Property Ratings at Woodland Landing
We have been living here for the past 4 years and it was mistake the moment we moved in. Ever since we moved in our apartment has been leaking with water. Water coming from the AC, from up stairs, and old sewage backed up in the pipes and damaging my carpet. FOUR YEARS I haven't had roaches until now!!! This place makes me sick!! DONT MOVE HERE! ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
Best apartment complex in the area EVER! I was very nervous, unsure and scared about moving to a new county. Being that I grew up in Baltimore. However, from on boarding with Q, to the day I picked up my keys till now ( 7-8 months later) I’ve had nothing but an overwhelming great experience. The manager Deb, is super nice and so accommodating, she always makes herself available and address her residents with mutual respect and appreciation. Welcomes you even before you walk through the door, the assistance manager Chris is also very polite and genuine, all the staff here are beyond incredible, from the office to the maintenance people. They always do their best to communicate with you and get everything fixed ASAP. They respect your home and never just walk in with an attitude unlike some apartment workers do. The grounds and buildings are so well kept. They have someone always come in and clean the stairs EVERYDAY. It always smells nice and clean. Safe community and very homie for me and my family. My kids love it here. Oh and parking is the best in the area I’ve never really had an issue with parking and I come in sometimes as late as 2am. Did I mention how much this property go above and beyond with updating the surrounding and inside buildings? Yes they are nothing less of what you pay.
been here 4 months and seen 4 mice and mice droppings everywhere. mice droppings in the kitchen! mice running around in my son's room. maintenance does the bare minimum. every time they come in, I see more mice. cant even file the proper paperwork to legally end my lease because they deleted all of my maintenance request that would serve as proof that I have notified them of this issue MULTIPLE times. I'm afraid to open the cabinets in my own apartment because a small brown blur that is a mouse comes running out. the 'traps' that maintenance put down is a joke! It hasn't trapped a single thing. I'm on the 4th floor so its not like they just came in from outside. this was an existing problem before I moved in. I don't feel this place is safe or healthy for my family to be in. my husband comes back from over seas to fight a mice war in his own apartment! i hate it here. the mice issue and trying to figure out how to get out of here without myself and my husband ending up absolutely broke is an extremely stressful situation.
The more work they do on your apartment to fix it, the more mice show up. They lie and say you never asking for more traps. They make you feel like it’s your job to do their job. Property manager is rude and disrespectful ! I would not live here if rent was $2 . Never any parking.
Great place to live and great apartment but they have the Most rudest and unprofessional staff in the Rental office to Name a few Ms Hardy and others
DO NOT MOVE HERE.. I cannot wait to hand in my 30 day notice to vacate these premises. Rude and unprofessional staff, Extra roommates (I.E Mice, Roaches, Spiders, Bugs). This place is mice infested. Yes the price is cheap but the mice and roaches running around all day in your apartment is not worth it. Maintenance enters your apartment without even knocking. One day I was home in my room and I heard someone entering. I thought it was my kids and came into the living the room. It was maintenance entering saying he knocked a few times and no one answered. LIES LIES LIES.. I would have heard someone knocking. There is no natural light coming into your apartments because of the way the buildings were built, so its dark all day. The windows are small so there are little light entering. Depending on your location you will be watching a brick wall all day from your room. Only one small pool. Don't waste your time coming here. Look somewhere else. You will regret it.
1. Customer Service is horrible. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Especially the senior management. 2. Maintence does not do work correctly or on time. 3. Parking is nonexist. Only one parking space per leaseholder(person on the lease). If your have more than one vehicle you are out of luck. They change the parking policy every year to limit who can park on the premise even if you have been living there prior to. 4. Only one visitors pass per house. No unexpected guest. Visitors must park in visitors space and have visitors pass. If they don't have both they will be towed. There are only about 20 visitors spots for the whole complex. People literally wait in the parking lot for hours waiting for a visitors space. 5. Towing is daily! They LOVE to tow. They even tow residents. $175 to get car back. Can't park across the street in the shopping center because they tow as well. So does self storage. Parking on the street will earn you a ticket. 6. Noise is a problem because the walls are thin. You can hear the neighbors above, below, across, and next to you. 7. Roaches and rodents are a issues that has always plagued this complex. 8. Price is not comparable to the downsides. You don't get your monies worth. Though the Utilities are included, you give up so much. 9. Late on rent will result in a court summons that will be taped to the front of the building door for all the neighbors to see. Disclaimer: As a resident of this complex for 4 years, I strongly recommend not moving here. It has been a horrible experience. I no longer live here.
I have very few negative things to say about these apartments. I love the space in each room, especially the bedroom. I have a king sized bed and still have enough space for a recliner and more. The closet space in the bedroom is worth mentioning too. There's a spacious walk-in as soon as you enter the room plus a long closet built into the wall further into the room. I love the dishwasher in the kitchen, as well as the breakfast bar with the window into the dining room. So far it sounds great right? Spacious, all utilities included, what more could we ask for?? A better parking situation is what. The parking lot is supposed to be permit only but it seems as if the tow trucks simply tow when and who they want. We have to search for spaces near our building or we have to wait hours for someone who doesn't live here or have a visitors pass to leave. I really do love the space in the apartment but the parking situation is really enough to make us want to leave.
I recently moved to this property about a month ago and love it. I actually lived here two years ago for about three years and loved it just as much then! Maintenance and leasing staff are friendly and fast acting with request. The neighborhood is quiet but also family friendly with various events and giveaways for children in the neighborhood. There is a nice quaint gym, nice sized swimming pool and peaceful lake that adds to the serenity of the neighboorhood. My place is very updated and modern, all utilities included with a spacious kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The only reason I would move away this time around is if I purchasing a home. I am over the moon happy that I've moved back and have no plans of moving into another apartment complex ever again.
Woodland Landing is a nice place to live. I first moved in because it was all utilities included and left because my mother had to move in with me and she had a dog. I also had a dog and Woodland has a strict one dog policy. (which I think is just dumb considering I'm willing to pay for both). In any case after some time, my mother is move out and so is her dog so I moved back in. So other than the silly dog policy, and the fact that you don't have your own laundry machines in your apartment, I think it's a good place to live. The apartments are spacious. The appliances are appealing. The pool in the summer is never too crowded. The exercise room is great for a workout. The office staff are very nice and accommodating. They understand that sometimes things happen. Overall, I think I'll stay a while.
