My family moved into Windsor Park Estates and we are thrilled with our apartment ! The suite is lovely, beautifully updated and was clean and sanitized . The women in the leasing office were professional, caring and nice. Maintenance staff visited our suite once for a tiny repair and they were quick, clean and eager to please . Very happy …you will be happy too !

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!! This is by far the worst place to live and the office is even worse. This place just wants to take your money and don't care about their residents. After calling repeatedly for over a year to get the carpet cleaned they did nothing, washers and dryers break at least once every few weeks, plenty of apartments in the neighborhood smell like weed, the people in the office are lazy and never helpful, maintenance team try's but they are also inept. Plenty of better places to live around the area.
I have been promised in case of relocation due to a new job offer to be able to break the lease or sublease with their help. Such flexibility was gone out of the window when I came with an offer. They denied all that when I had to move, horrible experience. Don't believe a word they say when you sign or renew a lease. Management is unfriendly, unless you a potential new tenant. They do not want to help you with your issue.
I have live here for almost 2 years and in that time I have had contact with our Maintenance people often when walking my dog. The have also been in my home for various things. This is about Chris, Vernon, Dierre, James and Mike, our Maintenance Crew. (there are a few new people who I don’t know). They are the best group of workers and individuals. I thought about moving a year ago. I read reviews about other apartments and some of the places I liked best had unhappy comments about their maintenance. I don’t know if people realize how important it is to have a good maintenance staff. Our staff is efficient, considerate of our homes and surroundings, extremely nice and very good at their jobs. It’s a good time of year to be grateful and I am grateful for these gentlemen, Deb and the office staff, who are all wonderful people. We are lucky to have them.
Management is unfriendly, unless you are a potential new tenant. They do not want to help you with issues you may have regarding the unit you live in or issues with the facilities. Biggest issue we had was car break ins and slashing of tires. They were suppose to hire security, but never saw any patrols and it happened a few times throughout the couple years we we were living there. The women in the leasing office favorite saying is, we will get to it soon. One of several issues we had was with the garage door. We couldn't get the car out for two days because it wouldn't open. They are lazy and only want to gossip during the day. Be aware when moving out, they will charge you for any small thing and will not be getting any deposit back. For example, we just moved out a couple months ago and got charged $20.35 for a cracked butter dish and $35 for saying our shower tub was dirty. We spent almost 8 hours cleaning the place before moving out, knowing that we may be charged for extra expenses. There are several other apartments and townhomes nearby in Fairlawn/ Montrose area. You may want to check them out first.
We lived in Windsor Park Estates for almost 3 years and hated it! The leasing office and maintenance staff were lazy and unwelcoming with delayed responses most of the time. The townhouse was overpriced, and bills were all high, surprisingly, for such a small house. We had noisy neighbors, they parked their cars and they had their friends over all the time, day and night, plus their cars all jamming the small drive into the tiny parking lots, that was pretty much the summer. They used to walk their dogs on our lawn in front of our house, and they never cleaned after their dogs. We decided to take care of the issue ourselves, and we did confront them few times until they stopped. It was supposed to be a family-oriented community, but that was far from that. If you're looking for a good place to rent, stay away!
At first, we loved it- great townhome in the perfect location, but that didn't last long. As soon as anything goes wrong, dealing with the management there is horrific, and we couldn't wait to get out. Things were okay until our washer broke mid-wash with all of our clothes locked inside of it. After calling for days, maintenance finally came and said it was broke, which we knew. We had no washer and dryer for a week until they gave us keys to an empty unit, but that washer didn't work either and we had to ring out soaking wet clothes by hand. Every time we called the office, they acted confused and rarely did they apologize for the delay, some of the women in there were very rude to us. Our clothes were growing mold and affecting our allergies, and it cost us hundreds of dollars to replace the damaged clothes. They eventually broke the washer open weeks later, and the maintenance man told us, "why didn't you call sooner?" when we had been calling almost daily for over two weeks. They could have broken it open weeks before and saved us hundreds of dollars in damaged clothes. They did nothing to help with costs, cleaning, or the physical distress we were put in for breathing in mold for so long, not to mention the smell of the apartment once it was finally opened up. We moved out early and paid off our lease, yet they tried to bill us for not giving a 30 day warning (which we gave more than 60 days). If you communicate with management here, make sure to use email and save proof of everything, because they will try to screw you any way that they can. On top of all that, they tried to bill us MONTHS after we had made our final payments and had vacated prior. They returned our deposit, then sent us a $300 bill over 3 months from when our lease ended. When they sent the bill details, they said it was the carpeting in the living room (our main floor had laminate, no carpet!) so then they changed the details to say the "upstairs" carpet. Of all the places I have lived in the past, this by far was run the most terribly and I sincerely hope that they fix their horrible system. Very disappointing that we spent so much money to be treated like garbage by both the on site management and GMS. The townhomes have so much potential, but the lack of effort and sincerity from the office has ruined it for us.
I have been promised in case of relocation due to a new job offer to be able to break the lease with their help. Such flexibility was gone out of the window when I came with an offer 2 years later. They denied all that when I had to move, horrible experience. If you would rent with them make sure to archive everything through emails. Plus too many safety issues in that area. Once I was exercising in the neighborhood with my wife, a car came out of a driveway so fast, took a crazy turn almost hit me, had to jump as they do in the movies to save myself, it was dark and we could collect any info about the car. Another time, 7-8 police cars once showed up surrounded an apartment near us on Mull ave, that night it was too much for the kids, they couldn't sleep, we stayed up until they arrested someone and then left. It was hard to explain all that to the kids. I regretted living there every day until I moved out, go to nicer places around all better than this hell. Although Windsor Park Estates' rent is probably one of the lowest in that area, which matches the quality of their service, it was not worth it at all.
Overpriced for the quality. Everything breaks. Maintenance is the worst thing about the place. In less than a year and a half I had to have them come out for repairs at least twenty times, most of the time for things they did improperly initially. At one point they fixed one of my kitchen drawers by just screwing the face of the drawer back on - screws visible and everything. Management isn’t personable. I had mail stolen by a neighbor and I contacted the office about it by phone and by email - I didn’t even get a response.
Great place to live. Friendly neighbors. The staff is on point. Quick, respectful, and a pleasure to speak with everytime. Almost 2 years here and not one complaint. If there is. They're here in less than 5 minutes also very quick to get here in emergency situations after hours like the heater breaking in the middle of winter or I just lock myself out. They care and are here for you. Special thanks to Susan!
I lived in Windsor Park Estates for 2.5 years (2014-2017) and loved it! The leasing office and maintenance staff were all wonderful and responsive to concerns. I loved my townhouse. You very rarely hear your neighbors through the walls, the neighbors are nice, and there are a lot of families with well behaved (if exuberant) children. The rent is a bit high but you also get what you pay for plus I had a cat. I only moved because of a job change and an opportunity to buy my own home. If you're looking for a good place to rent I would definitely check this place out!
I lived there for about a year and a half and had a very good experience! The staff was always very accommodating and any maintenance issues were always addressed quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone moving to the area. I had a updated place and it was all new granite and cherry wood, very clean looking and no issues. Cant stress enough how awesome the staff is at the office!
I loved living here... Beautiful townhouse and great neighbors!! I have met some amazing people while living at Windsor Park Estates. The leasing office and maintenance staff are some of the friendliest people I've met and they have taken care of all my issues in a timely manner. About a month after I moved in, my dryer was making a terrible rattling noise and maintenance fixed it the very next morning. I also had a bee issue outside of my place and within the hour, maintenance along with the company who takes care of pests were there taking care of the issue for me. I worked some long hours and have had to email the leasing office (since I'm at work when they were open) and they always replied within 12 hours. The entire staff has always been friendly and very understanding! I was very sad to leave there but so glad to know if I ever move back to the area, I will live there again!!
I had a very small window of time to find a 3 bedroom rental for my family of four due to selling our home faster than expected. Windsor Park Estates fit the bill, and were able to have a 3 bedroom townhouse available for us right on time. The property has a playground, picnic area, beautiful pool, and well-maintained grounds. I was a little put off by the fact that I could not see our actual unit until the day of move in (there was a model for touring, however). I was very pleasantly surprised that our unit was in much better condition than I had imagined. New carpeting, new stove, freshly painted throughout, and cleaned bathrooms. We have had a few minor maintenance issues since move-in, and the office and maintenance staff have been wonderful and responsive. The area around our unit is completely quiet, so far. Very pleased with our choice to live here!
I checked one of the townhouses. They seem nice. They are a little bit small but I love that there is a washer and dyer in the unit. There is a lifeguard on duty which is really nice. The staff was friendly. The garage was a good size. Seems like a nice place to live.
the apartment communiry is very good, the staff is kind and patient to help me.the department is comfortable, clean.Service is also very good. the enviroment of the community is also good,no noise. there is goog high school near the community.shopping is also convenient. The rent is rational.both my child and me like here.
The buildings and community look very nice. We like that medium/large dogs are welcome, and a private garage as well as a washer/dryer comes with each townhome. If you are only looking for a one bedroom to save money, this shouldn't be what you're looking for. If you're willing to pay a good price for a nice package and humble space, this seems like a good fit. There are monthly promotions when signing your lease, and the staff are quick to respond to email/phone messages. Also located near (not right off, but fairly close to) the highway.
