Property Ratings at Worthington Terrace
I lived here upon graduating college and starting my first job. The price was reasonable and the space was livable. Sure it had its fair share of problems like a few bugs and plumbing issues, but it's worth the price you are paying and I would recommend it to anyone starting out, trying to save or in a bind. Safe, warm and spacious. Quiet neighbors and kind staff.
I have been trying to contact them for over a week and haven't got a email or a phone call back. Left two voicemails and nothing. Drove to the office during business hours and no one was there. I really wanted to move here but I'm close to giving up.
First of all the windows were only single pane, it appeared that at one time there might have been storm windows but they are not there. The window condensation freezes on the inside of the windows and water drips down the sills under the carpet. In addition the air conditioner on the roof has condensation removal water lines that leak into the apartments under the carpet. They also had to replace the roof on the building for leaks and so when we went to move our deposit was kept because the carpet was ruined from all the water. Not our fault but I guess they needed our deposit to replace THEIR carpet. In their own words we were good tennants never had any issues other than their maintenance and we never complained. They treated us horribly and kept our money....This place is horribly run down, good tennants should not have to forfeit their deposit because the landlord needs money to maintain the property.
My husband and I were mostly looking for place in the area remotely (online and by phone) since I'm moving from about 2 hrs away. Called twice on two separate occasions on weekdays (Friday and Monday) during business hours and only ever got an answering message, so I don't know who works in the office, but no one answers the phones. We were in the area today and tried to stop in, since I couldn't make an appointment, and again, during weekday business hours, the leasing office had a "sorry we missed you" sign on it with an 800 number to call...called it and it just led to a phone survey to win a Carribbean cruise. So I just gave up entirely. It really shouldn't be that hard to contact property management.
