Eau Claire is the largest city in western Wisconsin, located just over an hour’s drive from the Twin Cities. Eau Claire is best known for being home to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, contributing a college-town atmosphere to the community along with a penchant for independent thought. The university presence also contributes to Eau Claire’s self-proclaimed title, “The Indie Capital of the Midwest.” Eau Claire’s strong support of independent businesses and many local music festivals bolster the city’s claim to the title as well.
The local music festivals bring the Eau Claire community together, including the Eau Claire Jazz Festival, Rock Fest, Country Fest, Blue Ox, and Country Jam USA. Eau Claire residents also come together to enjoy outdoor recreation at the city’s many picturesque parks, such as Phoenix Park, Carson Park, and Mount Simon Park, in addition to numerous fishing spots along the Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers.

Property Ratings at Woodsedge
It is a pretty good apartment for 2 to 3 people good heating and cooling but electricity is not included in the rent payment. The apartment is a upstairs and a main floor. Carpet and Linoleum Flooring manageable sized kitchen with 2 1/2 bathroom with 3 bedrooms. Being there is no ledge in front of the door letting anything with more than 4 legs better access to the house. But the cooling only vents upstairs so the upstairs will be 60 while the downstairs is 78 degrees'. If you have a lot of furniture there is a small storage next to the unit but it's only roughly 7 x 5 x 8 (L x W x H) feet I live at home with my brothers and my dad and money is a hard thing to come by these days so winning free rent for life would really help us get a hold of our financial situation. Currently we are no longer on housing assistance and rent has become a hassle to pay. not to say the price is to much we are just in a predicament that I would not wish upon anyone. We are looking to move soon to a new renter for a house instead of a apartment. Winning free rent for life would be a huge turn of luck and would be highly grateful to anyone who voted this useful. I don't expect to win but if by you and/or the will of god we win; our lives will be forever changed and hopefully for the better. I know this isn't suppose to be a personal note but a review of the apartment but there is really nothing else to say than its a apartment. Thank you to whoever reads this and in case no one tells you, you are beautiful person and I hope for many great things for you. Love, That guy on the internet.
It's definitely not a bad place to rent, and comes with 3 types. 1st is a ground floor 2 bedroom, with a kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The Bathroom is its own room. The second is a 2 story apartment (ground floor and an upper floor). This is a 3 bedroom, kitchen, 2 bathroom, and a living room. The lower floor is the entryway leading into the living room with the kitchen and bathroom in the back. Upstairs is the 3 bedrooms and the other bathroom (the bathroom is also separate from the bedrooms.) The final type is pretty much the same as the 2 story but has a balcony above the storage unit that comes with all the apartments right outside the doors. I live in the 2 story without the balcony, and they do a very good job at keeping people informed and things in order. They have garbage services, inspections, and rules in place to keep the are clean for everyone to enjoy. They also always give proper notification when special occasions like when the street sweeper comes to clean the parking lots, they leave a letter at everyone's door to let them know ahead of time and plan efficiently. There is a limit on parking spaces however. Only 2 are allowed per apartment, and must have the parking permits in clear view from the windshield. They aren't the most spacious apartments, and the cost isn't cheep. However they do come with most essential appliances(i.e. Washer, Drier, Dishwasher, Oven.), and they replace them if they fail, or stop working. Out of most places I've rented from I'd have to say this is one of the more decent ones. Feels more like a community rather than an apartment complex. They even have a Playground for kids, and it's own food pantry. One of the better places in Eau Claire.
