Property Ratings at Woodview Apartments
Kid friendly. Amazing neighbors. Easy ways to pay rent. Affordable. No complaints
I been here For 2 years Never Had a Problem with anyone Rent is reasonable. Management Is Great. When connecting management about repairs there wore done in a timely manner Good place to live And 5 Minutes away From My Job ?????????? Cameras systems in Garage and all over the apartment buildings ??
Hi I recently just moved out and it was horrible there were rats and bugs and the people dogs don't get put on the leash at all and there was a pit bull and it bit my grandmother and she had to go to the hospital and in the summer there are raccoons in the back the place is just nasty I wouldn't recommend anyone move there at all.
0 stars! They are inconsistent- they don't care. The office is closed half of the time, they lose work order forms. But when it comes to money they are quick to respond and put eviction notices after a couple days that rent was due. They don't answer their calls but will answer text messages- UNPROFESSIONAL. A lot of opportunities need to happen. Management and service is absolutely horrible.
Make sure you fill out the form for your apartments current condition when you first move in and note every single thing that is wrong(I mean EVERY single thing!) They will hit you with very ridiculous charges when you move out to prevent you from getting your security deposit back. I was livid to see the things they charged me with i.e regular wear and tear of living in the apartment for two years plus false accusations of things wrong in the apartment. I would not even rate this place 1 star.
I’m very disappointed that I moved to this location. From the day I signed my lease I had began to receive very poor service from the management team here. Manager began to be very rude and disrespectful towards me when ever I would submit a work order request for all the many things that are WRONG with my apartment/ building(multiple broken washer and dryers, broken locks on doors, ceiling fan knocking, leaking ceiling, air conditioner leaking onto my carpet, mold in the tub, towel kept stopping up,mice dropping found near patio door, etc). I had not been living here even 30 days before Manager began to make treats to evict me, I made several request to speak with Corporate and denied by Manager then began to make “FALSE ACCUSATIONS“ claiming I was smoking marijuana in my apartment so they she could evict me.
Management scheduled me to come in to sign on a room. I called off work for the day. Finally get a response from a message the day before saying that she gave the room to someone else. I called in and she started yelling at me that i was wasting her time while i was trying to explain how she handled the situation unproffessionally. I will never live there and i will make sure that everyone that i know never lives there.
This is the worst place to rent in Gurnee. The management are very rude and unprofessional. The maintenance is untrained and their work needs constant repair. The front doors are either broken or very difficult to open. The parking lot is dark at night and is a known spot for nonresidents to come and do drugs or have sex. The "play ground" is a joke constant sun beating down on it so the kids cant play on it. The people with dogs either hate this building as well or are just poor dog owners and let the dogs use the hallway, stairwells, and elevator as a bathroom. You are better off spending a little bit more money on a better place. You will regret moving in
Way overpriced apartments. Only window air conditioners, but none in the living room. Insect, spider, & bee/wasp problems. Office staff always claims to be too busy to help. They close at least 1-2 hours early every day. Washers and dryers are often broken, but the staff gives you a hard time about refunding your money. The office staff complains about the tenants to other tenants. They also yell at tenants when a issue needs to be addressed and they even yell at you. They sign for packages, but don't inform you that they have it. Water leaks in many units. Main door lock is messed up and is difficult to open. The hallways constantly wreak of "skunk". They don't plow or salt as often as they should in the winter. The police are at the complex a couple times a week.
Woodview Apartments is a friendly community atmosphere. It's a great place for families. There is a wonderful attached underground garage. It is pet friendly. It's very close to shopping, Great America, and numerous restaurants. It's part of a great school district. The apartments have decent storage and closets. The maintenance guy lives on site. The kitchens have dishwashers, there is a community laundry facility in the buildings. There is an elevator in the building too. It's located on the edge of the Forrest preserve so one may see lots of wildlife too. The residents are incredibly friendly.
