Property Ratings at Windsor Creek Apartments
Lived here for three years. Super quiet, private, and spacious. Staff was helpful and kind. Maintenance staff were lovely, timely, and quick. Pool and gym were great. Clean and pretty paths. Only downside - the flooding got really bad during rainstorms, but that's not the complex's fault, that's just Lubbock . Highly recommend living here !!!
Staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Gates are always broken, property has trash everywhere. There is no parking unless you pay for a garage or covered parking and then good luck with someone not blocking it. You will never be notified of anything like inspections, fire alarm testing or maintenance entering your apartment. Maintenance will leave their trash in your apartment, after they supplied no notice that they entered, for you to clean up. when you do call for maintenance you will have to call multiple times for them to even show up and either half fix or not even bother fixing the issue and call back multiple more times trying to figure out if they did anything or not. They won't fix anything you complain about from them not giving notice, to maintenance issues, to noise complaints. They will tell you they are allowed to be in your apartment even if you have not given permission for them to enter if you are not present or have pets, and the reason they are entering is a non emergency. If you live on the ground floor there is a very high probability that your apartment either will be, or attempted to be, broken in to. None of the lights outside work in the hallways or on the outside of the buildings. If you live on the top floor I hope you like bird poop because the railings, walkways, and balconies are covered in it. In the 2x2 apartments there are only heating/ac vents in half on the apartment, any vent on the ceiling is a fire damper not an actual vent, the only coolingheating vents are on the walls, you'll have a whole room without a vent and a single vent for the living room, kitchen, and dining area. If you work any kind of alternating shift, overnight, or swingshift do not live here they will demand entry to you apartment without notification and then threaten you with a lease violation if you don't let them in because you were sleeping, not to mention them testing the fire alarms in the middle of the day with no notice. They will force their way into your apartment without permission or notice. They view you as in their work space and in their way not as your living space that they are providing a service too. This is easily the worst apartment complex I've lived at. There is no peace or privacy expectations.

dog park is so cute. parking is hard to find unless you wanna pay extra but when i lived here it wasn’t bad at all i felt safe and everything was so clean and amazing.
Decent apartments with zero parking. Good luck finding a spot if you get home anytime after 7pm. If you want packages delivered to your apartment, HA! Not only do they NOT notify you when you have a package delivered, they're practically NEVER opened on the weekends for you to pick it up. I've been trying to get a package the last 4 weeks. Since I have a full time job and don't get off til 6pm they are already long closed by the time I get home. They aren't opened on Sunday's and the last 3 out of the 4 weekends, they've been closed for private parties and "waxing". The one weekend they were actually opened I was out of town. Not to mention, one day about a month ago, I stayed home sick from work. About 9 am I had two gentleman trying to get into my apartment without knocking. Luckily I have a dog that made sure they didn't get in. Turns out they were the pest control men. NO NOTICE WAS GIVEN THAT THEY WOULD BE SPRAYING. Not even a time frame. After experiencing an apartment break in in 2013 that left me completely uncomfortable. Good luck if you choose to live here.
