Canton’s recognition as one of the safest cities in Michigan is reason enough to move there. A strong focus on education, Canton is well on its way to becoming one of the fastest growing communities in the state.
The area is ideal for families. It has a well-maintained park system which includes Independence Park and Heritage Park. Here, residents can bask in an afternoon of walking, watching their kids play sports, and bond over a picnic in the grass.
Commuters have a short drive to and from the cities (yes, two cities!). Canton is just a few miles from the city limits of Ann Arbor and Detroit. When you live here, most of your conveniences are located along Ford Road, one of the main thoroughfares.

Property Ratings at Wyndchase
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere as this place is being marketed as luxury apartments....maybe they were back when they were built over 20 years ago. The appliances in my unit are OLD and look like they've been beat up for the past 20 years, not to mention they aren't energy efficient nor do they work properly but don't bother putting in a maintenance request as maintenance is a joke...I get home to find a note one day that states Johnny, maintenance guy, was in my unit that day and my garbage disposal was working fine....of course it was as I didn't put in a work order. Another maintenance guy walked in on me while I was in the restroom as he didn't even ring the bell or knock...just walked right in. I could go on and on about the issues that I've had in my short time of being here. Save yourself a lot of money and frustration and don't rent here.
I've lived here over three years and if it weren't for Covid messing up the economy, I'd have never stayed past year 1. This place is NOT luxury. It's the definition of painting garbage white. The staff is so rude with no concern for the residents. Bad snow removal, terrible maintenance, poorly planned construction. It's an absolute nightmare.
I have joined in this apartment last month . The staff is very kind and really cooperative I am so happy to be in this apartments . I would like to appreciate specially Justin for helping me to get the apartment documentation and other stuff . Also the maintenance is great they fixed immediately some of the requirements I requested.
I have had to beg for 2 years to have a drainage issue resolved and now have begged and pleaded for 7 months to get the garden outside my house restored after they ripped it up. Their professional conduct is absolutely lacking and living here has been nothing but a headache - I should not have to beg like a dog for services I pay ('luxury' rental rates I might add) for. In short, don't waste your time or your money.
Negatives: They come into your apartment CONSTANTLY. I’ve never had this many “inspections” at any other apartment. And they don’t do appointments. It’s like they prefer you not to be there. There is nowhere to park. Yes, you get a garage. But if you have two drivers in your home, one of you is walking two blocks to your car. The snow removal is awful. I had to call into work once because I couldn’t get my car out of the parking spot. It has improved since last winter but is still terrible. It is an ice rink today - no salt. They didn’t open the pool until AUGUST. What are we paying for? They butchered the trees by our back patio into ugly stubs. Now the view is hideous. They call these luxury, but they aren’t really. Very little storage space- closets are small and the kitchen cabinets are tiny. “Emergency” maintenance? Lol hardly. I got locked out of my apartment because THEY entered it and locked it, even though my boyfriend kept it unlocked today because I forgot my key. I’m sitting in the freezing rain. And they know it. The closets fall off their hinges. Cheap. The living rooms are really dark and cave like. They’re also awkwardly designed for furniture placement. Poor air/heat circulation. Positives: Paint and carpet are nice. That’s it. Can’t wait to move. My boyfriend and I have something we hate on our minds about this place daily.
Property Manager at Wyndchase, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear that you have been dissatisfied with our service at Wyndchase and sincerely apologize for that. I assure you that our residents’ satisfaction, and safety is extremely important to us. Unfortunately due to the city’s rental inspection program, we were required to have frequent inspections this past year that were out of our control. And although, we strive to select the best contractors as possible, snow removal and landscaping is not an exact science. We appreciate you taking the time in providing the feedback, and please trust that we have relayed this to the necessary parties. We are always looking to improve our residents’ experience and would be happy to talk to you about what we could do better. Please contact the manager at the Wyndchase leasing office at 734-844-2400, or email us at wyndchase@singhmail.com.
When my boyfriend and I moved in, everything went downhill. On the first day we noticed a giant crack in the front tiles inside our townhouse near the front door. The massive crack was covered up with "walk-in" paper when we went to view the actual home we were moving into. When we went through everything that was wrong with our place and filled out the complex's sheet, I was told that I would have to live with the giant crack in my home because it was considered "normal wear & tear". I was also told that maintenance would come in in a Tuesday or Thursday to attend to all the things that needed to be fixed. They didn't come out for over a month. There was a window that had warped in the upstairs master bedroom that we were told would be fixed by Canton glass "soon" but took over two months to be replaced. We moved in the summer and the window made it so hot that it felt like the AC didn't even work/reach our upstairs. If you have an issue with your washer or dryer be prepared to be told that nothing is wrong with either. We put in two complaints about our dryer not drying our clothes and us having to run it twice and each time they would advise us to clean it out. As for the washer, it would never stop clicking and was excessively loud. We were told that nothing was wrong with it. Also, never have any packages delivered to your home, I had an order of contacts stolen off my front porch/patio area. The staff at the clubhouse is clueless when it comes it helping anyone out. The "fitness Center" is always filthy, we went twice, found dust, grime and food all over the equipment, not to mention it's super old, just like all the appliances in the homes, and it's all so wobbly it's probably a lawsuit waiting to happen. We were never able to park in front of or near our home, people would have numerous guests that wouldn't park at the clubhouse parking lot, hence taking up spaces for actual residents. We were told that this was a quite place and no one ever complained about noise yet many of our neighbors would be blasting music in their cars past midnight or go outside and have loud phone conversations and walk us up. There was also a house of young kids that lived in the building next to ours that constantly threw parties and made the area smell like weed. For the cost of these "Luxury" townhomes and apartments, you'd think Singh would take better care of their customers and male necessary updates and matinence in and around the homes, but no such luck.
I currently live in one of the townhomes here at Wyndchase and I love it! The office staff is always willing to help with any maintenance requests that I need to put in and maintenance is always here within a reasonable time. You can really tell that the property manager knows what she is doing, anytime I have contacted her about any problems or concerns she is always willing to help get a solution to my problem. I have just renewed my lease for another year and hopefully I will be able to renew next year as well.
I've been looking for an apartment complex in Canton for a couple of weeks. After visiting Wyndchase my search is over! The office staff was very pleasant. The apartments and townhomes are great. They have a washer in dryer in the unit and an attached garage, they're located close to the expressway, and Ford Rd. is less than 5 minutes away. Fingers crossed the unit I am interested in will be available for my May move in!
Pros: Wyndchase Apartments are nice to live in. The apartment that I stay in is spacious, the area is quiet, five minute drive to local restaurants, shopping, gym, and theatre. So there are a ton of things to do. Cons: Parking is horrendous, expensive
