Property Ratings at Woodwind Apartments
New management in 2021 is raising rent by a ludicrous amount, removing trash dumpsters near buildings so tenants have to drive to take out their trash, and are completely unresponsive to any questions or complaints, all while making no improvements to the property whatsoever.
No one in the management office no maintenance to fix issues nearly every neighbor has a problem or problems with bugs, electric problems, plumbing and so on I can not wait till my lease is up just terrible
I've lived in Woodwind Apartments on and off for over 14 years until recently. I've been there through different management and changes over those years and to be honest, this current management is the worst I've seen in those years. There are new charges which are expected with new companies, yet with more expensive charges, less service?? When i moved in again, my apartment had not been cleaned and repairs that i was told would be fixed weren't and took weeks to fix. If you attempt to call the office it is difficult to even have someone pick up the phone or return your call. I moved out in August and it is January and have still not received my deposit. When I have gotten ahold of staff they were kind, but not necessarily helpful. I had a couple friends that wanted to move in but i would not recommend it. If you choose to live here I hope you have a better experience.
My family has lived at Woodwind Apartments for over three years now. Although we are outgrowing our apartment, we have been content with the location and amenities provided to us. Our two bedroom includes two balconies, washer/dryer, dishwasher and intercom access to the buildings. The neighborhood is quiet and safe to raise children. The apartments also include playground, pool and gym owned by a local couple. The price of rent is fair compared to other complexes in the area. I would/have recommended Woodwind Apartments to others.
Let me start off by saying that every apartment complex, no matter where you go, has its pros and its cons. There is always going to be down sides. What is important is that you find one where the former is greater than the latter. Woodwind apartments certainly has its mixture of both. There are some that say the positive is more than the negative and vice versa. I will not be giving an opinion, but facts instead. First I will start off with visuals. The complex itself is very well kept up by the employed lawn care. The grass is always green during the spring, fall, and summer, and it is never allowed to grow too high. The property is surrounded by an abundance of trees, giving it a less city like and more of a nature-esque feel. All signs within the complex have recently been repainted to keep up its professional appearance. The buildings themselves are also aesthetically pleasing. Next we move on to the staff. As far as maintenance goes they prioritize, like all complexes. A leak in your ceiling for example, will be more important than a broken garbage disposal. There are only two men in charge of maintenance both here and that another complex, so they may understandably take longer to respond to repairs. When they do arrive however, they're always courteous and address the problem right away. The clerk that works at the office is also courteous and well mannered. Cleaning crews for the building's hallways are seldomly seen, but always do an excellent job when they are present. Finally we look at all of the features and activities availale at Woodwind apartments. The complex offers 1 decent sized tennis court, a pool within approximately 4 foot deep shallow end and 7 foot deep deep end, 1 run-of-the-mill playground, and one large basketball court. There is also a gym owned by a separate proprietor that is connected to the office. It is nothing fancy, but it has a wide variety of equipment that will help give you the workout you need. The apartments also have one car garages that can be used for parking and / or storage for an additional $35 per month. I will conclude this review by saying all neighbors are courteous during the day and night in terms of noise. You will often wonder if you are the only one living in your building. 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments are available, as well as a separate area for condos. Each apartment comes with its own washer and dryer, removing the need to drive to a laundromat.
