An hour northwest of Minneapolis on Interstate 94, Saint Cloud is a charming small city on the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Cloud State University is central to the community, both literally and figuratively: in addition to the 15,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the city’s biggest employers, and a dedicated fan base supports the school’s hockey program (the legendary Herb Brooks coached the Huskies back in the 1980s and his name now graces the Saint Cloud State hockey arena).
Just north of campus, Downtown is a charming riverside district with a strip of restaurants, bars, galleries, and performance venues along St. Germain Street. The city is home to over ninety public parks, ensuring that you’re never more than a few blocks from trails, lakes, and relaxing green spaces. For weekend excursions into the great outdoors, Saint Cloud is only a short drive away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and Mille Lacs Lake.

Property Ratings at Wyndemere Apartments
I've lived at Wyndemere for over a year now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences here. We just renewed our lease for our second year. My family and I have loved calling this place our home. The bus stop for the children comes right to the end of the driveway entrance making it super easy for my children to get to and from school. Megan in the office has always been helpful and taken the time to help us with all of our needs. Including helping us with setting up our Spectrum box when we had issues with that! Maintenance has always been quick to address any of our maintenance needs as well. When our refrigerator went out and stopped working, we immediately got a new one to replace it. There is no waiting for anything. I would recommend Wyndemere to anyone looking for a place to live with management who cares.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! We are thrilled to hear that you have had a positive experience with our team at Wyndemere. Please don't hesitate to reach out in the future if you ever need anything, we are always here to help!
I have a two bedroom unit with a washer and dryer hook up and the bedrooms are Huge. I decided to rent a new washer and dryer from the management company. Price is reasonable for the area and close to work. Haven't had any issues yet.
We have been here two months and have no complaints. People are friendly and it is well maintained. The staff and management exceeds on all counts
I lived here for about a year and a half and I would never recommend it to anyone. The only reason I moved in here was because it was the quickest place that I could find that would let me have my dog as they have no weight restriction and very few breed restrictions. I swear something was always broken. My door to my apartment had to be drilled in because it was jammed. The main apartment door was ALWAYS broken or jammed. It was dirty, loud neighbors above me, and my bathroom had a huge leak from the apartment above me. It was very expensive for what it was. Save your money and do your research if you have a pet! If I sat on it I could probably think of a million more negative experiences.
caring. Had an issue with AC once and not only did they come out and fix it but checked on me the next day before the weekend to make sure it was still good because it was a long weekend coming up. The office staff is also just as amazing. They are responsive, kind, and professional. They all seem to care that your residence with them is a quality experience.
I love this apartment complex. If I've ever had a problem with anything in my apartment, I would call or walk to the office and they would have someone very pleasant help me later that day. This was the nicest, most updated, and cost friendly apartment that my boyfriend and I found while apartment hunting. Although they allow smoking, I have never smelled smoke in my own apartment, and I've never heard people talking in the apartments around us. Another plus is that our apartment is the perfect size for our dog who can also enjoy the many parks in our area. I would suggest this place for anyone who's currently apartment hunting, especially if they have a dog or cat moving with them.

Thanks so much for the kind words! Our team is working hard daily to make Wyndemere a great place to live. We are so glad you are enjoying your time here!! Thanks again! Wyndemere Management.
We lived here for a few years while we were looking for a house to buy. This was about the only apartment we could find that would take dogs over 60lbs. The staff was nice and maintenance was good. I would recommend if you have dogs.
These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others."
I been living here for over two years now and the office staff and maintenance have been very helpful. We have a dog and this is a great alternative to renting a house. We plan on moving in two years after graduating college. Would recommend to a friend.
I was moving to the area looking to buy a house. I was able to do a short term lease under six months. The allowed my bigger dogs. Which was very important to me. The apartment that I rented was nice. The area was quiet and safe. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Rent was a little on the higher side due to the short term lease. I would recommend this apartment.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. We are happy that we can allow flexibility for our residents and the ability to have their fluffy friends! Thanks again! Wyndemere Management
It is too expensive for what little is offered. The appliances are outdated and do not work well. All of the maintenance crew quit so nothing gets fixed. I moved into the building because of the secured entrances as I was tired of drunks and people that do not live there from walking in, but the doors are left propped open most of the time. Rent does not include utilities, which are added up and divided between all of the residents. The building is going down hill, but I was offered the opportunity to renew my lease for an extra $150 dollars a month plus utilities with no improvements to my apartment. You also have to pay more non refundable fees than any place I have lived.
I moved out of this complex Oct 1, 2015. I lived there through 3 leases. The reasons that I'm giving it such a poor review is because I was threatened by and lied to my face by the Regional Manager. I tried to contact the Corporate Office several times to no avail. The property is not maintained well either. My bedroom window leaked for well over a year and the Corporate Office turned down his request for it to be fixed. Now all of the Maintenance people are gone. It tells you something when they are all gone within 4 months. I hope if you live here you never need to deal with the Regional Manager!
This apartment has alot to offer. It's a safe place to live, and vary animal friendly!
Plus Side: Fairly cheap place to rent for a two bedroom. Allows both dogs and cats of any size. Good location. Many closets for storage. Balconies/patios. Very large master suites. Down Side: Carpeting is disgusting, smells, and needs to be replaced. Kitchens are tiny, but manageable. Complex manager can be extremely flaky (when trying to pick up packages, showing up for meetings, answering office phone, ect.)
After caring for my grandparents for the past ten years, I accepted a new teaching job and relocated nine hours away in order to raise my teenage son closer to the rest of our family. Because I was moving so far away and teaching ten hour summer school days, I didn't have time to drive up to Minnesota and check out apartments in person. Instead, I used Apartments.com and narrowed down my apartment search using the many selection choices available on the site. My building allows any size dog, has a fenced in area for my dogs to experience a little of the off-leash freedom they're used to from our yard, and is located in a very quiet section of St. Cloud. Apartments.com also allowed me to narrow my search down to apartments that would accommodate other entities my son and I were used to from living in a house. Not only is our apartment close to the same square footage as our previous home, but it also allows for washer/dryer hookup which is stowed neatly in the bathroom, taking up far less space than I imagined. The large, open design of the living room and kitchen combined with the easy flow onto the balcony utilizes the square footage brilliantly, and the sliding glass door as well as the many large windows throughout the apartment provide us with the natural light we love. Living here doesn't feel like we've scaled or traded down. I feel as if Apartments.com allowed us to transition smoothly into an apartment that--in less than a week--already feels like home. And we rented it sight-unseen!
The one problem i have is in the summer since the building isn't air conditioned, but its fine otherwise
Management is very responsive and willing to help. Maintenance always comes promptly upon request. The residence is nice and quiet and other residents are respectful of each other.
