I have lived in many apartments, but I have to say moving into Windsor at Aviara was best decision I made. I first met with Lauren in the office, she was the main reason I moved in here, she was super friendly and helpful and was instrumental in making sure I got an appartment that was perfect for me. Move in went smoothly and on time again due to Lauren. The maintenance staff are friendly and quick at resolving any issues. The apartment is modern with clean lines and I have really made it my home away from home. I just love living here and feel very safe.
Great community feel that’s starts with the team in the leasing office. Very nice comfortable apartments. Clean and quiet. Love it enough that we have returned for a second stint at Windsor!!

I have been living here for four years now and have been very satisfied with my experience at Windsor.
I’m happy to call Windsor at Aviara my Home! The community is peaceful, gated, safe and well run. It is centrally located with easy access to the Hwy 5 and San Diego as well as shopping and restaurants. We have great community area with large pool, BBQ area, fire pit, fitness center, game room, library, guest launch with fireplace and kitchen for parties. The personnel are all fantastic and ready to assist in any needs one might have. We have families with children and families with pets. Surroundings are quiet, peaceful, clean and well kept. Parking areas are well lit. Some residents have attached garages and some have covered parking but there are plenty spots for everyone. Each unit has a small storage area on the balcony or patio. Residents living here are quiet, polite and friendly. I am very happy living here!

Windsor at Aviara is a great place to live. The management, leasing and maintenance staff are very professional, friendly, efficient and quick to respond to any request. It is a pet friendly community and neighbors get to know each other easily. The leasing office sponsors all kinds of events monthly that brings the community together.
Maintenance Team here is always prompt in providing services to fix any issues related to my apartment and they have been doing so consistently. This helps for a pleasant stay in Windsor at Aviara Community.
I love it here. Comfortable, Clean and quiet. Location is fantastic. All the staff is helpful and friendly. The community events are a nice touch too. No complaints.
Terrible move in experience. Multiple maintenance issues, cleaning issues, defective floor and lack of customer service from staff, particularly Christine. We were told before move in by Monica that the pool would be 80 in the winter and 85 in the summer. This was a huge selling point and did not turn out to be accurate. 6 weeks later, our flooring was replaced and we are finally able to be in our apartment.

I love the complex, but with the rent steadily rising by each year, it has just become too expensive for me to afford. Would have loved to stayed, but as a teacher I need to find a more affordable option.
In the 13 months I have had the pleasure of residing here, my experiences with the management and maintenance staff have been uniformly pleasant and satiisfactorily resolved. That a luxury apartment complex should have pleasant, professional and sincerely friendly staff is not surprising, nor is it surprising that their competence is unquestionable. What IS surprising, is their dedication. Twice, I've had low-priority maintenance issues I submitted on a Friday, fully expecting to wait until the following week, only to have someone at my door on Saturday morning. I've seen a manager with a broken wrist, untreated, refuse to leave a residents' get-together, after-hours, in spite of other management being on-site, until it was over and everything was cleaned up. In fact, the maintenance engineer who responded to my last issue, on a Saturday, had just had a heart attack and had a stent put in days before, and was already back at work. Not to mention, it's gorgeous, close to the beach, and seems to be at just the perfect spot in the hills so that it's never too hot, never too cold...just perfect for laying by the pool. Everything you could want is 10 minutes drive from here, but nothing is closer than that, except a school, a coffee shop, a couple of churches and a golf course, so there's very little traffic, noise, etc.. compared to the surrounding environs. Not to mention the full gym, pool, game room, theatre room, bbq pits, outdoor fireside area, jacuzzi....yeah, it's a rough life, but we manage. What's not to like?
The staff at Aviara is very friendly, professional and caring. They go out of their way to resolve any concerns. The grounds are kept well and manicured. The space is clean. It is a pleasure living in this community.

The maintenance staff are super nice and helpful. They are always courteous and respectful with the residents, honestly one of the best maintenance staffs I have lived with.
I was sold on this place when I met the girls at the front desk. They were so inviting and so nice and since I have moved in that has not changed. My experience with all the staff has been super great not to mention that the facilities and amenities are super nice. The location is also great it’s super calm and nice to live in.
The staff is absolutely the best. They always say “Hi”, are quick to resolve any concerns, and go out of their way to make everyone feel at home.
Being here in Windsor Aviara @ Ambrosia Ln the last 3 months I can only say one world : Excellence! It says it all, personnel at office , maintenance by the great polite and precise stuff ! I love this place for its character, my neighbors, the fitness center, BBQ and fire pit and of cause the pool! I have fantastic view of only trees and bushes, my car under the roof, storage at premises. I’m afraid this will be my spot to the end of my time! If so I will be very happy!
I like the apartment complex and the staff members are very nice. It’s quiet; with plenty of parking. And the air conditioning works great. Because of a misunderstanding on my part, I thought I was renting a one bedroom loft, instead of a loft-style one bedroom, a term never heard of before. I take full responsibility for this; haven’t rented for many many years.

Upon move in there was a huge water leak that was not caught by the management team prior to my move in. Management did a poor job at communicating with me and the service provided to support me was unacceptable for a "luxury" complex.
Aviara is almost like the home you want. Everything is near by; shopping, medical, banking needs, relaxation and most of all the staff is super number one.
The maintenance staff here are all kind, professional and experienced. Dan and Junior are so easy to work with, they treat you like part of the family. They are also so great with our pets, they have treats on their carts and they are so great with them when they arrive to handle maintenance requests.
Maintenance is excellent. Usually respond with in 2 hours. Always polite and efficient. They greet me and say hi to my cat. Office staff friendly and helpful.
I love my doggie friendly home at the Windsor. The staff is trustworthy, always readily available in case of an emergency. They have quickly resolved any issues raised. The Windsor is a phenomenal location and very beautiful landscaped setting. I love the trails close by and the beach. The Windsor has lots of get together’s. That makes me feel like I am part of a community Kathleen Ausbrook.
I've had a great experience from the moment I went to check the community. The leasing agent was super informative and very diligent with my entire moving process. Jenny kept me informed every step of the way and was great on following through with everything that I needed before, during and after moving. So far its been a great experience, the community is always kept super clean, love the amenities, I'm glad I chose this community to call home.
Rent and pet fees go up annually with no added value and increased negligence of maintenance. Landscaping has been neglected for nearly a year and after multiple requests and complaints management has still not had landscaping action. Office is near impossible to get a hold of. This complex has lost their “luxury” designation
My experience at WIndsor has been that the residents are mature and mutually respectful, the grounds, landscaping and pathing create a relaxing atmosphere, the amenities are clean, lovely and functional, and the staff are helpful, competent and friendly. With a location only 12 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from San Diego, and 1.5 hours from L.A., and a surrounding community of millionaires tucked away in the Carlsbad hills, you really kind of have to look for a reason to be dissatisfied wiith Windsor at Aviara. Summary: If you complain in the morning about a pea under your 25 mattresses, then you should probably purchase a villa in the South of France, as I'm sure this will not meet your exacting standards. If you're anyone else, however? You never had it so good.
I enjoy many aspects of living at Windsor at. Aviara. The one singular issue that effects my experience in the neglected inner landscaping. There is an obvious issue with irrigation and a lack of grooming and maintenance of vegetated areas. With that said, some areas are beautifully maintained while others (typically those inside the gated community not seen by the general public) are grossly neglected.
My review is not for the maintenance team as they provide great service to the residence. My review is reflective of the maintenance changes that are not consistent nor properly communicated to the residences at Windsor. The fact that residents are now being asked to pay $75 for a water filter replacement is ridiculous. We have lived here for nearly 3 years and this is the first time we are being asked to cover this charge. Residents have no say or ownership to our appliances and therefore, we should not be liable for these charges. Every year rent goes up, pet fees increase, with no additional value or services. Landscaping has been neglected for more than 6 months. Parking bays are not managed and governed. My experience living here is quickly going downhill. This is far from “luxury apartments”

Management responds promptly to requests and maintenance calls in a timely manner. Overall, we’re very happy at the community as it’s a secure and safe environment. No issues with parking as there is available spots any time of the day. Neighbors are friendly and the apartments are nice. We’d recommend this community as we’ve had nothing but a positive experience!
