Every city has an “it” neighborhood – fun, funky, close to everything – and for DC, that neighborhood is Logan Circle. Named for a historic traffic circle ringed with Victorian homes, Logan Circle is beautiful, trendy, pedestrian-friendly, and filled with terrific boutiques, restaurants, theaters, art galleries, and bars. Think second-hand stores and avant garde films, dive bars and elegant French restaurants. Being DC’s “it” neighborhood, Logan Circle apartments are in very high demand.
You’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and theaters along 14th Street. If you are out shopping and want to stop for lunch, Le Diplomate is rumored to have the best burgers around. In the evening, Sotto is the place to be. For tapas, head to Estadio. Catch a play at Studio Theatre, or take a walking tour of the area’s numerous art galleries. If you want to furnish your new DC apartment, find just the right vintage or shabby chic item at Miss Pixie’s Furniture & Whatnot.

Property Ratings at Windsor House Apartments
Windsor house is a nice place to live, and the location is perfect if you don't need to use the metro often. The management is friendly and easy to work with, and they do a good job of responding to issues or questions. The pool on the roof is very nice, and the building is a good value for the neighborhood.
This apartment building and location are my favorite place I have lived so far. The building is well maintained and staff are extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. The roof top pool is beautiful and there is plenty of seating for residents and their guests, although it helps to get there in the morning. The front courtyard is a beautiful place to sit and chat with friends or neighbors. The location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes to walk to any of the bars or restaurants on 14th street and about a 10 minute walk to the U Street bar scene. Easy walk to McPherson Square, Farragut North and Dupont Circle metros. I walk 15 minutes to work every morning in Dupont. Highly recommend this building and location to anyone working downtown with an interest in being close to both work and nightlife.
From the onsite property managers to the maintenance staff everyone at the Windsor House is very nice & helpful. All maintenance requests are addressed in same day. The location is amazing! The only downside is the old building smell, but that seems to be the norm with old buildings in DC.
The perfect building for easy access to the best entertainment and dining DC has to offer, located just off 14th Street. A friendly staff, courtyard, accessible laundry machines, and large rooftop pool with a great lounge area and view make for pleasurable living. The unassuming exterior of the building is not a good representation of the overall experience of the Windsor House.
I will always say the best decision I have made in recent years was deciding to move into this building. On a basic level: -the building has secure access and feels extremely safe -the rooftop pool is fantastic and well maintained -there are two washers and dryers on each floor so I have never had to wait to do my laundry -you are walking distance to every metro line and steps away from awesome restaurants and nightlife -the studio apartments are a good size for the price and location -utilities are included so i never have to worry about my bills changing each month On a deeper level: -the front office staff are wonderful and willing to go out of their way to help you from bringing large packages up to your apartment, to helping find a space for guest parking -the maintenance crew is the best I have experienced because they get things done right and very fast -they host resident events almost every month so you always have an opportunity to meet more people if you want to -the apartments are well maintained and updated My place really feels like home to me
