Property Ratings at Windsor Estates
The maintenance dept will fix items quickly and efficiently, Unfortunately, the property is old. The management/ owner removed the carpets in the living and dining area, now you can literally every sound, vibrating through the unit, so any normal sound has been intensified, especially kids running. I spoke to management and was told it was the tenant's responsibility for noise control and to place carpets in their unit if they wanted to alleviate sounds for the unit below. Unfortunately, you are responsible. This place is NOT NOT worth residing. Please stay away!!!

Our team strives to provide residents with a home they can be proud of and enjoy living in. We are sorry if you feel our recent renovations have caused you any inconvenience. We would love to speak with you about some possible solutions to your noise concerns, so please email us at windsorestates@rreafresidential.com when you can. We are here to help you.
Seeing as they only allow 50 characters allocated I'll say this. Management sucks and doesn't know anything. Maintenance doesn't know how to fix anything. Expect electricity to be high
I have lived here for 5 years and really like it. I fully intend to renew my lease. The office staff is professional, attentive, and friendly. They also have a no nonsense policy concerning rule breakers. They contact these people immediately and warn them about their behavior. The maintenance staff is excellent and take care of problems quickly and repairs are done right the first time. A very good team. My neighbors are nice and quiet. There is rarely a loud obnoxious party running late into the night. One call to the courtesy police officer and the problem is solved! I live in Phase 1 which feels more like a residential community with nice green spaces and fully grown trees. I like taking peaceful strolls with my dog. Rent increases are reasonable and I have no complaints. Definitely recommend living here!
I love my home with Windsor Estates! The grounds are really well kept and the amenities are endless. The office staff and maintenance team are super professional and very attentive.

I have been here for over a year and I just decided to renew. So happy I chose Windsor estates! Staff has been the same since I moved in. They take care of the community and are great at staying connected with residents. Always respond quickly to texts and ways answer the phone. Will definitely be here for a few years longer before I purchase my home.

Thank you for the review and the five stars! We are so proud of our staff's work!
I’ve been a resident here for 3 years. I’ve never had any issues with maintenance or the office staff. My one problem is the noice that comes from the unit upstairs after 10pm . I called patrol the first and the operator said she would have patrol come out . An 1 1/2 later and no one ever showed . I called again and she said ‘ Charlie is not answering’ and pretty much that was the end of our conversation. I’m pretty up set at the fact that rent here is high and we have patrol to control situations like this and it’s a NO SHOW!!!!
We moved here yesterday but a month ago Victoria helped us by being one of the sweetest most helpful worker i met in a long time. She answered all questions and went above & beyond herself by helping us out. We moved into a 1 bedroom apt on 3rd floor with the most beautiful view i ever seen. I am so estatic to move in this luxury apt with my husband and it be our home sweet home for awhile. The 2 ladies Victoria and Nikki in the front office are there to help us whenever we have questions and issues with anything! Thanks yall for everything...we are happy ecstatic residents here at Windsor Estates!!

Melissa H., Thank you so much for the feedback on the staff and for the five stars! Sincerely, Windsor Estates Ownership
We moved into Windsor Estates in March of 2018. From the beginning we had problems. Our windows would not stay up and one fell on my 2 year old daughters hand. We immediately called maintenance and after MANY months of asking them to fix it, they NEVER did. Cabinets randomly fell apart. The dishwasher did not wash dishes, even after getting a replacement. I felt unsafe here. I saw drug deals in the parking lot. My husband walked out on a car being broken into. There were fire ants everywhere that my daughter was bit up by, and as a renter you are paying for pest control?? There was poop in the pool. They claim they clean it once a week but I, not once, saw it being cleaned. It was always foggy and gross feeling. My fire alarm had a problem where it would just randomly go off, only in the middle of the nights. The office staff comes off as nice in the beginning but if you address them with any problems they are rude. I could go on and on about the problems I had with this management and apartment complex, but I will spare you the time. If you listen to ANY advice in your life, please save yourself heartache and a miserable year and DO NOT move in here. I will personally help you find somewhere better in the area. This corporate better find new management to turn this place around and get better workers, or they will be out of business fast. RUN, do not walk, away from the idea of ever moving here. The only thing I am impressed with here is the man who did this complex's photography because he made it look halfway decent and photoshopped out all the dog poop and mold growing everywhere.

Lauren, We received both of your reviews and we are very sorry your experience did not live up to our standards. We wish you luck in your new home. I know that our Community Manager Toby has reached out to you recently just to see if there are any outstanding issues that have occurred since your move out two months ago that have lead you to voice your displeasure. Please work with him if there is. Sincerely, Windsor Estates Ownership
DO NOT MOVE here especially if you are a student. I have had numerous problems with noise complaints ...like floor vibrating noise. I have been in here a month and it has been the worst living experience ever. I am a student and have lived in apartments before so I am not new to noise but this is different. I usually will file a complaint and management takes care of it. My first complaint was made THE DAY I MOVED IN. I politely told my neighbor to turn it down a bit and he agreed. The following day I got reprimanded for talking to the neighbor about the noise and was told to call patrol. They made it seem as if I was the instigator in the problem when the neighbor was the one being disrespectful. After this incident, I have called patrol FOUR TIMES but the apartment hasn't believed me a single time because patrol either got there when it was off or never showed up at all. The management is horrible. She told me that this was apartment living and that I should be able to put up with the noise and told me that there were complaints against me too which is unprofessional. She said a recording will not count as proof and pretty much could care less whether I was enjoying my experience or not. I plan on breaking my lease pretty soon. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I also believe my neighbor is retaliating against me by playing music loudly since the incident but I doubt the apartment will look into it.
The staff here is stuck up and consistently lies about everything. They have a terrible bug problem(gnats, roaches, spiders etc) that multiple residents I know have complained about. All they do is have the pest guy spray and it does nothing for the issues at hand. Randi in particular, who always has an attitude and has terrible reviews dating back from 2013 so I'm not sure how she is still employed here, lied to my roommate and said that pest control does not spray for the bugs (that are already in the apartments before you move in btw) and once I demand to speak to the manager they suddenly were able to do it the next day. Someone changed our locks and when we requested a form showing that they had changed them before we moved in Randi told us "this is the risk you take living on your own" and that they can't guarantee anyones safety. Makes sense because they have had multiple incidents with peoples cars being broken into including my roommates car and when she notified the office Randi told her there was nothing they could do. Not surprising honestly since the gates are always broken and the gate doors to walk through are never locked. The community is dirty, dog poop everywhere, the pool is gross they have a "gym" that consist of three machines. The gates are always broken, they no longer take in packages in the leasing office so majority of the time your packages will be sent back to the post office. We had neighbors that were evicted (I'm assuming since I was told they were waiting for the keys to be turned in and no one was in or out for those 3 months) that left 5 trash bags on their balcony for 3 months. We called the leasing office at least 5 times to notify them that it was causing gnats to swarm our door and it wasn't cleaned up until maintenance began to clean the apartment for the new people. There are a lot of other communities that are the same price and much nicer. I think that the regional manager should step in and actually do something about the constant complaints of lazy, rude, and unhelpful employees they continue to let work here. Randi seems to be the recurring issue from what I have seen. They should worry about restaffing, having better security, fixing the bug issues and actually putting money into the units rather than building a sand volleyball pit, dog park and gazebo that will most likely be trashed within the next few months. So excited for my lease to be up!

Kendall, We have received all of your reviews and please know that we take your feedback to heart. We will review all of this with management and try to identify areas we can improve upon. In regard to the pricing, it is standard for the industry that prices of apartments rise and fall due to supply and demand. So it is true that two people who sign leases at different times can pay a different price for the same floorplan, but anyone who walks in that qualifies will always be given the same price on the same day. We do hope we can convince you to stay when your lease is up, but if you decide to leave we wish you the best wherever you go. Sincerely, Windsor Estates Ownership
Horrible place to live. Crime increasing, questionable neighbors, unkind staff. I can't warn you all enough. Please do not come to Windsor Estates. Very unfortunate that the management has run this place to the ground.

Dear Anonymous, We appreciate the review. At Windsor Estates we are committed to providing an exceptional living experience to all of our resident family. We will share your review with our leadership and try to identify any areas we could have done a better job in. If you have continued concerns, please call our Community Manager Genesis at (409) 986-5966. Regards, Windsor Estates Ownership
My family and I moved here several years ago. I have seen management come and go, rent increased with out any upgrades to the interior, amenities reduced and minimal repairs to problems in the apartments. It is quiet at time but continued issues with gates being broken and securities cameras not being repaired (they do not work) it has become unfortunately unsafe at times. There are some pros... school district is great and access to 45 is perfect. Shopping is close by and you are close to Houston and Galveston. Unfortunately we will not be renewing our lease due to the negative factors listed.
After 3 years I'm happy to be moving from this place. The Management only checks on you when they want something. The Rude residents that let their dogs do business anywhere in the grass at the owner's convenience (even seen it on the sidewalks). The speeding and reckless driving through the parking lots. Water waste nightly from the sprinklers that the contracted lawn company can't maintain. And last but not least, the constant raising of rental rates without any rhyme or reason. If you do end up here make sure you get your copies of contracts, etc. The Office has a terrible time keeping track of records if it doesn't involve the rent that's due. TIRED OF THIS PLACE. GOODBYE WINDSOR.
My review start with the lost of my husband and my home that we built from the ground up. We had planned to live out our years in this home. Once I came to the conclusion this wasn't gonna happen, I started over with a new job and a new apartment. I fell in love with my new digs because on a much smaller scale my apartment look almost identical to the home I lost. When I walked in, it has tall ceilings, a coat closet, a wash room, crown molding, a crazy walkin closet which is better than the one I had, jacuzzi bath tub and hard wood flooring. God really blessed me. When he died i thought living was over for me, but I'm ok:).
I have lived at the windsor estates apartment complex with my husband and cat for a little over two years and we love it. We moved here shortly after we got married and moved out of our childhood homes. I am glad to say that this has been a great experience. The staff was really nice and walked us through the process of being first time renters. Spending the 75 dollars a month extra for a garage or 50 for a carport is worth it since the parking lot is always full. Also the gate breaks alot, but the pool is nice, I love the garden bathtub, the huge walk in closet, and the complex is generally quiet.
its alright but it could be always better.kids playing everywhere near my car witch i don't like.and gates break every other couple months made me late to work trying every gate. ;/
My mother always told me "you get what you pay for." When my husband and I were looking for an apartment Windsor Estates seemed like a great choice, they have a beautiful pool (which I've never used), a workout room (my husband used once), and they're a great price compared to the nearby apartments in League City. The great price is not worth dealing with the office staff. We have had a terrible time with the office staff. They're rude, snobby and if they tell you anything, make sure to get it in writing or you'll regret it later. I cannot stress that enough. We read reviews about the office staff and thought "oh, they can't be that bad." Believe me, they are. Maintenance is alright, they seem to get the job done in a timelly manner. Noise isn't bad, but you will hear cars all night long. You get used to it. Do yourself a favor, look somewhere else.
My wife and I are traveling nurses and have seen quite a few apartments with bad staff and amenities. With that being said, this is the nicest place we have ever been put up. Everyone in the office is nice and helpful. We went in one day and asked for so e recommendations of things to do in the area. Everyone chipped in and we had a killer list of things to do on our visit to Texas! The pool is amazing! My recommendation is check out Windsor estates! You will not be disappointed!
Apartments are excellent. Very affordable and nice. Management on the other hand is terrible. Uncooperative, rude, and too the point where we no longer go to them for anything. Glad to be moving shortly. When you walk in to the office, they are always playing around, or "busy". They are unwilling to help for anything you ask. They usually are very rude when asking them question. Apartments excellent, management terrible. So as long as you don't have to deal with them they are great.
