Thank you so much for your review. We are glad to hear you're happy with the location.
The apartment is very well laid out and all the appliances are in good shape. The management is prompt in fixing minor issues. I recommend this place
Overall, my experience has been very positive. The assistant building managers have been friendly and responsive. I love that I can walk to a wide variety of grocery stores, restaurants, and other retail shops, plus libraries and post offices are within short walking or drivig distances.
It's a quiet place. Close to EVERYTHING - Park and Grocery shops are nearby. The complex is new, clean, and super pet friendly! All the residents we met were friendly and considerate. And best of all, the units are quiet! The only sounds we ever heard were when people talk loudly walking through the halls.
The Parkhouse Apartments in Madison, WI are infested with cockroaches, flies, and spiders no matter how clean you are they will be present in your living space and will crawl over you as you sleep. You walk in and immediately are hit with a rotting stench. The hallways and indoor common areas look (and smell) like they haven't been cleaned in years. At move-in there was a maintenance person in the apartment that said I could not move in for another hour so I had to wait in my car until he was finished. Carpet was filthy and covered in stains, had to get the carpet cleaned myself. The balcony is dangerous, has rotting wood and sinks down when you step on it. Management doesn't care about you or the property as long as you pay your rent. Definitely regretting renting here but thought I would at least warn others before you think about signing a lease!
My apartment is definitely not the usual apartment, the man who built them didn't tear down land he built it how the land laid which is amazing. The new landscape makes the apartment much brighter ! My apartment itself is very spacious, feels like my second home when I'm away from my parents.
They ate flexible and always willing to work with you, but maintenance is slow to fixing things in the apartment.
