Property Ratings at Woodstone at Croasdaile Farm
We have been here now for 5 months and are very impressed with Woodstone. The apartments are in fantastic shape and well laid out. Beyond that, Croasdaile devotes considerable resources into maintaining the property. I have watched them spend enormous hours doing grounds maintenance this winter. Very impressive. On the rare chance that we have had a maintenance issue, they are very quick to respond and always do a thorough repair. Woodstone is highly recommended.
Woodstone at Croasdaile Farm is an amazing spot. My husband and I have been here a little over a month and we love it. Wonderful walking trails and a nice gym. Sonia was super helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend!
I lived at Croasdaile Farm for 2.5 years and absolutely loved my time there. From the start, the neighbors in my building were incredibly welcoming and I am still in contact with several of them even after moving out several months ago. The apartment itself was lovely, very quiet, and I never had any major issues. Maintenance staff were very prompt and courteous and friendly. One of the things I loved most was that the Woodstone Apartments are nestled beside a retirement community and surrounded by nice housing so even though it isn't gated I always felt safe. There are also wonderful trails and places to walk/run around the neighborhood and it's very dog friendly as well. It is a short drive from the hospital and incredibly close to a Harris Teeter and Starbucks. If you are looking to live in Durham and want to be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown or away from Duke's campus and having to live near undergrads, look no further than Croasdaile! Absolutely wonderful community and place to live! If I had not been accepted to grad school and moving to another area I would have stayed!
3 years ago I moved to Durham and was looking for a safe, quite and beautiful area. Woodstone Apartments did not disappoint, in fact exceeded all expectations. An extremely safe neighborhood with beautiful scenery and walking paths. Very quite complex for the night shifter who needs to sleep in the day time. Kind and respectful neighbors. Management excels at their job, never had an issue and they were always pleasant to work with as their attitudes are kind and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMEND living at Woodstone Apartments.
I lived at Woodstone for two years. It was my first apartment ever, and I could not have lived in a better place! The grounds, the trails for walking or running, the facilities, everything is just great. Whenever I have had troubles or issues, the administrative staff and maintenance team were always right on time and kind. My only issue that was never really resolved was the fact that my bedroom in the back with the bathroom detached (this is in a 2 bed, 2 bath) had really poor circulation regarding the heat and the air; I would wake up freezing in the winter and sweating in the summer. I was essentially told to leave my door open to receive better circulation, which I felt compromised my privacy living with a roommate, so I eventually just found ways to make it work, but that was something that I heard was an issue across buildings in both phases 1 and 2 of the complex. That was the only thing that I ever had a true issue with, but I don't think that that takes away from the greatness that Woodstone is overall! And, I hope that that is something that the complex can make better for future residents!
This is a beautiful property that is very well-maintained, comfortable, and safe. The amenities (particularly the walking trails and fitness centers) are very convenient. Set back from the main road, the complex location feels nice and secluded while being close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Finally, Sonia and Debbie have been so welcoming, and the neighbors are friendly. Very glad to live here!
Excellent complex to live in! Whenever I've had maintenance issues, they've been resolved very quickly, often within 24 hrs. The property is beautiful, always well kept. The property manager is extremely helpful & responsive to any questions/concerns.
Truly a great Place to live, cannot recommend it enough!
Been here for over a year now and absolutely love it! Management is friendly and helpful with all issues, very professional, if you have an issue they will gladly fix it! Great location super conveinent to tons of stuff, overall amazing apartments!
Simple, the property manager is very rude! She has "NO" consideration for the tenants! They do not provide adequate time when scheduling maintenance in your apartment. They leave a note the afternoon before and you may not receive the note until late evening (provided the wind doesn't blow it off the door). If you do not return until late evening this does not allow adequate time to plan for pets that cannot be present during their scheduled maintenance. I had to reschedule work activities three times because of this! Apartment was dirty when we moved in, they painted over dirt and hair, oven filthy, used wrong caulk in bathrooms and it washes away as you shower, leaks around sink fixtures, doors must be slammed to close which disturbs your neighbors and many people complain. Thermostats are 10 degrees off and some rooms heat to 70 while the back room is 60, HVAC outside of bedroom on lower level and it sounds like a freight train, you will not sleep without earplugs. Outside lawn is always taller than most and leaves not cleaned up on back side of building where most of us prefer to walk our pets. Only one cable service option and if you have Verizon wireless you cell service is great, if you are with another provider then forget it. This place has curb appeal just don't get caught in the glamour!
Great manager. Wonderful community. Best location.
