Resting an hour and a half north of Philadelphia, Bethlehem is located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, steeped in rich industrial and colonial history. It’s endured a revitalization over the years, but its surge in popularity hasn’t hampered its old-city charm. While Bethlehem may be under 20 square miles, there is a ton to discover.
Experience the city’s beginnings in the historic downtown district, which houses several museums and landmarks. Spend a day learning about mills, wash house, and other structures in the Colonial Industrial Quarter, or the town’s role in the steel industry at the National Museum of Industrial History. After your history lesson, visit some of the specialty shops, galleries, and local eateries in the downtown area.
If you’re an art lover, you’ll fit right in because this quaint town is home to a vibrant visual and performing arts scene, with several spaces dedicated to artistic expression.

Property Ratings at Woodmont Mews
All Woodmont properties have the same issues: Horrible management Horrible parking
Apartment is great and the staff is very helpful except for the parking situation. There's no parking available in the evening/night near 7 of the 9 buildings in the woodmont mews community. But there's ample parking near buildings 8 and 9. Speaking to the leasing office people results in no action as they become defensive and say according to the city rules there's enough parking in the community. What they don't understand is the core issue that there's enough parking near two buildings but absolutely no parking near other 7 buildings. The solution of alloting parking spaces to residents solves this but seems like no one working in the leasing office is even acknowledging the issue. Its a very unfortunate situation for most residents who end up parking their vehicles in front of the buildings on the road as they might be coming in with kids late night and cannot drop kids in front of their building alone, drive far away to park, and walk back to their building as well.
I moved into Woodmont Mews when they first opened up and it was fantastic for the first few years. Management was fantastic and everyone made you feel welcome and really made it feel like home. Unfortunately nothing last forever and the good old days of this place are long gone. The downfall of this place began once they started building multiple other Woodmont properties all over the valley. For anyone who moved in within the past couple years; they have no clue what it used to be like or how the lease gets modified more and more every year. Here are a few prime examples of what I am talking about; if you wanted to get out of your lease early there was no problem with this as long as either you or property management could find someone to take the lease over. That has been since erased due to the greediness of being able to "double dip". For those that don't know what this means; it allows the complex to continue to collect your rent even if they would fill the apartment the very next day. Another change that has been made was there is now a yearly $150.00 amenities fee every year this was just implemented a couple years ago. I found this quite insulting as you pay quite a bit of money for what it is. Going back to all the new Woodmont properties that have been opened; all of the good management and workers have been transferred to the new nicer developments and the Bethlehem property is left with the employees that didn't make the cut. If you go into the clubhouse for anything, you will quickly get the feeling that you are an inconvenience and don't be surprised to get cocky/sarcastic responses. I am a professional that needs to get rest at night and this place is turning more into a place for "college kids" With that being said; expect parties, noise, stomping up and down the stairs, and door slamming. When I have made complaints about this, I have gotten this response; "We will touch base with them however there isn't much we can do about it except for YOU to call the cops". Parking: If you get home late; good luck getting a parking space anywhere remotely near your building. Don't even bother talking to Marlo who is the manager as you will get quickly brushed off about it. As a woman who comes home late at night from work; I do not feel safe having to walk that far from my car to my apartment at midnight. Lastly; don't even entertain the fact of getting your security deposit back.
I lived in Woodmont Mews for about 3 years. Within those 3 years what was an immaculate, quite place to live changed for the worse. The grounds started to become somewhat unkept. From cigarettes on the ground wherever they were left to dog waste in the grass and garage pails overflowing. The winter clean up this season was a joke as well. No plowing, poor salting of the roadways, and the sidewalks not cleaned. There have also been many changes within the front office staff over the years which has also been for the worse. The staff is rude and unprofessional!! The rent and pet fees increased on a yearly basis as well making Woodmont Mews no longer "the place to live"....
Was very nice when i moved in 7 yrs ago but alot has changed and not for the better. Way to expensive so we will be moving after our year 8 is finished
We have lived in several apartment complexes throughout Bethlehem, and Woodmont Mews was by far the nicest! They have so much to offer and everyone within the community is extremely nice and pet friendly. We've lived in other apartment communities where the people will leave their dog's waste all over the grounds and will ignore you while walking past. The grounds themselves are the best kept out of any apartment complex I've ever seen. Woodmont Mews was also the only apartment complex that I know of that tried to hold events for everyone to mingle and get to know one another. The location is extremely convenient if you are trying to go downtown or go shopping and there is even a shuttle across the street at Martin Tower for some of them, so you do not even need to drive to experience all that Bethlehem has to offer. The rent is reasonable considering the amenities they have to offer, because lots of other complexes do not provide half of the services that Woodmont does. While living at Woodmont, we never had any issues with our neighbors or with noise, and we were on the first floor. When we had maintenance issues, which is pretty hard to come by considering everything was brand new, the maintenance team was there within the first day of calling and resolved the issue. I am currently trying to break my lease so that I can come back!
We have lived here for 7 years on year number 8!! We have always loved it here but they put the rent up so much and this year charged us for amenties that we do not even use!! The new business manager we have is even rude to the tenants
Location, maintenance, and grounds are excellent. Unfortunately, the cost, noise, and ammenities lower my opinion of this property. Since the buildings are not separated into dogs/no dogs, you are helpless if someone moves into your building with a yapping dog. For the rent charged, I was surprised that ceiling fans and programmable thermostats were not standard + . kitchen appliances are the outdated "GE white" package.
