Located about 90 miles north of Cuba, Key West is renowned for being the southernmost point of the continental United States. Key West is also regarded for being one of Florida’s most iconic tourist destinations, often spurring images of giant resorts, margaritas, and gift shops in the minds of many.
While it’s true that the island city is brimming with tropical-themed bars and restaurants — and nowhere in town is more than a few blocks from amazing ocean views — the majority of Key West is made up of residential neighborhoods. So it’s no surprise that Key West offers a wide variety of apartments and houses available for rent within walking distance of countless beautiful beaches and vibrant attractions.
Dozens of historic buildings and landmarks intermingle with the extensive nightlife and dining options (which include exceptional key lime pie offerings) to create a one-of-a-kind environment.

We need someone who clean the hallways and elevators. The apartments have beautiful supplies and have a good space for the family. The pool area is very pretty
Apartment community amenities buildings are really good. The only downside is building hallway stairs and garages are very dirty. In addition to that the trash compactor is always piled with trash all around. Sadly, the trash is not placed inside the trash compactor as it should. Another point Is it would be nice for a better communication throughout the community. Example elevator went down and was not functioning after a long period of waiting the elevator was fully repaired, but no notification was given to the residents in the building.
The staff was patient and worked with me to get mean apartment in a short timeline. It was easy to get moved in and my neighbors seem very nice and polite.
I love the community I'm feeling safe and happy to here in this family, it's a good community very demure and classy , no matter what we different color but we feel it's our home, nothing to regretting.
Literally the only option for pet friendly, affordable living in the keys.. there is no where else. Very sound proof units- which is always a plus.
As an active-duty resident living on a fixed income, it is highly inconvenient and frustrating to experience sudden rent increases. The cost does not align with the square footage of the apartments, making it difficult to justify the value. Additionally, the community’s overall cleanliness is concerning. The trash areas, hallways, and landscaping are consistently unkempt, which significantly detracts from the quality of living. Improvements in these areas are essential to meet the expectations of tenants and justify the cost of residency.
The community is new and clean, in general, but you can notice some residents are a little careless about the place. Could have some trash can available.
Love my apartment. I just wish the hallways were cleaned regularly and that the trash area was cleaned regularly as well. The compactor is always gross and makes you not want to touch it.
This is a perfect community . The place is affordable.we have gym, pool and may other things to enjoy our stay in that community. When we place a request the response is always come quickly.
Living in an apartment can be a great choice for many reasons. One of the main advantages is the sense of community that often comes with apartment living. Being in close proximity to your neighbors can foster a friendly environment where you can make new friends and feel a part of a community. Additionally, many apartment complexes offer amenities such as pools, gyms, and common areas that provide opportunities for socializing and recreation right at your doorstep.
Brand new apartment but cheap paint job and rebuild. Really small with no storage room. Started out affordable but now pricing is getting ridiculous
Thank you for giving me and my family a safe space to live. My resident experience was both challenging and rewarding, providing me with opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Living in a structured environment, I learned the importance of time management, teamwork, and adaptability. I built meaningful relationships with others who shared similar goals, which fostered a sense of community and support. The responsibilities I took on helped me develop critical skills and confidence in my abilities. Overall, this experience shaped my perspective and prepared me for future challenges, leaving a lasting impact on my personal and professional journey.
Been living there for 3 years, everything is great! Please continue doing what you do and everything will be great with that little community.
Shannon and Yveline is absolutely amazing. They’ve helped me and my family incredibly over the years. I can’t thank them enough for the professionalism and support they give to us all at wreckers cay.
Too many people abusing the allowable number of people per unit and too many unauthorized vehicles occupying spaces. Too often there are loud gatherings of tenants drinking and carrying on in the parking areas under the buildings.
Love the apartment layouts, modern design and appliances, and amenities. The community is friendly and welcoming, neighbors are always greeting each other. The biggest down size is the prices, continuation of rent increase, monthly fees being tacked on. But, it's still on the cheaper end of the area.
Very expensive but a great place to call home. The views are amazing and they work hard to keep the property clean. I am going on 3 years here.
Great community and nice apartments, pool area and residents lounge are a great option to relax on your days off, nice size gym enough to keep you active and working out with essentials
It was a blessing being able to move here, I was stationed here in 2022 and was in dire need of a place and my fiance and I found these beautiful apartments. Beautiful area and good neighbors
It is an excellent and comfortable place, here I am with my family and I feel very happy, very content living in peace and harmony. We have beautiful places for children to play, I love spending a day in the pool with my family. Always safe and clean! Don't forget about good maintenance management.
We’ve had a great experience so far here at Wreckers Cay. Some of the residents are rude about parking, and sometimes there are lots of people congregating under the buildings.
I’ve had no issues living here! The gated community is a nice sense of safety. The office and workers are very quick to respond to any calls to service!
Great unit great apartments. I feel lucky to be here it is blessing for me and my family. Really nice utilities and a brand new unit and the price is very reasonable for key west. Great spot!
It’s a great community to leave! Everyone who is working here are really taking care of the residents! Everything is happening on time, like inspections etc. That’s the way to keep everything nice and clean!
It's mostly great! There are always issues with the gate, the trash area and the grilling/pool area. However, those are always due to other residents not respecting our community enough to keep it clean and follow rules or just have common courtesy.
I think we need a person to clean the hallways, the public areas and the elevators. I’m disappointed because the elevator had a lot of time out of service
Maintenance issues get handled quickly which is very important. If there are other issues notifications are sent out quickly to rectify these issues.
I like to be here specially because you feel like you’re in a community, nice and clean. The only thing i don’t like it’s because every year you have to renew the apartment like you just applied instead of just resigning the contract without all these papers.
