Windsor Lofts at Universal City

Living at Windsor Lofts @ Universal City has been an outstanding experience! The beautiful surroundings, well-designed apartments, and peaceful atmosphere make it feel like a true home. The management team is attentive and responsive, and the maintenance staff always goes above and beyond to keep everything in top shape. Windsor Lofts is a wonderful place to live, with a strong sense of community and an environment that perfectly balances comfort and convenience. I couldn't be happier with my decision to call this community home!

The leasing office staff and maintenance team are very helpful. Being a dog friendly complex is great but some pet owners or their guests do not pick up after their pets. Also at weekends, the smell of marijuana can get over-whelming despite this being a smoke free environment.

Really enjoying living in this property. The property team are attentive and swift to help you with any issues. The building is well maintained, it is a great location and just really happy with my decision to move.

Windsor Communities has been a great choice for our living arrangements over the past decade. We recently moved from out of state where we were living at another Windsor property. Arriving at the Windsor Lofts @ Universal City was a calming piece of our cross-country move. The property manager (Nuria) is incredible, and she goes above and beyond to ensure we had a great move-in experience. The property overall is exactly what we expected with another Windsor property...well-run, beautiful setting, excellent location, and full of onsite amenities. Even the maintenance staff onsite has been quick, experienced and friendly to complete any work orders that needed to be submitted. We have been very happy with our choice at The Windsor Lofts @ Universal City!

Leasing and manager is awesome and responsive. Maintenance is slow has an attitude when you tell them something isn’t completed correctly and does a half completed job.

The staff really cares about the maintenance and neatness inside and out. They are more than wiling to help when you need it. Communications are timely and informative. I truly enjoy living here with my kitty

The staff and maintenance team at Windsor Lofts I have been absolutely amazing. I moved here knowing very few people and the staff has really made me feel welcome. They have been a big part of my experience and me calling Windsor Lofts my home.

The entire staff has been extremely pro active in accommodating my move in needs. They are definitely hands on. The amenities have been well thought out. I'm sure to be very happy here.

I’ve lived at the Windsor lofts at Universal City for nearly 8 years. The quality of management and residents have ebbed and flowed but one constant has been the professionalism and care of the maintenance staff. Dean and Jason are timely, knowledgeable and excellent in their maintenance work.

The community is marketed as luxury apartments, but the apartments were built with low end/cheap materials and low end appliances. The cupboards dont even have well made shelves. They are cheap shelves that rest on the removable plugs rather than being a solid, built in shelf. Cars are often broken into in the secure garage. I often see cars waiting for someone to drive in and then follow them in. Poor security. Current management and staff are great and quick to respond to issues. Rent is way too high for the quality of the apartments and the security of the building or lack of.

The team is always quick and thorough, has ever only been smooth sailing whenever I need help.

The location is great, maintenance staff is always helpful and appreciated and management isnt bad but the quality of life has really gone down in the last year and a half or so. Again, its starting to feel like an overpriced (and unsafe) dorm.

The two maintenance men are so responsive and helpful. They always come with a positive attitude and communicate with me if things needs to be done the next day due to parts that are pending. They finish the job within my apartment within the day or two at most. I appreciate how thorough they are and how much time and care they put into making this apartment great!! I appreciate them a lot :)

Good building, great location, excellent staff and maintenance, most convenient access to all of LA. Love the layout and space in the loft 2-bdrm. Noise on Lankershim a problem, but eliminated on interior apartments.

Staff and maintenance crew are great. Always helpful and professional. Apartments, hallways, and garages are consistently well maintained. Has been very quiet since we moved in.

I enjoy the quietness of the complex. I wish that the homeless tents were not so close to the complex and the neighborhood. One evening I walked up and there was someone homeless sleeping on the steps.

Dean has been extremely helpful and kind when I was having issues with my air vent. I ran into him in the hallway after I put in my request online and he took the time to help me and see what was going on. He's a pleasure to have around the building!

The location of the building is fantastic but also management has been very helpful in everything with the building!

Our overall 3 year experience as residents at Windsor Lofts has been great! The management is professional, kind and courteous, yet appropriately personable.

The team at Windsor is very responsive and always tries their very best to resolve any issues in a prompt and friendly manner. The maintenance team is also truly wonderful - very friendly and hardworking.

I LOVE my apartment, my neighbors, my park, and intend to remain here indefinitely. Windsor is my home. (In fact, I've lived here since the building originally opened in 2007, before Windsor purchased the place.) I only hope rents come to reflect realistic, attainable rates allowing us to all remain safe, sound and secure for the immediate and on-going future.

Never have a concern with the maintenance here. Last thing I had to have fixed was done very timely and I never even knew they had come.

We have lived at Windsor lofts for 9 years and consider it home. The property is always clean and very well maintained. Staff is courteous and any issues are addressed.

Windsor lofts is a nice community Ive lived here almost 3yrs. .Windsors office staff Lisa and Britney do a great job they are friendly and they both do what it takes to get the job done. Ive even seen Britney taking care of packages after hours to ensure there safety. The maintenance staff is the best Ive ever seen. Both Dean and Jason are extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of this community. They are very caring and make sure to address any maintenance issues you have within a couple hours. My ac was out one time and Jason actually installed a window unit for me until he could complete repairs. The community is kept very clean. Windsor lofts is locates in a very quiet area of studio city very central to everything thing you would need. I know this sounds like a sales pitch but its just how things are here.

This building and the staff no matter what are committed to taking care of the residents and the property with the utmost in care and they do so in a utterly courteous and friendly manner. i cant imagine living anywhere else, Dean, Jason, Lisa and Brittani are A-1 Community leaders and they are the epitome of what makes living here feel like home. I am so appreciative of them daily. Thank you for having such a high caliber for the people you employ to care for the community that we live it.

Windsor loft is a great place to live the maintenance staff is always quick and on point. Everybody is really nice and helpful and always accessible when you need anything at all. I've lived here for three years and I plan to stay longer! Very happy here.

The staff has been reliable and as friendly as ever during these stressful months. Whether younger tenants (teens and 20-somethings) are wearing masks and taking appropriate precautions is another matter all together, because they haven't... at ALL! For example, I was waiting for the elevator the other day by the mailboxes... a young guy (about 25) came to the door. He looked somewhat familiar. I had a mask on. He didn't, but I didn't want to be rude. So, I let him as the elevator arrived. He walked in and right onto the elevator. I stopped and said, "Where's your mask?" He laughed and shook his head. "Well, I'm not getting on." He shrugged and took the elevator alone. Half hour later, same guy was coming down in the elevator as I was about to get on again (on the 1st floor, by the Leasing Office). I said, "You again! Where's your mask? I hoped you ran up to get it!" I hate to complain, but... how the heck do we contain this thing when these guys are making us even more susceptible? I've seen a total of 5 people since this thing occurred. I have MS, and it's advancing--as it's likely to do with stress. And I'm scared to death. Clearly I won't be letting cheeky folks without masks, or that specific guy and his pals, into the building to be "nice"again. I'm seriously concerned it will cost me or anyone of our wonderful neighbors their health or worse! I understand denial is a component of this crisis we hadn't bargained for, but let's suppose for a moment (if this is your mindset) that its all true. People are getting sick (I've personally known 12 people to die of COVID-19, all of varying ages and fitness). Have a little respect. If not for me and those of us who aren't in denial, who are doing our best to avoid getting this thing... then show a little respect yourself! As I understand it, there are fines for NOT adhering to this basic public health protocol. I'd appreciate Windsor in helping those of us in the community from anyone who may put us at risk, including against the virus. Thanks for listening... Be safe! ; )

I really love the patio and all the windows in our apartment. Staying at home during quarantine isn't so bad with all these nice features.

Windsor locks at Universal city is a great place to live. Everybody is very nice and always helpful. The building is always clean, but even more so during this COVID-19 era, the staff and maintenance have gone above and beyond and the building is absolutely sparkling clean and disinfected! Always a great job. I plan to renew my lease and stay a while :-)

Finding Windsor Lofts was legitimately like a dream come true. Couldn't have been a more perfect fit for what I was looking for and where I was looking to live - and the staff has been extremely helpful and kind! It's a beautiful place inside and out and feels like home.

Its always clean. The staff is responsive and friendly. Also, the security guards are always on staff...
