Located in southern central Mississippi, the city of Brandon takes up about 21 square miles and has a population of nearly 16,500 people. The city itself is known for its rich history; even before the official settlement of the area, this was a very popular site for Native American activity. As such, there are actually a number of sites in the city that are on the list of the National Register of Historic Places. Furthermore, the city is widely-known for its theater productions, making it a popular destination for those who want to catch a live show or play.
Overall, Brandon is a great place to live whether you are an individual or have a family; its relatively low crime rates, diverse culture, and booming economy make this an in-demand place to live as well. As such, finding rental properties is not always easy. It is best to start looking sooner rather than later if you do not want to end up on a long wait list.

Property Ratings at Windsor Lake
I am resident of the Windsor Lake Community. Let me save you the hassle and trouble as my experience here has not been pleasant. The unprofessionalism that the office staff displays from the regional manager down is so unacceptable. The office staff does not answer the office phone ever. There are rarely ever any follow ups regarding matters that should have been taken care of prior to me signing my lease (leaks, malfunctioning cabinets, loose door knobs, the list goes on). Along with unresolved matters not being taken care of, you will be charged unnecessarily fees with little to no explanation. Even with renters insurance, I was charged as if I didn’t have any and do you think I have been refunded my money.. NOPE! The lack of communication and unprofessionalism is what has cause this apartment complex to suffer. No one is on the same page. Please do not stay here. Save your money and go where you feel valued.

I couldn’t have picked a worse place to live if I tried! It’s quiet enough and I love how close it is to shopping, but that doesn’t even begin to make up for the agony we have been put through since moving here. For example, our bathroom ceiling started leaking around 11:30pm on Friday, January 30, 2020. I called emergency after hours maintenance and the guy shows up over an hour later just to tell me nothing can be done until Monday. The ceiling leaked all weekend. We had to stay in a hotel. They finally come “fix” the leak and leave a gaping hole in the ceiling which was finally haphazardly closed up and spackled over with the painter saying he would return the following week to sand and paint. He has yet to ever show up again. A few days after the hole was patched, the leak started again. I put in a maintenance request and followed up with a call to the office but it, once again, took over a week for maintenance to come check it out. Now the hole is back in the ceiling but I guess at least it’s not leaking anymore (knock on wood). Again, this has been going on since January 29th. It is now March 26th. We have been patient and understanding, but they took advantage of that and continue to inconvenience us. Management and maintenance has had ample opportunity to make this right and now they want to look at me crazy when I tell them I’m done being polite and patient. They need to get rid of some of the absolutely useless office workers and hire more/better maintenance. I have asked management multiple times to pass along my info to corporate and I have also given a call to corporate myself but I have yet to actually speak to anyone. It seems corporate is just as awful as the management here. Once you sign the lease, they do not care anymore. Additionally, there is always garbage all over the ground and the outside trash cans and dumpster are constantly overflowing. The entire place needs updating as far as plumbing, paint, fixtures, etc. This is supposed to be our home. All we wanted was to have somewhere to feel comfortable and safe, but this is not it. If you are even considering these apartments, do yourself a favor and RUN!!!
Do not waste your time on this place! My parents have been in bad health conditions due to the continuing leaking of the windows and the constant mold in their house for 10 years. They have not removed the mold and my mother is still sick!Stay far away from this place
Getting repairs done in this apartment is like pulling teeth. Less than a month after being in the apartment, our bottom lock on the doorknob to our front door would not unlock from the outside, so we were only able to use the dead bolt, which was also difficult to lock and unlock from the outside. Maintenance came and replaced the doorknob. However, it was with a doorknob that had no lock. It was June 26th before we finally had a doorknob that locked. (The original request was put in on May 13th.) We have also continually had issues with our AC. It has always run at least 4-5 degrees higher than it was supposed to. Now, whenever we run it, it freezes. We have put numerous maintenance requests in and it is still not fixed. At the moment, it is cooler outside than it is in our apartment. That is unacceptable. My roommate had not slept in her room in over a week because it is too hot. We have been told we have a leak twice now. No one has done anything to fix it. All they have done has been to pump the unit with Freon. The last time they did this, the unit never truly cooled down. The lowest it got was 76 degrees. By the time we got home from work the next day, the unit was frozen again. I was told last night to turn the unit off completely. So now we are living with no air whatsoever. Needless to say, I do not plan on staying here. August will be four months into our lease and we are counting down the days until we can get out.
I enjoy living at Windsor Lake. The location is perfect for me and the area is kept clean. I live alone and have never felt unsafe at night taking my trash out or walking my dog. They have a walking trail that surrounds the lake which I see people using a lot. Office is prompt with my requests and maintenance is friendly and efficient. For the square footage and price it’s a no brainer.
The closets are like bedrooms good view I like it could just press like because I do to mostly the Windsor lake review s for life
Where do I begin?? I had been searching for a place to stay and somehow I wandered upon Windsor Lake Apts in Brandon, MS. I did the application online even before I came to see the apartments because even online it seemed to be just what I wanted. Well, I got approved for the apartment. It wasn't until then that I came to see them. I was blown away!!! These apartments are EVERYTHING and even more of what I wanted. The community itself is so clean, quiet, and the lake is absolutely beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have a 2x2 and it is perfect!!! There is so much more space than what I actually need and know what to do with. Every room is spacious; the kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms and the bathrooms are HUGE compared to those little "boxes" for bathrooms that are normally in apartment homes. Everything here is just amazing. There are two HUGE pools with grills so that you can bbq, as well as beach umbrellas to keep you covered from the sun. They are a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get as the saying goes. It is also very convenient to everything. The complex is located right off the interstate so you have quick access to neighboring towns and stores as well as restaurants. If you or anyone you know is looking for an apartment; I HIGHLY recommend Windsor Lake Apartments in Brandon, MS. You will not be disappointed!!

I actually love this apartment complex. It's very big and spacious. I feel safe there and often get out at night to walk the on-site lake. The staff is nice and helpful and repairs are made promptly. No loud noises or music, everyone seems very respectful of their neighbors. It's close to major restaurants , grocery stores and shopping. I would highly recommend Windsor Lake, Brandon J Moore, Brandon, MS
Windsor Lake is a beautiful community with an amazing and friendly staff. The staff believes in accommodating the needs of its tenants. The property is beautiful with a gorgeous lake and lush grounds. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. I would recommend Windsor Lake to anyone.
I have been living at Windsor Lake Apartments in Brandon, MS for almost a year. The lake and grounds are very well kept and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the cost is appropriate. However outside of the buildings are very outdated and could use some painting. There is a train track right in the back of the complex and it's very busy!!! If you are a light sleeper do not live here because the train will wake you every night. Office management staff is below average, they lie and are very rude! The less you have to deal with them the better. God forbid anything breaks down, maintenance is HORRIBLE!!!!!! There are only two maintenance workers for this huge complex. They respond late to calls and half fix the problems. The outside air conditioning units are over 18 years old and are replaced only when one goes out per the maintenance staff. Overall the neighborhood is quiet but I will never live here again. Too many maintenance issues.
I've lived here for five years now and, so far, I'm very pleased. It's in an excellent location. It's close to the middle of Brandon, it's right off the interstate, so you can get anywhere you want to go very quickly. The apartments themselves are very good quality. Every room, including the bathrooms, is very spacious. I almost never hear the footsteps of my upstairs neighbors or any sounds from the apartments next to us. The staff is very friendly and helpful, maintenance is fast to respond and does a great job. Only complaints: the public grills at the pools are pretty disgusting. I don't think they've ever been cleaned.
