Every one is super nice and friendly !! They all have great attitudes and go above and beyond to help their residents! I needed to find a place asap and they helped me get in right away !!
From start to finish everything was smooth friendly staff and maintenance., I truly appreciate the experience i very pleased i choose this apartment community.
I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. In my opinion tear them down and try again. Maintenance is awful never wants to fix anything unless I threaten a lawyer. The ladies in the leasing office are just down right rude and don’t care about anyone but themselves. I guarantee you her apartment is in top condition.
I have lived here for a while and we love this place. But when there are maintenance issues it gives me high anxiety. Repairs have gone over three and four months and no one comes to fix the issue. Hope things get better.
This place is falling apart fast! Between the total lack of maintainence , people in the office who dont care and the rats, We will be moving out!

Maintenance can do better and so can the people in the leasing office by answering the phone and emails my neighbor upstairs is too loud the people in the leasing office don’t care

I love the layout of the apartment. When I moved in it was pretty dirty and I had to spend a lot of time cleaning. Maintenance has been very quick in responding so far - no complaints there. The office staff is nice but they don’t do what they promise they’ll do. I have had to ask multiple times for a new, corrected lease and still don’t have it. Hopefully I can give a better review of the office soon.

I’m a firm believer of “Know before you rent”. I’ve been renting with Woodshire since early 2020 and it has its ups and downs. They are one of the cheaper-ish places in the area and are in a great location, but like all rentals there are quite a few things to watch out for. • Maintenance: Poor and high turnover. Months to get help and they do not always let you know they have been in your apartment. Get a camera!!! Lastly, they do not clean up after themselves. Expect to have to clean up after them. • Pest Control: Poorly run here, so many roaches and other critters. • Front Office staff: A lot of turnover can’t really speak on the new bunch. • Communication o They use text messaging and email for updates of utility shut off to units, upcoming apartment wide exterior maintenance/closure updates, and it appears they are slowly adding more social events back to the calendar. o DOCUMENT EVERY INTERACTION!!!! • Hidden fees (all non-negotiable): o Two different trash fees-one for valet and the general trash expenses. Approximately $63 monthly. o Conservice-used to bill for utilities $5.50 monthly o Pest Control approximately $5 monthly o New since Greystar took over- Common Space Electricity Fee; approximately $4 monthly. You still have your own personal electricity bill for your own unit. • Extras: o Dog Park-Gross--clean up before you let your dog loose o Gym was closed from July-October 2024. o Pool closed July 16 and re-opened in August 9. Was closed nearly all of 2023 season as well for maintenance issues. o In unit Washer/Dryers: does not vent outside of unit. I won’t say don’t rent here, but I will say be cautious and do not expect luxury. TIll my next update/review; hopefully with some positives. Thank you for listening!

Good and quiet neighborhood close to everything including malls, schools and stores. Office staff has been helpful but maintenance is slow wish they would respond quicker.

Almost a month no AC on my unit, carpet smells from when toilet leaked, unit gave leaking water all over carpet in dining area, and finding mold in master bathroom that doesn’t work. Don’t move here will never get anything fixed. Staff and maintenance both sucks! Would give zero stars if I could!

Living in Woodshire is quiet, there are also many places nearby that give you the ease of getting things without having to run a long distance, I would change the fact that the maintenance staff, although they are very friendly, they don't really fix things for you, they leave everything halfway.

Woodshire gets an A for effort but an F for execution. Get the wallet out and spend some money on your residents. Not having a working AC unit is grounds to terminate a lease. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. 0 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone in the office for anything, because they close early or just don’t show up. No one answers the phone, answers emails, and especially no call backs. I honestly don’t know why they even have a leasing office if it’s never open? When I’m finally able to talk to someone; they are rude, short, and just don’t care what you have to say. It’s almost like actually doing their job is too much work for them to handle. Absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

Do not move here! The people in the office are very rude. There is mold in my apartment, my AC does not work and my hot water goes out every other week. With all these problems going on, there has not been apologies from management or any credits given… Absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Would not recommend moving here me and my husband thought we would love it here but it’s been a month since they haven’t fixed any of our maintenance issues with the was machine not working making it our major issue since we have to go to a laundromat and waste money the people in the office don’t answer the phones or email back

As we discussed on the telephone, we have unfortunately been operating on a skeleton crew as the workforce has been tough to recruit as skilled trades are dwindling :( This is sadly a common issue in our industry and we are working diligently to overcome. Maintenance service is horrible, the front staff is as well. I have submitted multiple maintenance request as well as pics with zero response. The only time I received any assistance is when I put in for an emergency. The maintenance man had a very bad attitude when he conducted the maintenance. On the 19th when they did the inspection they banged on my door. As I was walking towards the door I could hear the maintenance man complaining about residents stating that we always complaining about the maintenance, and when they show up we are never here. I don’t appreciate that at all. My lease is up in Mar of 2024 I can’t wait to move out and never look back.

I am so pleased with the service I have received so far. The manager reached out to me prior to my move in to tell me that she didnt LOVE the unit and wanted more time to make it right, she explained that she understood the importance of not being able to get back a poor first impression and I appreciated her letting me know. I told her that I really couldnt push back my date so whatever wasn't done, they could just take care of after I moved in. However to my surprise the place was imaculate. Very Clean, new flooring and I do not see anything needing to be taken care of. I do LOVE the place. Thank you Ms Sara for taking the time to be sure the apartment would feel like home for me.

Terrible place to live. maintenance tickets left unattended for months, the management does not care about the residents, and forget the regional even responding to emails or calls! no one to turn to! giant cockroaches surrounding the walkways and entryways to your home because of poor pest control (only comes every other week and DOES NOT spray) my apartment ac has been messed up for over a month, dishwashers been flooding kitchen when we use the sink for 2 or 3 months, no ones even checked on those tickets. the list goes on. run the other way.

units do not look as advertised online. the unit was dirty and nearly falling apart. minor repairs could have been made to prepare for the next tenant but was not done.

If you live in a non-renovated unit, there will be a lot wrong with the apartment. The maintenance team rarely ever comes to fix what needs to be fixed. The location is great and the apartment size is pretty good for the price. Would not live here again but not the worst around.

It’s a quiet community that’s in a great location of Virginia Beach. I’m literally within a mile of everything including the interstate which is perfect since I work in Norfolk.

Excellent community to live, work, and play!!! They take great pride in their work and keeping the community happy.
They don’t deserve one star! This place is a well-made up the dump they take care of the grass they take care of the lawn they prune the trees they sweep the leaves but they don’t clean none of the foyer‘s of any of the buildings and the management staff sucks they don’t wanna answer the phone they don’t wanna do their job the maintenance man or sub par five maintenance man equivalent the brain of one maintenance man they have bedbugs they did not get rid of them properly they spread and infested multiple apartments this is the third time in five years that they’ve had bedbugs and had to use Dodson pest control everything in the apartment is broke down beat up run down and go they don’t want to renovate anything it’s just a dump it’s a dump in a nice neighborhood it’s close to town Center the schools is A DUMP!
First week everything is quiet, plenty of walking for your puppy or dog or just yourself, dog bark park is really nice , beautiful pool area, grill & Picnic tables and playground area for enjoyment.
This is a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The maintenance man John is so friendly and polite. Very responsive to your issues. They keep it clean and the inside of your apartment is a very nice size with up to date appliances and fixtures. Very nice place to live. My only one minimal complaint is that in the summer time. They need a lot more insect spray maintenance for the playground so the children can play.
The updated layout is amazing and I am very happy with the apartment. Secondly the community environment is great.
This place is a dump Ana the apartment are rundown. The maintenance are incompetent, and management is inadequate and unprofessional. But at least the pool is nice and the have good landscaping of the grass
there is no enforcement of the lease where it says these homes are smoke free and it is not true!!

My thermostat was not working properly. After informing management of the problem via email, they made it a priority to amend the problem in less than an hour. Very Satisfied.
