Winthrop West is a great community with affordable prices to boot. The staff here are wonderful and have so far been able to accommodate us for most of the issues we’ve had since moving in. The community is conveniently located with many grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance which elevates the overall experience. I would recommend living here to anyone in the Riverview/Brandon area.
Everything is as nice as pictured. Everything in my unit was brand new. The staff is incredibly friendly and greet everyone by name when you see them anywhere. The maintenance staff are amazingly responsive and also always have a friendly greeting when you pass them. Thr rent is very reasonable and the abundance if treeless bring welcome shade on hot days.
Winthrop West is one of the best communities I’ve lived in.You feel at home and there service is excellent.If you are looking for a refreshing and relaxed environment.Come tour Winthrop West??
This community has a wonderful, friendly, competent, and responsive staff. It feels so safe to live here. There is an easy access to so much nearby - Publix plaza across the street, Walmart Neighborhood store next door, banks, restaurants, and charter school across the street.
There was lots of room for me and my family we enjoyed our stay very much can’t wait to come back next time would recommend.

We have been at Winthrop West for about two months now and have loved our experience. The ladies in the office are always willing to help! We haven't had to put in a maintanence request but Anthony, the maintanence manager seems very knowledgable and we know we're in good hands. Call me crazy… but Winthrop West has the BEST pickleball courts in the area. I love this sport so much and am so thankful to have this amenity so close to my apartment. I found this apartment complex a little over two years now and enjoy living here. The Cortland management team ensures a comfortable living standard and evidently screens its tenants quite well. The area is superb. At least 10 supermarkets, more restaurants than you can think of, hospitals, medical facilities, gas stations, schools and major stores are all within walking distance and less two miles away. I like it here.

They on site staff is awesome. If that is important to you then this is the place to live. If your concern is the property as a whole this may not be the place for you as the Corporate (off site) team and the owner have no regard for the property or the residents.

Make sure they dont get you for the insurance. I showed proof of full year payment of renters insurance at signing of lease. Now they are trying g to fine me for not having it when I paid a full years worth up front. I showed documents!

We have some of the amazing maintenance guys. That will go beyond to help you if they can with a situation as quick as possible. I have put in requests for things they had to be fix it and found out something else had broken the meantime they tried go ahead and fix that while they're there if it reasonable easy fix. I never had to wait long for him to fix anything in my apartment.

Winthrop has been a great experience. The apartment is lovely and extremely clean. Fresh paint, etc. the floor plan makes great use of space.

In my four (4) years living here, I have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Great maintenance staff and office personnel even with the 2-3 management changes. Other people have written things like water going out. It has always been planned maintenance that you knew well in advance and it only lasted 2-3 hours. Living in Florida you know we have palmetto bugs. In four years living here, I have only seen a couple - shocking! I work from home and one thing I must say is that it has been quiet and peaceful living here. Lastly is the awesomely convenient location. Close to everything, restaurants, hospitals entertainment, grocery stores, and major throughways. I highly recommend checking this little gem of a place out. btw... I'm not a spring chicken, I've been around the block a few times, and know what I'm talking about - I'm 63.
