Windsor at Legacy is a great place to live. I looked at half a dozen other apartment communities and by far Windsor was the best. More expensive still offers a lot. The other apartment communities was very noticeable that no maintenance had been done in years. Painting, carpeting and other amenities weren’t up to standard living.

This is a great place live! I've lived here for two years and I really don't have any complaints at all. The office staff is friendly and cares about their tenants, the maintenance team is friendly and they love it here; I've never heard any of them complain about their job, in fact, they've told me that they love what they do and that means a lot to me! I couldn't ask for better neighbors, they are friendly and we all look out for each other. There's been a few changes within complex, and as with any changes, at first, they're bothersome (my opinion), however, I know it's for the safety of the community. I have to admit, I don't like the new towing provisions, I don't have a ton of company and because of that, I know that when I do have company, I will scramble to find the information to register their vehicle. Other than that, the property is quite, even with the children playing outside. There's a beautiful walking trail, lined with beautiful landscaping and a river alongside of it, which makes for a peaceful brisk walk, if you're a nature type of person. Overall, this is a great place to live!

I decided on Windsor Legacy because of it's accessibility to Legacy Trail and the larger size of the apartments. My move in was not smooth, my garage was not ready for 2 days and my apartment was not the dimensions advertised. The living room is vastly smaller than it was represented in the floor plan (the plan says it should be 13'10" but there is an alcove in the hallway outside that changed it to 11'4"). I had no options of another apartment and with my movers just downstairs, I was told I could take it or leave it. I submitted my move in checklist within the 48 hour time frame but it has been 4 weeks and not all items have been addressed. I was never shown how to access the amenities at move-in so I had to ask a random neighbor how to get to the gym and package room. The apartment is not bad, I have lots of natural light and the breeze is great, I also have the access to the trail I really wanted, but I feel very insignificant and unimportant to the management staff. Hopefully my issues will be addressed sooner rather than later and I won't have to concern myself with this any longer.
The maintenance team here at Legacy at Windsor response time to my urgent need was outstanding. The team provided me with best-in class customer service. Keep up the great work.

although the management they have encountered so far, have been very polite and professional. The overall experience here has been less than so far I have put in multiple work orders. None have been responded to some have been closed out without me, knowing the walls here at this apartment is very thin the people up above me stomp around all day and every single night between the hours of 2 AM and 3 AM they’re awake stomping around doing who knows what. When I’ve originally moved into this apartment, it was not cleaned. I’ve put in several work orders to have areas of the apartment where paint stripped repainted I put work order to fix the second bathroom toilet I have put a work order into your place the nearly black air filter for the air condition. It took almost 3 or four months to get a icemaker maker fixed in the middle of the summer yeah, this is not a place I will be renewing.

The location is very convenient. The apartments are very old and not maintained. The rent is quite high for old unmaintained apartment like this. The Management needs to be a more responsive. Maintenance issues have to be logged multiple times before they are resolved. Previous Management was good.

I would like to say THE MAINTENANCE staff is just GREAT!!!
Worst experience I’ve ever had with rental property. The property is understaffed and overworked. Incorrect information was proving to me when viewing the unit and there is false information on website. I was told full until would have laminate floor and when I arrive there was carpet in the bedroom and closets. A occupied install was completed however, the new laminate does not match the rest of apartment and they refuse to update so that it will match. Now I’m forced to look at that eye sore for 12 months. Unit was not cleaned, poor paint job, some errs were not painted, baseboard should have been replaced in several areas throughout the apartment. My list of issues goes on and on. Windsor only cares about the money.
My experience was horrible since move in, the apartment was not inspected, none of the issues on the move in inventory were addressed the dish washer was broken from move in until now the maintenance men half fix the appliances the outside renovations paint job was horrible paint tape and missed spots are all over the property. The office staff are not in sync with corporate nor are they willing to work with tenants my bathroom was out of commission for 3 plus months with my toilet not sitting on the sewer line. The sink fell in because it was glued to the counter and caused the kitchen to flood.

The problem I (and other residents) continue to have is low water pressure after major "upgrades to our plumbing occurred. One of our maintenance personnel came and removed plastic bits from the faucet diffusers which helped a little, but water pressure continues to be unacceptably low ~60% of what we had prior to the plumbing upgrades. I do not blame our maintenance, but rather management for failing to dispatch qualified plumbers to adequately address the issue and restore proper water pressure.
The office staff was accommodating very professional and pleasant
No management when I moved in, my apartment was not ready for me. Tons of repairs still needed to be done. Garage remote works on and off, I requested a new one and never got it. Screen door broken and holes in screen, no lightbulb in the stair area and dark to walk down, no light for microwave, tub in guest area has a broken drain, broken blinds...etc.

This complex is quiet? green, lots of trees and right on White Rock Creek. It is well maintained and office staff has always been very helpful.
Ellen is an excellent manager. She is very attentive, hard working and is very relatable. The entire staff is wonderful!
Apartment was not cleaned up on move-in, open several tickets for maintenance to repair took about three weeks for maintenance to show up. Only a few tickets actually repaired still need paint and still need icemaker which is broken and has not been repaired.

Located right next to a trial with a nice lake-river, 1 mile from a dog park and playground. Amazing location next to the Legacy shops, HEB and The Tollway. The staff is really helpful and professional. Very well kept and clean amenities. I love it here.
Since relocating to a new unit, I have had trouble with getting any response from maintenance requests in particular about my front door that will not fully lock. Upon move in, front door is in shambles, lights flicker randomly, toilet is constantly running randomly, and there is a constant very loud hum from the transformer? that is right beside my building that I was not aware of before transferring. I literally have to wear earplugs to sleep at night. Paint or plaster is peeling from cabinets and caulk is coming up from bathtub. I love the convenience and layout of these apartments especially with my garage but do not think they’re worth what I pay for the condition or treatment at all.
I love this Community, the location and the layout of the apartments. The management staff is great, and they respond timely to issues which is important. There have also been some nice upgrades to the community since Windsor took over. I have lived here for 5 years and plan to stay until I retire

Every day there is something that needs repairs however when the maintenance comes to do repairs it turns out worse and then I have to call the emergency number and have them come back out. The 2 months have been at this property have been the worse experience I have ever experienced. Since I moved in I have had at least 17 maintenance tickets at one time. Every day something is wrong and every day I have to go to the office because something else needs repairs. Maintenance and management continue to make promises and give you the run-around and things never get done. The office staff and maintenance are not on the same page. You will get different answers depending on who you talk to.
The complex itself is fine, but it’s still old. The rent prices are stunningly high though.

35 year old building that has been repainted again. Rent hiked 400$ when they took over. Lived here for 17 years and being forced out because of their greed . Will do everything in my power to get the word out about how bad this place has become
I like the community, but the apartment I rented was in absolute shoddy condition. Kitchen was missing a drawer, light bulbs did not work, balcony was absolutely filthy, scratches and smudges on the walls, closet racks were falling off and unstable, chips in the kitchen countertop, and appliances were shaky. There is more than this but this list alone is preposterous. I am thankful to be able to afford a place like this, but I was extremely upset

The apartment was not move in ready. The prior tenant had a pet and fur was everywhere, after we moved in and complained the carpet was cleaned. The laminate floors were dirty and gritty, still cleaning to get all the dirt off the floors. It has been a month since we moved in and the following has not been looked at by maintenance, so I fixed myself because no one should have to live like this. 2nd full bath did not have a knob in the shower to change temperature. 2nd full bath toilet bowl is not secured and is held in place by cardboard and sponges. Master bath shower temperature knob so corroded that we could not turn the knob. The ice maker was not working- the water was not hooked up. Almost all of the window screen have holes. Dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen because it was hooked up incorrectly. The kitchen sink is slow to drain.

We had a leak from apt. Above and I called the tech. He said it’d be about an hr because he’s coming from Denton and he showed up 20 min later. There is something to say when your maintenance technician shows this on an emergency call and takes care of the issue in minutes. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with an apartment technician.
Ellen and the entire staff have been exceptional since the purchase of the property a short time ago. They made it come to life and the positive feeling of things being taken care of and the friendly attitude makes the transition experience positive!!
I appreciate the efforts being made regarding the landscaping. I hope that will include planting sod and replacing the dead shrubs that resulted during the deep freeze in 2021. I really like the new trash pickup schedule. Maintenance seems to be very competent and helpful, and they also seem to really like their employer, which is a good sign. I live in a classic unit (not renovated), and am super worried about what my rent will go up to at renewal, and I hate always having to worry about that from year to year, because the market around here is so crazy.
My work orders were never done. I placed two work orders and after almost two weeks, the orders were marked as completed and I was sent a survey. But no one came to fix my issues. Windsor just recently took over this complex and if this is the way they handle things, I will not be a resident for much longer.

The maintenance team was great. The contractor for this property is pretty bad. Arrived on site then left for 6 hours returned to do 20 minutes of work and requested they come back tomorrow. Then left spots unpainted and sprayed the lights in the garage and now they barely work
