you can smoke 10 feet away from you deck. Now all us non-smokers can’t leave windows open on a nice day cause all you smell is smoke. And Nevermind the cigarette butts left on the ground.

At first, I was really interested in Windshire. Everything appeared well maintained and clean. Once I applied, I started to have problems. At first, I was approved and was about to move forward with signing the lease. Then, 2 days later, I got denied. When I asked why, they informed me that the management said that “they don’t want me here”. I did absolutely nothing to deserve such poor treatment. They refused to give me my money back for application and on top of that, they sent me an email stating that I got denied due to evictions! I was never evicted in my entire life. For those who are looking at this place, please go to a different place where you will not be lied to, taken advantage of, and have to wait for a week to find out that you are denied for something you have never done. Best of luck to those who are looking for a new home because this is not it. Very saddening and frustrating experience.

If I could give this place a one star review I would. Don’t live here. The management is rude and inattentive. Maintenance is rude and inattentive. When we moved in we were warned by the leasing agent to be careful because the company tries to keep as much of your security deposit as possible. Well guess what? We moved out and they kept most of our $1,000 security deposit. I’ve never had that happen before. In addition, we had an intrusive neighbor who stared in our windows and followed us around the complex. I asked her to stop and then complained to the management but nothing happened. We had to keep our windows constantly closed. There was also a feral cat from a nearby colony who peed and puked on our deck but management wouldn’t do anything about that either.

I have leave in Windshire Terrace Apartment for the past ten years and this new management by (Hampshire Assests)is worst of all the management of this complex ,the staff here are rude do not care about resident, I have email a work order for my apartment since Friday 8/10/18 and as of today 8/17/18 no staff member has even have the courtesy to call and I went to the office on Wednesday 8/15 /18 to ask and was told the are short of staff so they know when to come to my apartment so if you want move to Windshire Terrace think twice.

Love the Property and the Staff!!! The Property Manager, Meghan, is very understanding and extremely easy to deal with. She is there for the tenants when you need to speak with her and your concerns are addressed immediately. The Property is well kept under her direction and the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, Rob. Everyone under these two individuals are also very easy going and always smiling when you see them. The apartments are absolutely beautiful!!! Couldn't ask for more in an Apartment Community! Ready to re-new my lease.

New management is very rude. Maintenance guys look like dirtbags. I was laying out at the pool with my 2 friends and the maintenance guy came in smoking a e cig vaping and staring at is we were very uncomfortable. Then kept driving by behind the pool staring. Moving soon and cant wait.

smell of smoke in every building maintenance is a joke management is a joke this place is not updated and just plain a waste of money moving in a month

The story on here regarding wheels being stolen is very true it happened to my partner, and I have seen at least four other cars on blocks. The smoking rule is not enforced when it comes to pot. They have increased the utility fee recently even adding an $8 garbage disposal fee. There is no indication that there will be added garbage dumpsters (one for over 200 unit and consistently breaking down). The management is passive aggressive and unprofessional in all interactions. As for the “appreciation” activities they are consistently canceled due to lack of staff. To sum it up management is poor, they do nothing but charge for everything little thing. Very expensive too. Oh and to the person who said it’s a secure building that is not true. There is no keyed entry and no security cameras anyway (except by the dumpster). The building I live in had spray painted graffiti in the inside hallway and the back “locked” vestibule has had homeless people sleeping in it. As someone else said stay away!

I just want to respond to the review below. I've lived her for awhile and have not seen anything but positive changes with the new owners. They are very friendly and have done a lot of improvement in a short time. Smoking is gross, but there is no rule against it in the apartments. If you think someone is breaking the law though it would make sense to call the police - the management can't arrest the person and can't be here at all times to know what goes on after hours. As for the car issue, it is known that this happens around Middletown and surrounding towns. Stories of this are all over the news. I did call the police station after seeing this review and was told that only unlocked cars were rummaged through and they do not believe it was related to wheel thefts that have happened. Sorry but who leaves their car unlocked? Also, there has never been "surveillance" here, and the parking policy has not changed at all - they even use the same exact towing company. They did have to cancel the alarm systems but are installing new locks/deadbolts free of charge for anyone who asks, and they were old systems that you had to have a house phone for anyway so I'm sure a lot of people weren't even using them. Yes neighbors can be annoying/loud at times. But overall as apartments go, this is a great community and I am happy to live here.

We were very happy initially upon moving in but as time passed, like anything you start to see the cracks. Rather, when a management company bought the property out things started to go down hill and FAST. First was the fact that there were what we suspected as drug dealer across the hall from us. Random ppl coming and going at odd hours. Their door always slightly cracks so no one would knock and cause the dog they had to bark and then the awful smell of pot being smoked filling the entire hallway. When we complaint the first time, no response. The second and third time finally getting an email back stating to just call the local cops. Hummmm ok how about the no smoking in the unit rule we are supposed to have...oh well guess the whole "you will be evicted die to breach of contract" doesn't come into play when its pot and not tobacco. Then came the discontinuing of the individual security alarms because it would simply be "too expensive to maintain the same security features with such outdated equipment" as the contract that was in place is voided after the company was bought out. That was a huge selling point for us when we moved in. Gone. Then came the car break ins. They stole what we thought was a diaper bag but that was only to distract us from the fact that the wheel lock that was in the console was now missing. We went to management to tell them and then they simply said to call the police and they would file a "report" which I guess means a note in our renters file. I asked for a video and they said they don't have any surveillance, another thing that went out the window when they took over from the old management company. Later we found out that this had been an issue in the past few months. Cars being broken into, things that are seemingly minute stolen to cover up that the wheel lock is missing then a few weeks will pass and residents will find their car on blocks...wheels gone. This apparently has occurred three times in the past 6 months!!!!!!! The final straw is the towing of a car that was parked in a valid spot. Oops was the response we got. Apparently the policy changed on where we can park when the new company took over but they neglected to tell us residents. Our lease is up soon..... lets start packing. If you are smart you will stay far from here unless it's your VERY LAST RESORT. it looks all great in the surface but it's been nothing but heart ache and irritation stating about 6 months after moving in here.

My apt location appears to be great!! But in reality, it is located beside a very busy street and the traffic continues throughout the night. The location within the building is great (first floor) and the building is secure. The complex has all the service that were advertised and the staff has been great.
