In many ways, Arlington’s Clarendon/Courthouse neighborhood leads a double life. On the one hand, the mix of upscale single-family homes and swanky apartments combined with the super-convenient access to Washington (just a mile away and served by multiple Metro stops) make this an ideal location for DC-area commuters seeking a more suburban home environment. The abundance of parks and playgrounds reflects the family-friendly nature of the community, and the local public schools are among the best in the region. Parts of the neighborhood also contain several corporate high-rises, giving many folks the option of walking to work.
However, Clarendon/Courthouse also has a lively, fun side. The neighborhood is generally known as the nightlife capital of Arlington – the robust bar and club scene along Clarendon Avenue attracts partiers from across the DC area on weekends.

Property Ratings at Woodbury Park at Courthouse
I was supposed to receive a call back and email on Monday after speaking to them the prior weekend via phone call on Friday and have tried calling back to begin my application process. No answer whatsoever. They also informed me it was going to take 3 weeks just to move into the apartment. Kind of ridiculous.
Believe it when I tell you, this is the WORST apartment I have ever lived in. If I could give them zero stars, I would. It is a waste of money in a place where you will not feel comfortable or safe. I do not know anyone that enjoys living here. 1. They won’t tell you this, but the entire building is infested with mice. You will be dealing with mice everywhere in the kitchen, bedroom, ACs, I mean everywhere. 2. Management doesn’t care at all about the residents. They are incredibly rude and uncooperative. 3. The AC and heater always have issues, and we had situations where the AC is off in the summer, and the heat is off in the winter. 4. Maintenance requests take forever. After calling and emailing them for days/ weeks to the leasing office, leasing finally sends someone to come down to your apartment. 5. The utility bills are incredibly high that they do not tell you this when you sign your lease. They split the bill with all the residents in the building, and I’ve seen this at other apartments, but the prices are never this high. The last bill I had was over $200 for my one-bedroom unit. Do not waste your money on this apartment! No name change or new manager is going to make a difference here!
Think twice before renting here. They are very slow at responding to any requests: it took them two months to get rid of mice, four months to have all the kitchen appliances work, they ignore your online maintenance requests, even when you go at the office person nothing changes. Cliff is the only reliable person.
The only redeeming quality about this apartment complex is its location. I lived here last year and had many issues. 1) Maintenance didn't respond to numerous unit maintenance issues 2) My car was towed from my parking spot for no reason and management refused to advocate to the towing company on my behalf and never even followed up with me despite several conversations - $175 down the drain and a missed appointment due to having to retrieve my car 3) My apartment building had an ant infestation, I'm convinced the exterminator didn't even come in my unit. I've never had an ant issue before or since. 4) Packages were routinely stolen or broken into, which is a federal crime. 5) The hallways and common areas of my building were disgusting. Invest some money in the stair wells and walls for pete's sake. Stair pads were falling off the tracks, the walls were missing paint. Management does not care about their tenants or upkeeping the premises. Avoid at all costs!!
Went a month without heat because maintenance wouldn’t respond to my requests. If you lock yourself out on the weekend or even after 5 on Friday don’t expect to be able to get in because management doesn’t work on the weekends and 24hr maintenance don’t have keys. Also a locksmith is unable to get into the doors. If you repeatedly have issues with your unit that can cause a risk to your health instead of placing you in another unit, they’ll just continue to try and “fix” the issue. It’s nearly impossible to get in contact with management because they’re barely on time or in the office. It’s just so much that needs to be fixed. Do not recommend at all.

Thank you for your time. We are disappointed that your experience resulted in such a low rating. We’d like to know more and invite you to stop by our office or give us a call at (703) 528-3625 when you have the time. Thank you.
The apartments look great, but unfortunately the management is chronically unavailable for critical issues. I opened tickets for roaches, rats, and issues with appliances and never heard back in a timely manner. Additionally they promise access to the gym but never provided access even after repeated attempts to get it corrected

As a resident of Woodbury Park for the past 2 years , this is really a good place to live in Courthouse area - walkable distance to Trader Joe's and Whole food , 2 minutes away from several metro stations , 5 minutes drive to DC downtown plus the reasonable price - cannot complain anything . The management team is amazing , especially Mrs. Nieves De La Cruz - so friendly and willing to help anytime , she would always listen to your voice and make things easier and convenient for everyone ,what more is - she and the management team would always hold some food party or event for all the residents during the holidays which make people gathering and happy together. These humane services made Woodburry park so incomparable and I highly recommend this great place to live !

I have lived in six different complexes in Arlington across the past 13 years and I thought Sheffield Court was the worst, but this one is close. I have never written one of these, but I want to share my experience just so others get a full picture. I moved in thinking this place would be great. Then I went to do laundry for the first time and there were towels and who knows what else in my washing machine. No apology, no explanation. As others mentioned I also had a mouse - ran across my kitchen counter, ants, and cockroaches. There is also not enough parking for everyone - people hold spots, some make them up and are somehow never towed? To be fully honest, no living situation is perfect, especially when you rent and I understand that. But then, I had a package stolen. Not just a package - my maid-of-honor dress for my sister's wedding. All the packages I ordered for the holidays arrived safely, so when the dress had to be shipped I figured it would also be fine. I had a confirmation from Nordstrom it was delivered and an email from UPS saying it was delivered, but it was not there. First I tried UPS to track it down and they only had a delivery record. So I went to the management office. The first women cut me off and said they do not accept packages and she could not help me. When I went back a second time she actually checked, but nothing. She did tell me there are cameras around to record those kind of things. I asked for the footage to confirm delivery (since UPS had the time on their confirmation). After at least four emails and phone calls it took filing a police report to get the footage. In plain sight, there is a UPS delivery person holding a box at the time noted on my delivery. They did nothing. Not that I expected them to pay for it, I understand there is a risk when having things delivered but, no one apologized, no one offered to do anything, no one expressed any concern that something of mine had been taken. Nothing. That was it for me. Since all buildings are code entry, someone knowing the code took a package that was not their's. The lackadaisical response and lack of ownership (as I said - the person knew how to get in) were just not acceptable to me. Again, I know everyone's experience is different. This is my story. PS- Nordstrom was amazing and sent me a new dress without a charge.

They literally hang up the phone when we call. We’ve had 5 already and I’m listening to one ravage my laundry closet right now. This is a 3rd floor apartment. Do yourself a favor and live loterally anywhere else.
I moved here in April and at first I really liked living here. The location is great and the renovated apartment is very nice. However, maintenance takes forever to respond to requests and management is horrible. I reported seeing a couple roaches here and there over the summer and asked that my apartment receive treatment so it wouldn't become an infestation. They never treated the apartment and now we are seeing roaches every day. Since our downstairs neighbors moved out last week, we see at least five roaches every time we turn on the kitchen light. And it has nothing to do with our cleanliness. I sweep and wash the kitchen floor every night and bleach the kitchen counters every time after cooking. No matter how clean we are, the roaches still come. I will definitely be moving out after my lease is up. I had to buy roach killing gel on Amazon and I plan on doing the treatment myself. It's absolutely disgusting.
This is the most poorly managed apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. It’s impossible to find parking, mail is stolen often, they make absurd requests for maintenance and fine you if you don’t comply, they tow cars by mistake, and the gym isn’t open unless the office is open. You might as well not even have a gym at that point, people work. Only live here if you enjoy sleeping with spiders and bedbugs.
They've redone the interiors but the service here is still awful. Expect problems not to be resolved and simple fixes ignored. So happy to be leaving here soon!
I have been here just two days and this is what I have to tell about the Woodbury park apartments at courthouse. The moving day everyone is supposed to get a clean apartment where I didn't. Unit was full of spiders. It is spiders territory .Aren't they suppose to check and clean the apartment before giving to new tenant. I have paid more than 1000$ bucks to sleep with spiders. And when I went to the office they are telling I have to wait until Tuesday which means another 5 days I have to sleep with spiders. Please don't waste your money and stay away from this apartment.
The Good: I really enjoy the new interior finishes of the apartments in this complex. Windows on both sides of the apartments to allow maximal lighting. The location can't be beat too! Maintenance is very responsive to work orders. The Bad: 1. Parking is a hassle but this could be due to construction. During the day time, it is very difficult to find parking; often times, the construction workers take up spots beyond what they're allocated. More often than not, I have to park next to the dumpster in the evenings (on the opposite side of the apartment complex). 2. Another issue is how responsive the emergency hotline is for the complex. A neighbor of mine got locked out of his apartment and waited for an entire day (and night) to get let back in. The phone number given did not work and when we finally reached a representative at the contracted call center, she could not get a hold of anyone for a few hours. 3. There are some interesting characters who live in this apartment complex. While I don't feel like I need to be constantly looking over my shoulder (I am a man in my late twenties), the other tenants do seem to be a little rough around the edges. Even though the complex is pretty well-lit in the evenings, I would still be cognizant of your surroundings. 4. Facilities look nice but are inaccessible if you are working. No key fobs are issued. I feel a little cheated in being shown stuff that I can't even use. I will re-review if things improve.
I am a new Woodbury Park residents and so far I have been highly satisfied with my new apartment, the facilities and the service of the offices staff. The apartments are spacious, modern, and because of the renovations, all of the appliances in my apartment were brand new. The location is great as it is close to both Courthouse and Clarendon metro stations. I wish that the fitness room had slightly more convenient hours, but for joggers and cyclists, the complex is very close to the Arlington Blvd bike trail. Rent prices are reasonable for the area, especially considering that they throw in free parking. The staff has always been very accommodating and helpful whenever I have questions or concerns. Highly recommend!
The office staff was incredibly helpful as I made my move to Woodbury Park. In particular, Jilka was attentive to my concerns and was always able to provide a prompt response. The interior of the newly renovated apartments rivals any apartment complex in the area. I'm excited to see the what the rest of the grounds look like once all of the renovations are finished! Easy walk to either Clarendon or CourtHouse.
Just moved into Woodbury Park apartments and cannot say enough good things. The apartments are newly-renovated, so we have brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. Just a short walk from both the Courthouse and Clarendon metro stops, so right in the heart of everything. Very friendly and helpful office staff. For the location and quality of the apartments, the price is hard to beat, too!
Newly remodeled buildings, very nice hard wood floors, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances for a very fair price in Arlington. A short distance to Clarendon or Court House metro and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and bars. The agent int the office who "helped" us seemed a little bit clueless when we asked him basic questions, but overall, the apartment is nice. Only complaint is the walls between the other apartments are a bit thin, so I can hear my neighbors baby crying. For the price and location and design, I'd give this place 7/10.
