Woodlawn is a suburb of Chicago on the southern coast of Lake Michigan. Harbors, lagoons, parks, golf courses, and public beaches fill this area with all of its coastal charm. Jackson Park is a community hub for outdoor recreation and spreads across 540 acres. It’s equipped with fitness facilities, gardens, and public beach access. The beach is called 63rd Street Beach and is one of the most popular spots in town. Nearby, you’ll find the Jackson Park Golf Course and Driving Range. There’s even a Jackson Bark, the community dog park for residents’ furry friends. Churches, schools, restaurants, and more reside in Woodlawn. Part of the University of Chicago is located in the neighborhood, specifically their Law School.
