Situated in western New York on the cusp of Lake Ontario, Rochester holds the title of the state’s third most populous city. Touting a distinct blend of history and innovation, Rochester is filled with historic buildings turned modern lofts and apartments. The University of Rochester as well as Rochester Institute of Technology both contain leading research programs, lending to the city’s educated workforce and prospering future. Prominent figures like Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass once called Rochester home.
Even though it’s a fairly large city, Rochester still holds a small-town vibe. Rochester offers several community events that are widely attended, including the Lilac Festival and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.
The Strong Museum, Memorial Art Gallery, and the George Eastman Museum all feature special exhibits that inspire curiosity. Scenic views await at Highland Park, and residents adore their day trips to the Seneca Park Zoo and Seabreeze Amusement Park.

Property Ratings at Woodridge Apartments
Woodridge is set in a quiet area of Irondequoit and offers not only peace and tranquility, but a genuine feeling of being HOME! The staff all work hard to make our community look and feel great...They go the extra mile for everyone who lives here without being asked and really deserve the recognition for doing so. I can't say enough about how happy I am to live at Woodridge.
We've lived here for over five years, to say the least Woodridge is amazing. The only bad part of living here is our neighbor downstairs (but hey there's rude people everywhere you go) and that the windows are kinda drafty in the winter. If there's a problem maintenance will be there immediately. Barb, the head of the complex, is such sweet woman, always willing to go out of her way to help. The pool is nice, barley anyone goes so that's a positive. The maintenance men all live here and are on call which is cool because the second it snows they are sent out to shovel, put salt down or plow. Lose your keys at 4am? They got you too. Overall good, affordable complex. Would recommend to anyone.
This is a great place to live. The property is set in a quiet park like setting. My apartment overlooks a beautiful courtyard with wild turkeys and deer. Heat is included in the rent and there is a pool. The property is well maintained and the maintenance crew are very efficient and polite. There is a grocery store and many different restaurants and retail stores within 1 to 2 miles. We are very happy and content here.
This is a great place for us. We needed an apartment on the ground floor for my husband. We needed to be near the doctor office, store, hospital, etc. and this was perfect. The rooms are larger than our house and we have plenty of space for our grandkids to play. There is a pool for the kids also. The office staff is great and the maintenance people are terrific, always there to help when we needed it. The grounds are parklike and safe to walk with some wildlife at times. We are so happy to have moved here.
