Property Ratings at Worthington Commons
There is mold in the walls. Nothing is ever fixed correctly, it’s just “patched up”. They charged me for a piece of wood that was in the basement when I first moved in when it was called Karl Village and when I asked about it they said they have no record it was there before I moved in. Way over priced for what you will get. My car was broken into twice, normally you pay more for location, you DO NOT want to live here. If you look into the vents you will find mold. This previous tenant is suing Karl Village (the owners before Worthington Commons) because he’s suffering from health issues because of the mold. Why is it called Worthington Commons? It is NOT in Worthington.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! We have lived here for 4 years but since new management has taken over it no longer feels like home. This new company is just worried about curb appeal...they fix nothing...we've put in multiple work orders yet they are never completed. The grounds are littered with trash and garbage. The old managers would at least clean up the grounds but the new ones don't, they just send out nasty letters. Today we got a letter stating the property might become a pet free property. So basically if that comes into effect everyone with pets has to get rid of their pets or get evicted. Do yourself a favor and find a place with more respectful management .

New owners, new management, so a lot happening, beginning with outdoors. Change is never easy, but seeing the results is good. Haven't had any issues from either management team, new or old. The only bugs I've ever seen were an occasional spider, and a few flies. I have had conversations with owners and management team that frequently visit the property to view progress (I surmise)and feel that they listen and take my concerns into consideration, so I have no complaints.

Finally some much needed changes are happening as it is under new owners and new people on site. The current residents that were best buds with the last office manager are the ones that don't like the changes but it was definitely needed. The new manager cares and actually gets things done where the last owner couldnt even collect rent on site. It is much more convenient now that someone is in the office to deal with any issues directly. So far the new maintenance has been great too!

My wife and I have lived here for 12 years now. Prior to new management taking over only a few months ago we were looking to move when our last lease ended. Since the new company has took over the community has received some much needed TLC. We gave up asking for maintenance to fix some things in our home but this new company really cares. It may still take awhile for issues to be fixed but when they are fixed it is done correctly the first time. Even though the rent has gone up we are happy to say we renewed our lease this month and are looking forward to the continued improvements.

My place has roaches ...when I first moved in I saw a couple ..they didn't tell me before I signed lease...an have bad attitudes about fixing the problem..10months later still roaches!!!...disgusting!!!!(long story but yea don't move in here....)

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to review our property. Since new management has acquired the property in June 2012, we have integrated preventative pest control maintenance which includes roaches. If you are still having an issue, please contact our office and we will get this issue resolved.
