I recently lived at Windsor at preston for about a month, and I’d like to share my experience regarding safety and cleanliness issues. Safety Issues: During my stay, I encountered several safety concerns. the garage door /entrance door lock was frequently problematic and did not provide a secure feeling. This lack of attention to safety left me feeling quite unsettled. Cleanliness Issues: Cleanliness was also a major concern. The hallways were often dirty with trash stains/odor. This cleanliness issue significantly impacted my comfort and overall quality of life in the apartment. Overall Impression: In summary, while the apartment itself had potential, the safety and cleanliness issues greatly detracted from my experience. I would recommend that the management address these concerns to improve living conditions. Currently, I would hesitate to recommend this apartment to prospective tenants until these issues are resolved. Final Thoughts: I hope my feedback helps future tenants make an informed decision. For anyone considering moving in, I would suggest closely inspecting the apartment and discussing these potential issues with management before signing a lease.

Overall I like the floor plan/layout, vinyl floor throughout of cleanness. kitchen is beautiful with gray cabinet, large farmhouse sink with tons of drawers and storage, plus food pantry. Its pretty quiet at night. Outside of the unit, the carpet hallway is dirty and with strong odors d/t spilled trash. one of the main elevator and garage entrance door out of order for awhile, door access to the garage the key faucet broken not getting fixed.

Some things remain broken for months on end. Elevator has been broken for weeks. Was just informed it could be broken for another 6 weeks because of their vendor. My “luxury” apartment has now become a 4th floor walk-up during the hottest months of the year. Same thing happened last year with the pool, it was closed the whole summer because of their vendor problems. Also the garage door is often broken for weeks on end. The on-site maintenance staff is helpful and speedy, but for things handled by “vendors” you will be severely disappointed, especially given the cost of this place.

I absolutely love living in Windsor Preston apartments! From the beautiful design to the convenient trash service, parking, and great location, everything is perfect. The maintenance and management teams are also fantastic. However, I do have a few concerns. Firstly, the carpets in the hallways are pretty dirty, and some neighbors are disrespectful and leave trash or pet waste on the carpet, especially in front of my apartment door. This is quite unpleasant. Additionally, I feel trapped in my apartment due to the neighbor living below me. They constantly knock on the ceiling even if we just walk, which is annoying. Apart from these issues, I'm very happy with my apartment and the management team.

José and Wilson quickly fixed two issues. One issue I had been dealing with since the last maintenance team was here, and was not fixed. This time everything was fixed swiftly and with efficiency. Thank you both!

The building is disgusting. I chose the apartments because they were newer and advertised as “luxury” apartments. The hallways always smell disgusting, always has the smell of marijuana and trash. The furnishings inside the apartments are cheap. For the price I pay monthly, this place is not worth it. I have never had a problem with management or maintenance. They have always responded quickly when I have called. But I just feel like this place is gross. I will be moving when my lease is up. I wouldn’t invite friends or family to come into the building because I’m embarrassed by how disgusting the hallways are.

I love love love my apartment! Literally everything is perfect from the light fixtures, to the counter top, and my apartment even has a half bathroom! That is what did it for me! Too bad the apartments aren’t for sale because I would totally buy it! I love my Pool view and my balcony size! Everything is perfect!

I’ve really enjoyed living here at Windsor preston so far, I’ve been here a little less than a month and have enjoyed becoming comfortable settling in and decorating my apartment for fall and Halloween. It’s nice to see that the downstairs amenities are actually used by residents (pool table, speak easy, chairs etc) and although I haven’t ran into many people, it seems to be a friendly and diverse community with small families, young working professionals and some elders who are all respectful during the week when it comes to noise and parking etiquette. I know I have a next door neighbor but if it wasn’t for the decor on their front door I truly wouldn’t even know there was someone next to me because the shared wall seems to be pretty insulated compared to other apartments I’ve lived in where in the past I could hear someone’s full personal conversations and even them splashing in their bathtub. This is a very nice complex, you can tell the front office cares about the appearance and happiness of those living here and even those visiting. From small things like Air freshener in the hallways, tide laundry cleaning services offered, built in wall speakers in the unit, really nice/expensive appliances & in unit newer model whirlpool washer/dryers (not the same generic black and silver stoves/microwave/dishwashers you usually see in every single apartment complex) and quick emails just letting you know an elevator is down so you don’t waste your time walking to it small details like this set Windsor preston apart from other complex’s. The maintenance man seems really friendly and the times I’ve seen him he shared a nice smile and wave:)

Windsor Preston is conveniently located near Legacy, Frisco, Prosper snd Allen. The staff is very professional, kind, snd respectful. The maintenance team outstanding. The amenities are top of the line. I believe the walls are sound proof. I enjoyed my 2 years the property. It is well maintained and security is excellent. Thank you do much.

Best apartment
have been living at Windsor Preston since November 2020, I love the community and location. The meeting rooms are private and with high-end decor, the rooms have large windows that bring in a sophisticated atmosphere and natural light. The gym is well equipped and the pool and Bbq area including bike stations are splendid. everything in this building was carefully thought out. I appreciate the staff, I'm not familiar with the new staff but “Cassie at Windsor Preston” God bless her. She was there for me at my darkest moment. The maintenance team is faster than a bolt. You place a ticket and in less than 3 hours they are at your doorstep fixing your problems. I appreciate your good customer service and the empathy you have for Tenants.

trash always laying around the facility, and extremely poor communication from property management leadership. unit not as described, and filthy upon move-in, which was already delayed several days due to it not being ready. would NOT recommend, especially for the price.

Dirty and Disappointing...
Unit filthy upon move-in date, and not as described. Trash always lying around the facility, and garbage room usually a mess (see picture), leading to cockroaches. Repairs around the building go unaddressed. Parking can be difficult, unless you like parking outside...not worth the $$
