Once was good, but has gone downhill
This place has become a joke. If you want to deal with gnat infestations, elevators that are broke way more than they actually work, and apartments that have painted over mold and poor upkeep, then this is the place for you. Prior to the pandemic they were a good place to live but now with the overworked maintenance team and lack of care from the front office and owners this place is truly sad. Hence the reason they are cheap for the area and always have a lot of availability.

Complex Not Well Kept
The fruit flies in these apartments are unbearable! We don’t keep trash in our unit and maintain cleanliness everyday! But no matter what we do and no matter the season (even during the winter), we have been constantly fighting fruit flies for months! Management has no viable solution and it seems like the fruit flies are coming through the vents. It is unbearable living here and on top of that, the constant weed smoke from neighbors will give you a constant contact high…so BEWARE!!!

Windsor at Brookhaven provides a great location. It’s overpriced and you will have multiple maintenance issues that will not be resolved promptly. The staff at the leasing off are rude and not helpful. Wouldn’t recommend.

Most was good, but elevator kept breaking down
I lived on the 8th floor and there was an elevator near my door. During the last month I lived there, the elevator was out more than 3 weeks without being repaired. All of us were forced to used the freight elevator - which means you had to go outside to the parking deck every day. Part of the time, both elevators were broken - and those were the only two that went up to the eighth floor. I tried to get a partial refund of my rent for this, and for other times when the elevator wasn't working. Nobody in management cared - but certainly they kept collecting rent. I think that unless they completely replace the elevator that kept breaking down, it will never stay operational.

Windsor at Brookhaven is one of the best apartments I’ve lived in. Its central location is excellent, and the property is always clean and secure. Management is great about keeping in contact with us about complex-updates, and the occasional building-wide gathering is always fun and a great way to make connections with neighbors!

Do not live here
I've lived here for several years and seen the customer service rapidly decline. Front desk people are rude, maintenance does not actually fix problems (ie they just painted over a moldy spot instead of treating the mold), and refuse to take responsibility for any sort of resident's safety to physical assault on their "gated" parking garage to stolen packages. Go somewhere else and get more value for your money and time. I'm only here because I can't afford to move.

Overall good apartment complex so far, location is great. Maintenance procedures are lacking. Took 2 weeks to get the reserved parking spot that I was paying for from day one. Maintenance in general you never know what the status is unless you go to the office, no note left when someone has been in my apartment. No message as to the next steps. Maintenance guys are friendly and go above and beyond. Seems like more of an apartment management issue, maybe lacking a formal procedure for maintenance. It really lacks transparency. It says to look up your status online in the maintenance portal but it always says no open tickets.

for what I pay I would expect excellence, but parking garage needs to be repaired; have to drive out and around to receive packages and come back to apartment and I have gnats that I'm having trouble getting rid off. refrigerator compressor is loud.

I’ve lived here for three years now. I find it amazing how such a small staff can have this huge of an impact. The staff has amazing leaders at every level that are committed to excellence. I wish I could highlight just one person but it’s hard to with a team full of all stars. Whether it’s maintenance, leasing agents or management you can rest assured your feedback will be valued and there is a commitment to the community they serve. Words can’t describe but for what it’s worth it’s been an excellent living experience.

I appreciate the warm, friendly nature of the maintenance team. However I have had to make repeated maintenance work orders (5-6) for the same issue in my unit over the course of a year. Additionally, the overall quality and appearance of the community has significantly depreciated over the last 2-3 years. The property is not well kept, appears dirty often with trash/debris/animal waste in the halls and stairwells. The air in the hallways has been out over 2 months with 95 degree outdoor temperatures. The elevators are constantly out of service. The parking garage is filled with dirt and debris, the Windsor decal has been partially ripped off of the wall and not replaced for 2 years. There is a gnat problem. There are multiple nuisance issues with smoking, loud music, unsupervised guests. I suggest having management conduct a thorough review of the property and letting residents know the plan to address these issues to return the community back to a better state and place to live.

There are many commercial facilities in the surrounding area, making it a convenient environment. The staff are friendly and dog friendly. The negative point is that there are many fire alarm malfunctions and coffee maker failures.

Maintenance requests over the past year take 2-3 requests. I have been told that the building is old so there’s nothing that can be done or they are out of items to handle maintenance issues. Requests submitted through the online portal are closed without the problem being fixed. Staff is friendly but unable to resolve issues. Property appearance has gone down with external doors and gates broken, unkept hallways and parking garage areas. Noise in hallways. Definitely not the same level of management, service, and maintenance since I first moved here.

I love Windsor at Brookhaven! I moved in an apartment here about a month ago. The apartment looks amazing and all the amenities like club house, pool, business center look amazing! They keep it so clean and comfortable. The staff at the apartment are all friendly and helpful. It's also in the most convenient location too. So happy that I chose this place!

You WILL hear your upstairs’ neighbors, so if that’s a concern, do NOT move here! I got stuck with extremely inconsiderate neighbors, so it’s even worse! I am MISERABLE!!! Management couldn’t care less and enforces ZERO rules when it comes to dogs, so imagine having 2 LARGE dogs constantly fighting overhead! I want to blow my head off!!!

So far, everything has been great. The apartment is nice and the staff are good to deal with. I still haven't spent enough time in the building or had any major complaints to know how the staff handles issues, but from everyone I spoke to, they are all long time residents of the complex, which is a good sign. Only complaints is that the freight elevator on moving day was a nightmare. The elevator was reserved for us, but people were walking in and out of it as we were moving our furniture to and from the freight elevator. This also seems to be the only elevator in the parking garage. There were no reservation signs on it. The elevator also does not stay open when moving stuff in like freight elevators at other complexes. This may the moving in process ~8-10 hours for a 2 bedroom apt.

I absolutely love it here! The staff is amazing!! Atoyia, especially was extremely pleasant to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the community and accommodating throughout my entire experience. After viewing the property, Atoyia even asked if I had ate that day and gave me a gift card to Newks, which is a eatery conveniently located right next door. The moving process was seamless. The people here are friendly and parking is a breeze.
