Property Ratings at Wingra Point
I lived here for three years, in two different units. Overall, the place is great. The property is well maintained, I liked the peacefulness of the neighborhood, and the management has been good. When I lived on the Fish Hatch side of the building, I decided to switch to the other side of the building because Fish Hatch was a very loud street. Especially because it seems to be a preferred ambulance route into Madison. Also, I like the neighborhood, but it is not improving in a way that’s good for general public. Meaning, no new restaurants / businesses / bars / etc. Only new medical facilities and luxury apartment buildings.

These apartments are in a great central location, with a nice coffee shop and great places within easy walking or biking distance. There are lots of nice perks, including a great bbq patio in back with plenty of seating, two reservable community rooms, and a rooftop deck with views of the lake and capitol. The landscaping and common areas are very well maintained and staff is friendly.
I am approaching my one year anniversary and have extended my lease at Wingra Point. Competitive in cost with other buildings of its kind, it has many extras that give it a sense of home and enjoyment...a lovely outdoor patio and rooftop exterior, a game room, a gym, free coffee in the morning. The blond exterior with floral landscaping makes it very attractive. This midsize community, located in a residential neighborhood centrally located with easy access to the entire city, is a gem. It is convenient to medical, educational and social venues with a great coffee house across the street and walking distance to a local grocery. I appreciate how the courtesy and responsiveness of the staff. Everyone feels welcome.
