Windsor South Congress is a great place to call home! The community is well-maintained, with a friendly atmosphere and convenient access to local shops and dining. The staff is responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and pleasant living experience.
I think overall this community is really great. I feel like I live in a nice place and I never feel unsafe here. There are a few things in which I would like to see improved, but overall amazing job.
It is an amazing community; making it my new home was easy and the staff was accommodating.
Great apartment complex. my only complaint is the smells of trash inside the building.
Everything for the most part has been great. The leasing staff is all super nice. Everyone around is friendly, and the grounds are well taken care of. Responses are quick and prompt too! Truly, I have one small concern and one large concern. 1st, it doesn't seem like anyone actually follows the trash rules on our floor. There are always trash cans outside and it looks a bit trashy. The 2nd biggest concern is our car got broken into in less than a month of living here. I know there isn't much that can be done with regards to that, but it is just rather unfortunate. Anyways, thus far the pros far out live the cons and this is a massive improvement over my prior living situation so for that I am still grateful.
Pay far too much for the properties incapabilities to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner. The property manager is seldomly available to resolve issues.
Maintenance at Windsor SOCO is consistent and friendly. Shout out to Shawn for fixing everything so quick.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! If you are planning to move in, I highly recommend reconsidering your decision. Now, if you like to party and be disturbed by your neighbors until 4 am, this is the perfect place for you. We moved in 2 months ago and have already experienced several loud parties with people screaming and super loud music. We have reported this to management more than 4 times, and nothing has happened. It’s a very bad community, not to mention there is dog poop everywhere you go.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the team at Windsor SoCo. Maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner and the front end team is very communicative.
While I wouldn’t say the building is as nice as they claim it to be, the staff is. The staff is amazing and truly seems to try and help as situations arise. The maintenance team almost seems to go out of their way to say hi as I drive by. It really is incredible and they make the experience living here feel very welcoming.
Everyone inside leasing office has been attentive and shows care for any concerns and or questions I may have .
I've been living at the WIndsor for 6 months and I've had an great experience. The Windsor is in a prime location, has excellent amenities, and the staff has been extremely nice. Phaolina has been very helpful anytime I have needed any assistance with something she has always been there to help me with a smile and great attitude.
Excellent location, halls are clean, I really like how it doesn’t smell like trash either considering we put trash out there and overall this community is beautiful and maintenance is awesome!

Overall, the leasing office did an excellent job making sure that I had the perfect apartment home for me. I'm very thankful for their patience and help.
Every time I have to put in a work order the maintenance guys always come by and fix everything in a timely manner and efficiently.
Worst management I’ve ever experienced. I worked here for 8 months, don’t care about their employees just as much as they don’t care about their residents. I can’t get a parking pass for someone watching my dog and my family, when any other community luxury or not can give a temporary one like it’s not that hard. They have a script they always tell you the same script which doesn’t solve any of the issues, someone tried breaking into my apartment at 4 am last week and no one emailed me back to resolve the issue and this happened to many other people that night. Cars being broken into, gate never works, doors of the complex are always open. Definitely leaving this place when my lease is up :).
This complex is NOT safe. How it's rated a 4.8 out of 5, is inaccurate. There have been car thefts, break-ins, mail theft, all of it, with little to NO improvements made towards residents safety. Do not live here if you drive a nice car, and don't plan to purchase a garage. The amount of cost compared to the LACK OF SAFETY is appalling. Also expect rental rates to increase 20% minimum year after year, with no reasoning.

Management and maintenance staff went above and beyond to help me get an oversized package to my apartment. Staff continuously ensure that packages left unattended in the mailroom by carriers are secured in their office for pickup.

I've been really pleased with how quickly the service team responds (even after 5). Very quick, nice and professional.
Submitted a work order over the weekend and maintenance was quick to respond on the following business Monday. Luis was excellent in helping fix the issue as well as giving me tips on how to avoid it in the future if I ever need to travel. Overall, I have been very pleased with the maintenance services at Windsor Soco!

I have truly never been happier with an apartment community. Everyone on the Windsor Soco team has been amazing and the size and quality of my apartment is shockingly good. And as an added perk - the residents are really friendly :)
We were moving from Chicago to Austin, so it was a big move with a lot of stresses. Leo, Gina, Sophia and the rest of the Windsor South Congress team made the move so much less stressful! They ensured that we would be able to get our keys and get into our unit even though we wouldn’t be making it to Austin until after the office was closed for the day. We were greeted with such a thoughtful welcoming gift. Since moving in, we have truly felt right at home. There has been a team member to help us with anything we’ve needed along the way. And between our unit, the pool, the dog park…and all other amenities; we can’t get enough!
I love Windsor South Congress. The amenities are amazing especially the pool! The other residents are nice and so are the staff!
Apartments with a lawn sound great. It’s a swamp. It took me documenting flooding outside my apartment for 24 days before they escalated it. I’m still waiting for it to get fixed.
Seems like there is always something broken here, from the gate, to the elevators, to the appliances inside the units. Trash pickup people refuse to take out the recycling and the front office still won’t give me a code that works to let guests through the gate. There is constant construction and noise across the street and the unbearable constant droning of I-35 in the rear. The parking spots are miniscule and you can expect to be hit by other car doors constantly.
Love the community. Office is friendly. Maintenance is always on top of it. Clean community and really nice amenities.
Sophia was amazing to work with. I had a lot of questions regarding move in and set up. She was always quick to response to my concerns. Also, when I went to turn in my apartment checklist before move in, Gina asked if there was anything major of my concern. I shower her an image of the carpet, (I just wanted the spots on file so I wouldn't be charged upon move out), and she said they would have maintenance go in and deep clean before I moved. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the spots out, so Gina managed to have my carpet replaced the next business day which was amazing. Overall it has been a great experience. Love it here!
The Maintenance dept at Windsor So Co is EXCELLENT! For non-emergency requests, they respond within 24 hrs. If you make a work request first thing in the morning, they usually get to it the same day or within a few hours. If you've ever lived in a Building with horrible Maintenance and bad Mgmt, like we have, you will never leave this place.
Last week our storage room was broken into, office had no real solution. Even after requesting to have the locks switched to a more secure system they refused. The door locks are magnetic so they aren’t safe. If you want a nice pool and easily accessible home to break into then by all means move in. The office will be the sweetest until you move in, after that they’ll treat you rudely. The manager is combative at best. The two units I’ve lived in both had defective hot water heaters and the ac can’t even effectively cool a 700sf apartment. I’ve lived at two other properties I’d recommend them over this place any day. Don’t get a yard, it’s a mud pit and they’ll gladly dig up and leave a mess for you to clean. I cannot stress this enough that if you want a safe cooled apartment then don’t move here. You’ll be a disappointed as well am. Also there’s not enough parking and the lot is tiny so drive extra slow unless you want a accident.
Trying to get a response from the team is very difficult. Calls and emails frequently go unanswered, even on time sensitive issues. When emails are finally answered, you typically only get half of the answers you asked for and have to follow up again to get more information. This is extremely frustrating as a resident. Most of my questions take only a minute to respond to, so I'm confused why it takes days or even a week plus. Hoping this changes.
