Property Ratings at Winston Apartments
This website is how I found this apartment complex. Was an awful experience for 2 full years. Pest problems, loud neighbors, rude and incompetent. Refused to repair items in the apartment. Just save yourself the stress and don't live here.

I’ve lived here for 3 years, and this will surely be my last the mouse problem has gotten out of hand, you see a mouse almost every day now. Nobody is taking the issue serious, they lay traps In places that you don’t even mention you see the mouse in.

Calling in for an emergency maintenance request is like talking to yourself. These guys sit outside all day doing absolutely nothing but talking to each other meanwhile it’s ongoing issues that need to be resolved. I have been calling in the same issue about my AC not working EVERYDAY for the past month and STILL no one has ever even attempted to come by to even take a look at it.

I signed my lease in May after having the longest application process due to the credit bureau. I moved into a filthy apartment (meaning they had more than enough time to make sure the apartment was ready for me and my little family). Meaning I couldn't bring my kids (5 months and 1 year old) home for about 2 weeks after. All the appliances in said apartment was not cleaned or sanitized before I moved in. The floors are beyond uneven as if you're walking cobble stone with two different color tiles on it, after a month of complaining it's replaced with carpet(the floors are still remarkably uneven but looks a heck of a lot better). I requested a new stove in May when I moved in (my stove had grease stains rust etc. Inside the broiler section and the oven) and just recently got it in July. All while management acted like they were doing me a favor fixing what should've been fixed before I moved in. I hate living here, this is the absolute worst rental relationship I've ever had. They have a pest infestation roaches, silverfish, mice, spiders, etc. And no they don't make accomodations or courtesy discounts at all, you pay your hard earned money for filth and people to play with your intellect as if they don't know what's really going on. Maintenance suck, they NEVER do what they say they're going to do. They also did work in my apartment and left the work area a complete mess. I shouldn't have to double back behind grown men doing their job, I don't get paid to do that. The leasing office always try their hardest to make you feel comfortable but eventually it won't work because maintenance don't hold their word and slack. I called for an emergency about my AC not working on Saturday and was told that they would put in a ticket. Then was told today Monday when the leasing office opened AC's aren't an emergency and no ticket was put in. Although we had a weather advisory this weekend for a heatwave. I'm sick of them playing with my intellect and my money, I work too hard.

Was nice years ago but very poor now. Rent keeps increasing, mice in walls, not enough parking spaces, have to pay for water/sewage, slow maintenance. Not recommended
The water pipes are so un-insultated. You will only get up to eight minutes worth of a hot water in the winter, & if the tenants do not run their faucets. The pipes will freeze. The units are infested fleas, bed bugs, & silver fish inside the walls. There is no central air system. The air unit, in the wall, is basically a hole to let the outside air & dust in. The office managers are poorly trained in customer service, & will not inform you of all of the rules of the lease agreement for moving out. If you have a package coming to you expect to travel to at least a mile to other holding places, until you're ready to recieve your package. They do not have enough spaces to park in, for their tenants. They believe the mantenance people have a right to enter your apartment without your knowledge, or permission.
I have been a resident at Winston Apartment for 7 years i have enjoyed my stay here. Management staff has always been friendly, maintenance staff comes and fix your problem usually by the next business day. I've had to call the emergency maintenance number a few times that was handle in a prompt fashion. The apartment grounds are cleaned on a daily basis. The only thing I ever had a issue with would be parking. The only reason I'm moving is because i want to be closer to work but I'm moving to another one of your properties.

Winston apartments are located in a quiet peaceful are of North West Baltimore. The Winston community is rather small but it very upbeat, friendly and welcoming. The office and maintenance staff make sure that the tenants are their number one priority and assist you with your rental needs as soon as they're aware of any problems.
I LOVED everything about the apt .my only problem was they did not except small dogs only cats. really hurtful..
Lovely place - decided on arrangements closer to work so I can walk but overall would recommend.
