La seguridad es muy mala Este ano hemos sufrido 3 robos: 1.- Le robaron la camioneta a mi hija 2.- Le rompieron el vidrio trasero derecho del carro para robarl el interior del vehículo. 3.- Rompieron el vidrio trasero izquierdo para robar el interior del vehículo. El apartameto se inmundo porque exploto una tuberia del vecino y solo pintaron la humedad. Los electrodomesticos todos son muy antiguos y consumen mucha energía. Los embajes donde se deposita la basura siempre estan llenos y hay malos olores.
Besides Maintenance is slow, indoor jacuzzi looks dirty I haven’t had any problems. I mean yes it could use an upgrade, but overall for the area and price It’s durable. My neighbors are all cool. It’s pretty diverse everything pretty much works.
My appointment got flood due to a water leak in the apartment above me. This was no small flood the water poured from the light over my bed soaking my mattress and carpet and water was coming out of the ceiling and walls. My mattress and anything on my carpets where soaking wet. My newborn son had surgery scheduled for the next week and we could not stay in our apartment for 4 weeks due to mold growth I found the night of the flood. The manager told me my apartment was still “livable” with the mold and water damage. I could not stay there with a pre/post op baby while there was still mold growing on the ceilings walls baseboards and carpet. It took management 4 weeks to finish getting work orders out to get my unit in half decent condition for me to move back in and I’m still expected to pay full rent even though I could not live in my apartment for a month and they did not replace my mattress or carpet. All the did was spray bleach over the mold while bleaching any of my personal items that where below the area. They flattened and painted over water damage and only used and carpet cleaner on the carpet. They also left rust stains in my carpet from their dehumidifier they only used for a weekend so we bought our own and 6 weeks later are still emptying it twice a day. Sunshine Corporation sucks and I will never live in their apartments ever again. Counting the days till my lease is up.
The trash in this apartment complex is rediculous! Always overflowing and always piles of trash around the dumpster and always furniture sitting out! The grounds keeping maintenance is terrible, the see it and leave it, these dumpsters are on the streets of where you live so it’s near you door and makes the whole apartment complex look like the hood! In fact there’s been a lot of burglary and multiple wheels stolen of people cars here!! I feel like I’m in the hood, yet this supposed to be cordova
This is not a good property to live at. I literally have ants everywhere, and made contact with the management regarding the issue on several occasions. True enough, they will send out contractors to spray, however the return on investment is short lived, as the ants return. My guess is that its due to the age of the old foundation. Appliances are also outdated, as you will see old stoves, refrigerators, and washer/dryer sets. Its 2020, please update living conditions accordingly.
absolutely horrible!!! They don't care about your safety Cars were broken into Apartment was broken into And their response is that it is our fault for moving in!!! Its their job to make us feel safe and they dont. Please don't move here. Sunshine corporation doesn't care about nothing just the money.
When I moved in 2012 it was basic, affordable, quiet community. It seemed as if people lived here for years and it had a lot of older tenants. However over the last few years, things have gotten out of hand. Theft is a huge issue here! Someone stole audio and dj equipment from an apartment in the broad daylight. If there are “security officers” who are riding through the complex...how does this happen? They would send the same letters that were saved from a typewriter (they don’t have computers) for us to be mindful BUT they did nothing to beef up security. The last straw was when someone managed to steal ALL FOUR of my factory tires and rims from my car that was parked outside of my apartment...while I was sleep. Again...WHERE WAS THE PATROLLING SECURITY? That’s not a 5 minute job! When I informed the apartment maintenance...Laura stated that “they will never have real security and this is Memphis”. They were not sympathetic of the issue and I didn’t even get a “sorry that happened to you”. Stay away from Sunshine Corporation! They are terrible business people and have some rude, cold people working for them. If u want to feel safe and secure. AVOID!
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. The place is a dump. Ran by poor management, poor security with horrible response time. I have lived here two years. Instead of inform you of the crime, they try to sweep it under the rug and it's easy to do until you become a victim of it. My apartment was broken into, they busted my window. It took them a week to get it fixed. They half way out a piece o ply wood to cover it up. The old appliances in the units work when they want to and management doesn't care to get them fixed. I advise you to stay away from hood chase.
I have been here 4 months and I agree it's convenient to everything as far as businesses. You would think the amount of money generated the apartment would not have outdated appliances and old bathrooms. Someone has to spray weekly for bugs they need to change their vendors because they not doing the job. It is quiet for the most part. Rooms nice size closets run small. I had to get a larger apartment just to put my clothes and shoes. The price was not too expensive for all the amenities. I may stay another year if they eliminate the bug problem.
I love it here. I've lived here for a year and it's been one of the best places. it's nice a quite in the back. Granted when I did have neighbors, I could hear them yell but other than that, it wasn't that big of a deal. Never had a problem that I couldn't handle. Everything I need is on one road and it's close to work. I live alone so it's perfect and I call it home.
While the apartments are quite maintained and maintenance is pretty good with responding to request, there are just some things not consistent. The price is ok for the area especially being close to many shops, restaurants, and a major mall and the interstate. The only complaint I have is the hidden fees and being charged for normal wear and tear when you move out the apartment. Additionally, if you have a maintenance issue that's after hours you will be charged if they send someone out because its not their normal maintenance staff which can really add up. The move out fees include carpet cleaning, paint, etc., which I consider normal wear and tear for apartments that should be done after you move out no matter what. So you don't get charged a deposit but you will have to pay for wear when you move out.
I have been living at woodchase for about 6 months now. The walls are very thin but that's the worst thing I can think of. You may have to spray for bugs every once in a while. There are 3 pools and a lake, that's pretty cool. The apartment is in a good location. Its near the wolf chase mall area. There are plenty or restaurants and local activities.
These apartments got alot of pros and cons. I think they need to do alot of work update these apartments. I think they need to change some ways. They do work with you and good on maintenance
