Resident of 4 years. Property and staff are amazing and attentive! Location is excellent to I5, 118 and 406! As well as Sepulveda, so access to Target, Walgreens, Vons and more!

I have been living here for a year now, Yesenia is the best manager in the world, she keeps this place super clean and safe, she takes care of everything, I read the reviews before I move here, everyone said positive which are absolutely true, also when I needed any kind od maintenance Luis was here to help the same day, I have no complaints!!!

I have lived here since January 2022, as a first Time apartment renter, I have had a smooth process from day one. Yesenia is the apartment Manager. From the moment I applied, processed paperwork, moved in, until now as a tenant she has made it smooth sailing. Genuinely a great community! Clean & secured environment! All my guest have been impressed with how lovely Woodman Lassen Apartments are. So it’s not just me that speaks highly of this complex. I found a gem as my first time apartment renting, no doubt!

Kuddos to Yesenia and her team. During this COVID-19 pandemic, they have taken extreme measures by posting signs throughout the property, mailroom, elevators, laundry rooms asking that everyone wears a mask so we don't become infected. I know that not all residents believe how serious COVID is so they don't wear a mask, but for the majority of us, we wear a mask. The staff clean the laundry machines, doorknobs, elevator buttons, and railings with bleach. The staff is wearing double masks to avoid spread. A week ago, I received a call from Yesenia just to "check-in" to see how I have been since we have not seen each other in a few months. This brought me to tears, who does this anymore? I actually had been going through a real hard time with the loss of work, income, and also losing multiple family members to COVID and honestly, I was NOT ok. She listened to me. Although I know she could not do anything to change my situation, the fact that she took time out of her busy day to tell me she was thinking of me and wanted to reach out made such a huge impression. Although she is our manager, she is also human and she cares about her people. She asked if I needed anything, honestly Yesenia, you have done more than enough for me. you care! I’ve lived here for a decade. Yesenia and Luis are on top of any issues that should arise. Quiet apartment complex, always clean and maintained.

Complex manager and her staff take great pride in maintaining this complex on a daily basis! Cleanliness, gardening/landscaping needs have not fallen under par since I’ve been living here. Manager and her staff decorate around complex for holidays which adds to the comfort and proudness to call this place home. Manager is quick to address any concerns/complaints that are brought to her attention. I would definitely recommend this complex to all.

I’ve been here a little over 3 years and I’m so amazed at how our Manager (Yesenia) goes above and beyond to make everyone here feel loved and so welcomed. From putting birthday balloons at their door to decorating the courtyard for every special holiday. She really does so much for all the tenants. When there is a maintenance order. She is promptly on it making sure it is done. Louis (maintenance) is very professional and gets the job done in a promptly manner. Always so friendly. He’s so great and does so much. Thank you Yesenia and Louis for all that you both do. Greatly appreciated. I am truly thankful to be a part of this community. Carmen

Me and my daughters have lived here for a couple of months now and we absolutely love it! We feel safe and everyone is really friendly. Yesenia and Luis are always really kind and professional. Any issues/ concerns you have they immediately get on it.

So, my review is simple. I have been at WL for a few years now. My overall experience has been great. Our manager Yesenia has been very responsive to handle a few problems that I had with our neighbors about after-hours party noise and smoking in the apartments although we are a smoke-free property. She has handled all my questions and concerns with respect and a positive attitude. She was able to get the parties to stop and smoking as well. I appreciate her quick responses and also her keeping us informed with updates that might affect all the people that live here. She is strict yet fair.

We have been living here less than a month and I can honestly say it has gone well. Everyone is friendly all around. We have absolutely no complaints.

My wife and I have lived at Woodman Lassen for almost 2 years now. I can not say enough nice things about not only the property, but also Yesenia and Luis. Anytime we needed anything done from the AC serviced, living room fan looked at, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator rental, service pet application, packages signed for, and so much more ... those two were the ones that got it all done! Not to mention the yearly Easter egg hunt, potluck Thanksgiving, Christmas sweater party, Halloween candy handout, lights strung up, flowers planted, pool cleaned, and everything in between. This place is truly one of the best places I've ever lived and Yesenia and Luis make it feel like a home rather than a rental property. Plenty of street parking, 2 great grills downstairs, laundry room (with a lock to keep riff-raff out), and a great, quiet, family environment. I would recommend this place to everyone! 10/10!

I'm a returning renter! My family and I previously lived at Woodman Lassen 4 years ago and one of the main reasons we are returning is because of Yesenia and Luis. Yesenia is an amazing manager, who truly cares for her tenants and her home. She keeps this place running and looking beautiful. Luis is Yesenia's right hand man, a handy man like no other. One would expect with as much care and effort Luis puts into this apartment complex, you would expect he owns it. Woodman Lassen is wonderful, family friendly place to live. The neighborhood is quiet and necessities are easily accessible.

This apartment is beautiful! Love how its maintained clean all the time. Neighbors are nice and friendly. My kids love to play with our neighbor's kids. The manager make us feel like we are one family! Always looking forward to see decorations for every holidays. Much thanks to the manager Yeseni and her team for putting so much effort on decorating. Maintenance problem get fix right away with no problem by Luis. Love that it has 24hr surveillance camera system.

I’ve been a resident of Woodman Lassen Apartments for 7 years and have nothing but great things to say. Luis the maintenance man does an amazing job at keeping the complex looking awesome and helping out with the unit maintenance. Super safe complex! Great laundry room and grill area. Manager Yesenia always available to help when needed.

Last year I lost my home to a fire and I was beyond myself with grief, loss and just emotionally overwhelmed. We had nothing. My oldest daughter was in the east coast in school and would be coming home for the holidays but we did not have a home for her to come home too. I was beyond myself looking for a place to live. I called around and nobody had anything available.Driving by I called this apartment building looking for a 2bd for my family not expecting anything as all other places I called were full. I called and Yesenia picked up the phone immediately, she explained that the apartments were not ready but had one coming up but I would have to wait for them to finish them which we had no choice the insurance company put us up in a motel. I explained my situation to Yesenia, long story short, I moved in. When I moved in I had NOTHING, nothing to call my own as we lost everything. When i opened my door, Yesenia had placed a gift basket with some basic foods for my family, coloring books, crayons, towels, shampoo, etc in the dining room. We had a welcome home sign in our kitchen with a coffee pot and mugs, and some small toys for my kids. I cried so much, my kids cried. It touched our hearts that she cared this much about us without knowing who we were but cared about us as people and understood the hard times we faced as we start to rebuild our lives all over again, especially come the holidays. She invited my family to the thankful event that she was hosting for Thanksgiving for everyone, which we went too. It was so home felt, warm and what my family needed to see. There is still kindness in this world. She served us pie and my kids hot cocoa. she introduced us to other neighbors and they made us feel welcomed. We shared and exchanged our stories with the neighbors we met and before you know it, some of these new friends brought my family some new pots and pans, new dishes, kids clothes, blankets, these neighbors are who we now call family. We are overjoyed with the love and outpouring of support we have encountered at Woodman Lassen Apartments. For Thanksgiving they decorated with pumpkins and fall decorations everywhere, christmas was outstanding, lights, trees were everywhere. This is home! So Yesenia Velez, your kindness for my family will not be forgotten. You are forever in our hearts! When nothing was expected from you, you shined and made us feel at home and showed us that we are not alone.

I would like to give their maintenance guy all the credit and stars because he was amazing and helpful at all hours. As for Yesenia I would say otherwise, she was never in her office and when it came to receiving packages I would wait days because they would go to her office and she was rarely present. She was not great at communicating either only when rent was due of course. Apartments were nice but the rent has gone up immensely.

I want to write this review because I want to give Yesenia and Luis the credit that they deserve. I appreciate that they keep the community clean and are always available to help. A few months back I had a family emergency and had to leave the county for 4 months. They both went above and beyond to make the time that I was away more peaceful between handling family matters, mail, rent payments, and keeping an eye on my house. I know that they care about me and wanted to make the death of my father a much easier thing to handle if my home was taken care of. Because of their professionalism and a concern I will be here for years. I am sure that we as tenants don't tell them enough how much we appreciate all that they do. They give birthday cards and balloons on our doors, decorate the property for every holiday and maintenance is always done very quickly. Luis always has a smile. Pros-decent units,complex is clean inside, non smoking, maintenance guy always there. Apt manager always there. Cons- a little pricey, bldg close to road is loud, you can hear thr cars. Walls between apartments are too thin you can hear your neighbor if theyre loud enough.
