Property Ratings at Woodbine Living
They pay us to right good reviews and give us money off the rent. Mouses and roach and beddbugs infested. Mold in all closets. Loud busy street so I dont keep open window at night and sketchy people in parking lot a lot. The smell of marijuana is so strong and nobody cares if they get in trouble. My neighbors are constantly fighting every night and managers don’t care. Courtyard is a public dogs bathroom and parking lot floods during storms. The only luxury about here is my leather sofa I got ! Don’t waste your time or money on this dump!
“Newly renovated”, very cheaply renovated. There was bugs, leaks, can’t let water touch the walls or floor otherwise it stains. As well the noise of dogs barking from 4am to midnight is ridiculous. For the money you’ll pay you can get a actual luxury apartment.
This place has a a serious roach infestation in all of it’s buildings, you will experience them getting pushed in or visiting your apartment at some point of you living here. The exterminators know there’s a bigger issue, they say it when they have to come, management will not and probably cannot fix these issues while also still renting it to new people and lying to them that this is the best place to live. It’s also not Luxury living, that’s a lie. Some units are renovated, yes (meaning the stove/counter tops/fridge and bathroom has new appliances) - everything else is still disgusting, you still don’t have central air, your heat is still controlled by them, water leaks in the hallways during rain, the Laundry facility is disgusting, and when they took over as a management - they began charging a $40 water/sewer fee on top of what your rent is.
My family loves the size of this unit and the insane amount of closet space. Staff is great and so are my neighbors.
There is a major cockroach problem in all 3 buildings at the property, instead of trying to find an actual solution they put a bandaid on it. The exterminator comes, sprays and pushes the roaches into someone else's apartment. The grounds are horrible, there are overgrown bushes, trees and poison ivy in which the landscaping crew does not touch. Overcrowding is an issue, 6 people living in a one bedroom, 8 people living in 2 bedrooms. I was absolutely thrilled to hear about the remodeled laundry rooms that have washers and dryers that do not work. There was a lot of talk about the big changes but nothing of value was/has been done. They call it "luxury apartments" but I felt I was living in the slums while paying Manhattan prices. I am so happy that I left that dump. Oh and you'll have to pay for water and sewage, anywhere between $25-$40 a month (a random made up amount) while other residents don't. When you see the really nice signs that were recently put up just whip a u-turn because it's not worth it.
I love every single thing of living in the complex. The management respond quickly, maintaining the building is really nice, everyone is very welcome in helping their tenant. I am please to live in a community & apartment that make my life and my son’s life comfortably and at ease. Thank You so much to the management and their staff for your help and support. I truly appreciate it.
The office staff walks around and gets to know the residents. Were not just apartment numbers, we are people to them and that means a lot to my family and I. All around great place to live and people.
I wanted to give an update on my experience here. I've only been here now 3 months and I can truly say the management and the maintenance people here are amazing. Willy is always so quick to help. Any issue I've had ( all minor ) He came within the same day to fix the issue. He is always kind and professional. Roxy the property manager is just as sweet and kind as Maria. They are all always so quick to help and make sure things are addressed accordingly. They truly care for the tenants and the property.
Based on own and brief experience, apartment is newly renovated. nice and clean with tons of natural light. Admin Maria have been responsive for any queries before and after moving in.
ITS DISGUSTING they lie to you there's no service I've been here for 7 years and no one cares its a disgusting place and the amount of bugs there is its gross
So much nicer than any other place I have ever rented.
Disgusting apartments with bed bugs and roaches. Only some apartments are cheaply renovated.
