Woodside Manor

I just moved in and my apartment was clean and so far maintenance has been here when requested. The management folks are very nice and helpful. The grounds are kept neat and mowed often. They need some landscaping done since last years freeze and I was told they are planning that this next year. I am very comfortable and enjoying my new neighbors who are all very friendly.

Apartments are comfortable, maintenance men are exceptional, always friendly & efficient.

Woodside Manor is a very wonderful place to be. We are new here but love it, it is larger than we thought it was, and got to see nature in the form of deer at the back of the property. Very very nice. We feel very welcome here. Thanks Joe and Bula.

I am very happy with the maintainence staff. They are professional and polite. I like living in this community. There are always a few minor problems, but overall I am happy.

Love the area, close to church, shopping ,doctors. Good floor plan, good neighbors

I'm very pleased with my apartment. The area is very clean and well maintained. It is close to grocery stores, eating places and shopping areas.

Im 85 years old and Ive lived here for 11 years on May 1. I especially like that our homes are all one-story and all units have front and back doors. Its very quiet and peaceful here and I love that its surrounded by woods on three sides so we can see deer; also hear coyotes at night. The neighbors are friendly and usually helpful. The office management and staff are courteous, cheerful and helpful, and maintenance is prompt and courteous. Moving here was the right choice for me!

We've lived here almost 7 years and have enjoyed our life here. Convenient to everything, miss having the office, fitness room etc open as these amenities are part of our rent.

This complex could be very pretty if taken care of. The landscape could certainly be enhanced for a more inviting and relaxing atmosphere with the adding of commercial floral areas. The residents would be able to get to know one another and enjoy the community they are paying for with some Social Distancing in the various amenities instead of all socializing being curtailed entirely due to COVID-19. Many other Senior Communities are finding ways to accomplish this to help with the shut-in problems that this is creating.

Quiet place, good and convenient location, lacking in community spirit

Overall we are very happy with Woodside Manor. The maintenance is taken care of in a timely manner and we have no complaints.

Not a bad place to live but there seems to be a lot of people moving and others coming in. The rent continues to go up every year and it's a big problem. Social Security checks goes up minimal, not even enough to compensate for the increase in rent. Sometime in the near future, I will be forced to leave for that reason and not because i'm ready to leave. This is my biggest concern and/or complaint!. And I don't understand why this problem is not being addressed.

Over all I enjoy living at Woodside Manor .... Great locatoin, nice apartments and the people are friendly.

It was a blessing that I found this property after looking at about 8 properties. It's a "hidden gem". I love the "one story" cottages/apartments, the security is great, the landscaping is regularly done, amenities like restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, drug stores, etc., are nearby, and the staff is courteous and friendly and cares about our satisfaction living here.

The staff is amazing! And they make you feel like a valued resident.

I chose to live here because of the community's appearance, security and proximity to medical facilities and choices for shopping.

Nice, quiet, great neighbors

We moved from Oregon during the COVID outbreak and were extremely happy with the attention from property manager and staff. I wish I could talk a few friends into moving here as well but I guess the heat scares them.

Though I'm new here, this feels like a community of people that are friendly and helpful. I can't think of a bad thing to say. The staff and residents make you feel welcome and at home.

Friendly neighbors, responsive staff, excellent location- a place I love coming home to and staying at home in a beautiful wooded setting.

The management here at at Woodside Manor are very pleasant to speak with and take care of what business you need done very promptly. The maintenance men are very friendly and do everything they can to promptly take care of your problem. I would recommend Woodside Manor to anyone looking for an apartment.

We attempted to get an apartment here at Woodside Manor in February of 2020. To find out availability was coming up in May when we were planning to move just made it that much more exciting. Due to COVID-19 systems in the state we were moving from (Oregon) made our plans that much more difficult to get completed. Tonia sent us all the paperwork and application for us to fill out and return When we heard we had been approved our state was still in lockdown but we decided to get on the road anyway. It's been just under 2 weeks and we are very pleased with our new home and its neighbors. Thank you Woodside Manor Community, we know we made the right choice!

We have lived here 6 years and are comfortable here. Buildings are showing their age and require painting in & out, floors & cabinets showing wear.

Moved to Woodside Manor in January and it has been wonderful. The residents of the community and the staff has been extremely nice. So glad to be a resident.

Life here is simple, community benefits good, quiet and secure.

Manager does not know to work with Senior Citizen. Moved here 4 years ago . Was excited to move in then old manager left and new manager took and everything went down hill. Rent keeps going up and we watched many of our friends and many others move out. Gate NEVER WORKS, BEEN TOLD MANGER TURNS IT OFF IN THE OFFICE. BUILDING NEED REPAIRS AND PAINT.AND MANY OTHER THINGS.OUT SIDE GROUNDS ARE MESS.

This is an excellent choice if you want a peaceful, quiet living environment. The apartments are well maintained and feature a front door and a back door, with courtyards. Basic landscaping has been provided and residents are free to add plants and flowers in beds that the resident maintains. Many residents have added bird feeders and we have a nice number of hummingbirds every year. Around the property there are various species of wildlife including deer, fox, turtles and herons.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful place. Management is quick to respond to requests.

It's a great home ,safe feeling ,good neighbors beautiful place to get out an walk you're pets are just sat on You're porches an have coffee with a friend are a big glass of sweet tea just like the old days gone by ,most neighbors are friendly an always their to help

This community is like a "diamond in the rough"! I was lucky to have found it while searching online mostly. I love the fact that instead of a rectangular "box" of apartments, we each have our own "cottage" with 2 porches, much like the homes we used to own. The location is centrally located to all amenities I use frequently and I feel safe and secure and peaceful and comfortable living here. I compared it to another similar property in the Woodlands, and this was more square footage for a bit less money and more pleasing to the eye and not in the middle of the massive traffic in Woodlands. Conroe is no longer the small town it used to be and is continuing to grow and develop but if one plans their errands wisely you can schedule your travel outside of busy work traffic hours. I'm lucky to have found this place!

Woodside Manor has a unique design here in Conroe, It offers plenty of opportunities for those who wish to live an active Sr. life.

This place is always closed during business hours. I'm counting this as a no go.

Very happy I think we have been here total of 5 or 6 years and have no desire to move or change.

The maintenance staff completes the work request in a timely and courtesy manner. Thanks for taking care of my problems, great job.

Living here at Woodside Manor is nice, quite, the staff are friendly and the place is kept clean and it feels like home. I love the location of this place being close to town, shopping, grocery stores , hospital,doctors and churches.
