Property Ratings at Woodlake Village Apartments
Several buildings have ROACHES and have had ROACHES for a long time. The owners need to fumigate thoroughly and they do not. Complaints made all of the time and nothing done. DO NOT RENT HERE.
The place is so bad, the steal cars, strangers come and smoke weed in the hallways, laundry facilities, roaches everywhere. management does not care, the owner the same. I lived there for over 4 years, they stole my car this year from there management never shared the concerns with the tenants. I told all my neighbors to be careful and keep watching for their cars. Not safe to live there or park your car. they canceled the security service that we use to have during night time from 12 am to 6 am.
I have lived here for two years. In two different buildings each time. Both buildings has had roaches. Several tenants are not well maintained people, and I have seen maintenance use rakes to clean out apartments when someone moves out. Maintenance orders take months to fill, I had a broken front door for three months, and as a single 21 year old woman I found that unacceptable. Office and maintenance are rude and will cut any corners they can. This is pretty well priced, but you get what you paid for.
Very solid and well-built. Not like other places advertizsed as "luxery" but that seem to be made of cardboard under pretty fixtures. Woodlake Village is sturdy inside and out. Office staff is friendly, respectful, and professional. Along with maintenance staff, they respond quickly and efficiently. Wonderful trees and green space. Woodlake Village overall is a nice little diverse community. And the price cannot be beat.
To me, first impressions are everything. When I went to their rental office, I was rubbed the wrong way, two times. First time my fiancé and I came in ? We were told if one of us doesn’t meet the requirements, the other one of us could be an “authorized occupant”, as long as the other one meets all of the other requirements, which my fiancé did. That was fine, but when we went back, to turn in our applications, we were told something different. We were told that BOTH of us had to meet the requirements, and the lady in the office was very rude and unpleasant to talk to. It seemed like they were fishing for ways for us to have our applications denied. It doesn’t make any sense to me- why would an occupant need to meet the requirements. If they meet the requirements, wouldn’t that make them a leasee?? The apartments are decent. They’re very affordable and located in an alright location, but the office staff is horrible and I couldn’t see myself doing business with them.
So far the experience has been great!!!! I'm glad we have made the decision to move here!!!
