Property Ratings at Woodlake Village-Waterpointe Apartments
I've lived here for 11 months and was so happy at first. Within 2 weeks of moving in my hot water heater busted flooding the whole kitchen(which isn't their fault). The plumbing company they send out was disrespectful and took a week to replace it. I was left without water for 2 days, and no hot water for a week. I complained to property management and she didn't care, she offered me a complimentary carpet cleaning and went on with her day. I've had a constant pest issue since moving in(mostly ants and roaches). They send someone out to spray and they just keep coming back, nothing ever gets done about it. Maintenance constantly covers up issues instead of fixing them so it's problem after problem. I had mold from a water leak in the bathroom, I alerted maintenance and they came and just painted over the water damage and told me they "fixed" it. I had to complain and complain to make them come back and completely cut the mold from the wall and replace it. The people that live here are nice ( in my building), but there is constantly sketchy things going on in the parking lot( people just wandering around looking, people screaming and fighting, i've witness multiple drug deals, etc.) The price might seem perfect for this area, but i promise it's not worth it!
Terrible property management!! Noise issues are terrible to the point where police have to be called because property management won’t intervene. Tennis courts are in terrible condition. Property management barely respond to any of request made and intentionally ignore you and make snarky remarks when you speak out. They lie and don’t hold up parts of their contract.
I like the layout of the Cedar floor plan that has two bedrooms and a loft with a bathroom. Total of 3 bathrooms. You can use the loft for a third bedroom, but it doesn't have a door to the room entrance. You can't find an apartment with 3 bathrooms anywhere else in Chesterfield. The apartment needed repairs when I moved in. I am still waiting for repairs that were requested over 2 months ago. They only have two maintence personnel. I can hear conversations of my downstairs neighbors from my bathroom. We can hear the neighbors cussing at their children in the adjoining unit to the master bedroom. I constantly hear neighbors slamming their front door that causes me to jump each time! We hear loud music and cussing every weekend from our downstairs neighbors. We can smell marijuana smoke in our apartment from our downstairs neighbor. If you want peace and quiet; or reasonable responses to maintenance requests, then don't move here! The tennis court in the apartment complex has pot holes and is unusable! The roads and parking lots are in disrepair! The location is great! The Woodlake trails and access to the Swift Creek Reservoir is wonderful!
I lived here a couple years ago and moved out of state. I'm moving back and hoping to get back in. This was my absolute favorite place to live! The office staff was wonderful and the maintenance guys were always so attentive. Nice community, and a great location. Crossing my fingers to get back in!
In the beginning of residing here, I was quite fond of the location and community. However, the quality of life in the neighborhood has been on a downward slope. There are residents who continue to let their elementary school-aged children to roam the complex after hours and they are almost never an adult in attendance. Which leads to these children stirring up trouble leading to a safety concerned to other residents. There is a newly employees maintenance staff member whom lets her two children (male and teenage female) roam the apartments and cause havoc on other tenants. I feel this is very unprofessional of the staff member. These issues that occurred was brought up to the leasing office’s attention however this seems to not be a concern for the office since they have taken no action to ensure tenants feel safe. I’ve always recommended living here but my mind is quickly changing.
The complex itself is nice. It is kind of small and narrow to drive around in and to park, and not so big on the inside. There are also a lot of stairs.
I have lived here for almost a month. My family and I moved here because my husband got a promotion. We moved from a pretty large house so the size has been an adjustment. Our apartment is a two bedroom with a loft. Because of the loft area with the storage closet we have been able to bring all of our things with us and not get a storage locker. The first day we moved in there was a problem with the A/C unit and maintenance came within 15 minuets of my calling (on a Sunday) and fixed it. The views around the apartment complex are so beautiful and the walking trails are very nice. I have enjoyed both pools on the property as well. Everything is very well taken care of and the staff has always been very friendly.
The apartments itself are really nice, office staff are great and maintenance guys are very nice and respond quickly. Everything is kept up very well and we have access to a beautiful lake and parks. They also good free bands at that pavilion I holidays and special occasion. This place is perfect for families.
The office staff has been very helpful from the start. Beautiful apartment, don't hear any of the neighbors. Any small issues we've had got fixed immediately. I highly recommend these apartments
