Property Ratings at Woodhill
I lived at Woodhill Apartments for a year, and overall it was a decent experience. Pros: Balcony (on the 2nd floor). Size: I had a good sized living and dining area, and the bedroom was decent sized as well. Central air throughout the whole apartment Views (out of the bedroom at least I had a gorgeous view of the woods!) Price: The rent is very reasonable, and the cat rent isn't too expensive. Although I didn't renew my lease, the rent didn't go up too much at all after my first year. Plowing: I never had trouble with the parking lot not being plowed. Appliances: I had a new stove & dishwasher when I moved in. Cons: Maintenance was a pain. I had a couple issues when I moved in and it took weeks to sort out. The heat wasn't even functioning when I moved in (luckily it was in September). They also said my deck would be stained within a week of moving in, and it finally just happened a couple months ago (and not even on the date they said it would be) The overall cleanliness of the buildings themselves wasn't all that great. The entry hall and hallways would often be dirty. The apartment below me had a really funky odor for a while, so much so that I could hardly have my windows open in the spring. I did have issues with ants in the spring, and saw them in the hallways as well. The dumpster is right out in the parking lot, and people aren't exactly the neatest with their trash. The smell is not so super either. The security isn't the greatest. There's no deadbolt on the door, and anyone can walk into the buildings. The staff was OK. When I first signed my lease, things were a bit disorganized. Never really interacted after the lease was signed, except for attempting to get maintenance done. Overall, you get what you pay for.
