Property Ratings at Wolverine Crossing
I got a rat in my apartment and it took management two weeks before they tried anything! They didn’t act like they cared much when I spoke to them. There’s so much disrespect coming from management and there are too many ways they spring fees on you and the rent amounts are deceptive because they can change them whenever they want. They even sent out a technician to fix some things in my apartment, and when he said they were fine the apartment charged me for them all being broken. Very unprofessional. Don’t like here unless you like to be disrespected and also to have the ac turned on you in the middle of the winter so management can save even more from you.
literally THE WORST place to live in orem. I hope nobody lives here. I am allergic to cats and when my roomate brought home a cat, they wouldn't move me rooms, make her get rid of the cat or let me out of my lease. and it wasn't even a service animal or ESA. It was so miserable and unsafe to live there and management was so rude about it. They will do anything to get more money from you. one of the main reasons i lived here was for the pool which they wouldn't let us use without warning us either. I wish there was a 0 star option
I loved living here! Emma and the leasing staff/office are great to work with!
Just after my son signed for another lease for one year and upgraded to a private room the people they put him with were kicked out and so was he and he did t do anything against the rules. I had to continue to pay for the lease anyway. For 11 months. Beware. They write there leases in their favor. Check out another place First. Trust me. They are not fair.
You will significantly over pay for a tiny shared room, dingy + smelly carpets and walls, stained hallways, smelly elevators, the pools are constantly closed and not open year round. Rent is way too high, there is no available storage space, you pay for parking (and there hardly ever is any), poor location right next to geneva and the freeway so it can be very loud at night. air conditioning doesn’t work great. maintenance takes forever to respond to calls. staff are unhelpful/not understanding with issues/stolen property/lease concerns. the process for reselling your contract is intentionally outdated and useless to keep you paying regardless of personal circumstance (health, losing job, realizing how terrible these apartments are). just go on yelp and read the multitude of other bad reviews. do not waste your time or money.
Wolverine crossing has pathetic support. the leasing office would rather make a quick buck on top of your rent any way they can. If you leave your keys on break and just need a new set for a day 100 dollars or be prepared to be locked out. The room quality is just as bad my window didn’t shut properly letting cold air or AC out. Bathroom toilet ran constantly. Most of all though it’s the staff what a joke. The janitors however did a fine job just the service staff.
Positive reviews were from many years ago. Don't believe them. This place will almost charge you for breathing, got any problems then file a police report to protect yourself, do not ever talk to management because they will flip it and blame it on you. Then they will charge you for having a destructive drinking and illegal drugging roommate. They won't kick the guy out because that would mean they will lose the revenue from his monthly rental. You have to pay for them to come in and clean up the smoke in the room. What a nightmare -- Live Anywhere else but here.
My roommate was vaping and drinking. Went to management 3 times on the same day. 1st time they gave me a bottle of Febreeze and told me to spray it around and have a nice day. I Kept on them and finally management went to the apartment to verify my problem with living there in smoke and stuff. Then management told me I better stay away because the roommate might be angry that I had narked on him. Then told me it was $100 for me to move to different apartment. I can not sell my contract to anyone ... who wants to live with a substance abuse roommate. Don't have $100. I had to just get away from there and find other housing. Then I filed small claims cause they breached my contract because my apartment is unsafe to live in. They missed the court appearance; very unprofessional, said they had it wrong on their calendar. New court date is in September 2018. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Wolverine crossing is definitely one of the better choices when it comes to student living in Orem. They have a great sand volleyball court and a great gym. They also have a ton of events that they put on for the residents and there's always tons of free food that they giveaway at the events. The property is way social and every day during the summer there are people hanging out at the pools or on the sport courts. The greatest part about the property is the wifi is litterally the fastest in all Orem. The biggest downside I would say is that its not super cheap to live here. But what you pay for is what you get. Wolverine has a ton of commodities and the leasing staff is always super helpful and seem like they genuinely care about how I like living there. If you are looking for a great social college experience where you live wolverine crossing is perfect. Also they have the most visitor parking i have ever seen which is a HUGE problem at every other property i go to.
Honestly, really bad. I've never had issues with a housing complex before, but Wolverine Crossing has some serious issues. First off, I only moved in because I got a good deal. Because in the lease agreement, you sign away your right to a trial by a jury of your peers (I'm serious). Since I lived there (less than 6 months), 3 of the 6 people in my apartment moved out. 2 of us opting to keep paying rent at Wolverine, but live elsewhere. Management is powerless, they just enforce the crazy policies from the parent company. They have events all the time trying to get people to renew, and have called, emailed, and texted me about renewing my lease. They are desperate because turnover is so high. So few people stay. Also, prices are way too high to justify the housing. The gym is great though. So if that's literally the one thing you're looking for, this is a great option.
Please do not ignore this. They are stealing from you. So many things were faulty and broken in the apartment. Not to mention, they did not give me any roommates with guidelines I requested. Everyone does drugs and loves to party late into the night. LOUD. And rude. Horrible place to live. Please save yourself. Do not live here!

Looks nice from the outside but it's a dump on the inside. A/C is unreliable, and it almost always smells funny in the hallways and stairwells. Outdated kitchen, linoleum floors, and old gross carpet.

These guys partner with a towing company and aggressively tow cars that are legitimately parked in valid spots. When the towing company is confronted about it, they are insulting, abusive and could care less. Make sure you take pictures of where you were parked and have a copy of the towing laws with you and call the non-emergency police number when it happens to you or your children living at the complex. Record the towing operators while they verbally abuse you so you can provide it to the police. This is a common pattern that occurs with apartment complexes located near colleges.

If I could give this place -5 stars, I would. I have lived at Wolverine Crossing for about a year and a half now, multiple occasions I have had law abusing roommates, drug use in multiple instances with nothing done. I have had multiple times where management would not take care of the absolutely horrendous mold in all of my apartments. Furthermore, I recommended this place out of pity to one of my best friends, she was treated so poorly that she had to leave the grounds because of an unsafe environment. However I will say that there are times that the students in the front office have been super helpful with daily tasks, such as recovering lost mail and packages, they are definable nice in the office at the desks, but do not be fooled for the front of a book cover. I will be leaving this place at the end of my lease term due to health issues that i have obtained while living here, I have mold in my lungs and have been sick ever since I moved in due to roommates and the overall safety of my home. I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE ever again, this is the worst apartment complex I have dealt with in a long time.
I started out loving my apartment, but after a few months rent I realized it's a bit over priced! I pay 377 a month for a shared room in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The complex is large with a good social aspect. Overall if you aren't too worried about price the apartments here work great
I love living at Wolverine Crossing! The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The price for the apartments is some of the best in the area. I checked out a lot of apartments in the area and none of them compared to Wolverine Crossing. You definitely get your moneys worth here. The apartments are all very clean and the community is well taken care of. I also love how close it is to shopping and restaurants its in a very convenient location.
Wolverine Crossing is a great place for those that know ASL and are studying ASL at Utah Valley University. It's near campus and the bus route that takes you to campus and Frontrunner station is near the appartments! The appartments are decent size and the set-up makes living situations very livable!
My apartment here at Wolverine Crossing is great especially for being a student attending UVU. There are so many nice people to get to know , and I absolutely love the pool's and hot tub's!!!
Its better than nothing. They've given me and my roommate a lot of trouble. Losing paperwork delaying our move in date for their problems.
These apartments are perfect for students!! They are in the best location in all of Utah Valley, so close to the school and all public transportation! The office staff and the RA's are super friendly and they do events all the time! I have been here for going on three years and I really love it!
This place is great if you are ok having room mates, they give you an option if you want a private or a shared room. The benefits are amazing like having fixed utilities so you don't have to overpay for Internet and cable, or gas and water because they're all included in utilities! The swimming pools and hot tubs are great and there's areas you can study and there's a gym area too! Great place to live, especially if you're a college student!
