Adjacent to Trenton and bordering the Delaware River, Ewing is a large township that contains the College of New Jersey and the Trenton-Mercer Airport. The township began as part of Hopewell Township and was settled by colonists in 1699. The oldest building in Ewing is a farmhouse built in 1717 by William Green, one of the area's first settlers.
To get a sense of how the area must have looked to those early colonists, visit the West Branch of Shabakunk Creek, located near the airport. This natural area covers more than five miles and played a vital role in the Revolutionary War's Second Battle of Trenton. Another great location to visit after moving to a Ewing apartment is the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail, which extends along the river. The trail is 77 miles long and is popular for hiking, bicycling, jogging, and horseback riding.

Property Ratings at Woodbrook House Apartments
How do the 3 reviews, each 1 star, equate to almost a 4 star rating?! I went to view this complex yesterday and it looked incredibly dreary- outside and inside the hallway. There was no one to talk to in the office as well. I had high hopes based on the pictures posted on this site- nope!
This place is a real inhumane place to live.. The place is dirty There are no air vents in the bathrooms so mold is everywhere and you may get sick. Hallways smell outrageously disgusting. Fire alarms goes off at random times of morning moon and night and there’s never a fire. Just alarm system being randomly triggered and they neglect to solve the problem. This has been going on for years. There are rats In basement. Insects are also everywhere. Laundry Facilities- Very dirty No Property Manager on Site Elevator-disgusting Pool- no pool Not able to use for over 4 years. Tennis Court-A blatant lie non-existent there is no tennis court here Gated-it is not gated. There is just a gate up in the back
The only positive thing about this apartment building is all utilities included. Now for the bad, 1. There is NO pool. 2. This place is not clean, the hallways, stairwell, basement, around the parking lot, the front. It's dirty everywhere. This place smells awful. 3. This place has RATS, not mice, RATS running through the walls, some have died in the walls. 4. There isn't any security. The side doors are rarely ever locked or closed. The front entrance is constantly unlocked. The cameras are useless. Packages have been stolen, the other tenants who are bad at parking will scratch or hit your car. My car was hit and when I asked for them to check surveillance, never got back to me, only to find out from other tenants, that the only camera they care about is the front camera or the one in the basement facing the leasing office. 5. Heating is not controlled by you. Once it gets cold your apartment is freezing, buy a space heater. 6. Water is constantly getting shut of from 2 hours to 8 hours randomly. They do inform you ahead of time, but this is an inconvenience. 7. Parking, there's barely any parking available. Some of the tenants will park illegally in handicap spots. 8. Children running through the halls or being left unattended. I've seen kids playing in the lobby area, late at night with no adult supervision. 9. In the spring/summer time this place attracts a lot of flies & centipedes. They're everywhere inside your apartment. 10. During a snowstorm, you might as well call out of work. Snow plowing arrives late and your car will get stuck in the snow. If the only thing your looking for is a place with all utilities including only, this place is for you, but if you need cleanliness, safety, peace and other nice things, RUNAWAY from this place.
The entrance way is very cluttered and dirty the halls are not kept clean. Elevator is disgusting. Inside the apartments they are not kept up with When carpets need to be replaced or rooms need to be paying it. Not a high-quality apartment complex at all. Definitely would not recommend children being in this apartment complex. Not very safe with some of the comings and going’s. It’s Covid Now but the pool hasn’t been able to be used for years due to repairs that have never been made. The apartment surroundings are not very clean In appearance doesn’t look nice. The security is terrible.
