Property Ratings at Woodland Creek
For the areas these were the best I’ve stayed in for years. No issues with rodents or roaches you will see a few spiders and Ants. I stayed in the units towards the front. Parking was good for the most part and staff was great. Due to unforeseen circumstances Personally I had to move and downsize or I’ll still be there. I’m really surprised how others experienced was different because now I’m looking for something else and every apartment have really bad things going on making it hard for me to decide.
They started off good but once they changed their name and new management came in everything went downhill. Which once was free now you had to pay pet fees. Moving in I had issues with washing machine and garbage disposal for 4 months before getting it fixed.
Worst Place Ever!!! Do Not Move Here. Staff is rude, unprofessional, unorganized and disrespectful. Maintenance lazy they come whenever they feel like it. They don’t care about you. Mold everywhere, bugs as well. Too many issues to begin with.
I came in to apply for an apartment during open house about 2 weeks ago and this has been the smoothest process ever. This is my first apartment and I was very nervous but Ericka welcomed me with open arms and made me feel comfortable with her positive personality . When I called to follow up Tiarra answered and she was very helpful and also already knew who I was. I was very happy with the professionalism and customer service I received. Today August 30, 2019 I got keys to my first apartment and I owe it all to the great staff and management at Woodland Creek. I would recommend you come to see for yourself ! Thanks again ! - RKS
Im looking for a place to live with my kids. Fell in love with the look of these apartments so i set up a tour... upon arriving I noticed there were lots of children running around which can be good and bad. The staff was nice and i was shown the different apartment options.. what turned me off from renting is the office had no air conditioning.. it was extremely hot and i was uncomfortable.. if the office don’t have a/c what about the apartments? They offered water and refreshments which was nice but a/c and washer and dryer is important to me

Thank you for your review. I’m not certain what the reason was for the Leasing Office to not have a/c at the time of your visit, but all of our apartment homes are equipped with central a/c and heating. There are full size washers and dryers in select apartment homes as well. If you’re still looking for an apartment home, I’d like to invite you out again for a tour since you fell in love with the look of the apartments. Please contact me directly at 301-894-0480. – Deborah W., Property Manager
Where to start?.... Very spacious apartments (the ones not pictured, the elementary school and bus stop is within walking distance and the maintenance is responsive, as long as you go directly to them and not thru the office because if you do you'll wait weeks for them to finally get to you. Now for the real info...in the 2 years I lived there, there have been 4 management companies and each one more rude than the next. There are aggressive dogs out there and my kids could never play outside because of that, they will tow your car even if you have a permit, the apartments that are NOT shown are the ones in the front of the property by the office, and they are completely falling apart, we were PROMISED new appliances when we moved in all they did was trade mine for another crap appliance from another apartment, it took almost a year to get a new dishwasher and a year before I could use my oven because it burned everything in it ( I'm a professional chef so I can cook) and I was only able to fix it because of YouTube. The carpets were filthy when we moved in, they promised a cleaning....never happened. THE BUGS!! Omg!!! Bed bugs, roaches, ants, flies, bees, gnats...everywhere inside and outside of the apartments. 90% of the outlets didn't work or kept blowing out OR kept frying which blew my kitchen appliances or TV's, trash just started being picked up on a somewhat regular basis but there was a time where we went a month without pickups. The neighbors are loud and obnoxious, out all night blasting music and selling drugs, making noise and if you call the office they don't do anything about it. There was a drug raid one morning at 6am. THE POLICE ARE ALWAYS THERE. The mailboxes are busted open so your mail is constantly stolen. Pipes are busting, faucets are leaking, lights and switches don't work and the outside property is dirty. The rent is already not worth the apt but they keep raising the rent as if these are Luxury apartments lol. Save yourself the hassle and rent from somewhere else

Maintenance never come and then Deborah the property mgr do not help also. They will let their tenants live in complete trash and will do 0 about it

So unprofessional and unorganized!

I've only been living at HCM for a year. And it definitly has its ups and down. When my fiancée and I moved in, The rental office. staff was very friendly and helpful . After the new management took over, some of the new staff were very rude and unprofessional. We payed 1370 rent, 2 bedroms and bathrooms. It was a nice size and the neighborhood was fine. It was annoying how parents let their children played in the street and our neighbors had children. So we constantly heard slamming doors. You can smell weed all time. The biggest problem I had was our refrigerator. We constantly had to ask for someone to fix our refrigerator or replace it. It took us most of the year to we stayed to finally get a new refrigerator. Then Cracks started to appear on our ceilings, which we can't get anyone to fix. They told us they will send someone to fix it but they never came. But the bus stop is close, the shopping center is close, and its a good neighborhood to live in.
I STAYED AT HENSON CREEK MANOR FOR LESS THAN TWO YEARS AND I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE BENEFITS WERE: THE LOCATION BEING BEAUTIFUL NEAR HENSON CREEK, CLOSE LOCAL SHOPPING AREAS, THE COMMUTE WAS FAIR, THERE ARE VARIOUS AREAS TO WALK FOR EXERCISING PURPOSES, THE POOL IS NICE AND THERE IS A PARK WITHIN THE COMMUNITY AND BEFORE YOU ENTER THE COMMUNITY WHICH IS GOOD FOR THE CHILDREN. THERE IS ALSO A CLOSE BUS STOP WITHIN THE COMMUNITY AND A SHORT WALK DOWN FROM FROM THE COMMUNITY THERE IS ANOTHER BUS STOP BEFORE YOU ENTER THE COMMUNITY. THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY IS REASONABLE AND THE UNITS ARE SPACIOUS AS WELL AS MOST HAVE BEEN NEWLY RENOVATED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY TO A SMALL FAMILY, A STUDENT OR A CAREER PROFESSIONAL!
THE COMMUNITY HAS CHANGED TO DIFFERENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANIES MORE THAN 10 TIMES AND THIS IS VERY UNREASONABLE. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOW, MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD NOT HAVE MOVED TO THIS PROPERTY MID JANUARY 2014. I WOULD LIKE TO MOVE TO ANOTHER COMMUNITY BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY HANDLES THE COMMUNITY. $1,360. IS TOO MUCH FOR A 2 BEDROOM 1 BATH BASED ON WHAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED. I HOPE I WIN BECAUSE I WILL BE MOVING AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HENSON CREEK MANOR AS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE. THE PROPERTY IS HANDLED BELOW STATE STANDARDS AND THEY SEND OUT LETTERS WITHOUT PROOF READING AND DATING THE INFORMATION WHEN NOTIFYING TENANTS WHICH IS VERY FRUSTRATING AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE AND IT WILL BE A LOVELY COMMUNITY ONCE THE RIGHT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY TAKES OVER. WE ARE TRYING TO MOVE BEFORE JANUARY 2016. WE ARE EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PROPERTY. I HOPE WE WIN WE NEED THIS SO BAD!!!!!!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!
leasing agents were awesome and very knowledgeable. the prices are decent and they are a very popular community. May definitely be living here soon.
