Property Ratings at Wynnefield Terrace
Be weary of the other reviews you see for the property because they solicit reviews. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to live here. This apartment complex specializes in patch-up work, which means they never actually fix any of the issues. I was left in my apartment for over a year with maintenance request left unfulfilled. The apartment complex itself is old and outdated. Property Management is so nonchalant that they called me a few days before I moved out to fix the ceiling that caved in, in the bathroom — I laughed at them On the phone and told me they can do what they want because I was moving out. But this is what you get for choosing to live cheaply

Thank you, Wynnefield Terrace Residential Team - wynnefield@montium.com
I've lived here for a year and the former property manager did not assist with much. They get a new one and nothing changes. I spent 6 months pitting in maintenance requests for my bedroom ceiling falling in; when some people show up to fix it they tare down the ceiling put some incomplete piece of dry wall up and said they will be back the following Monday. Wednesday comes up and they still haven't shown to finish the job, I have been kept out of my bedroom for a week since they started fixing it. They will definitely waste your time or hire someone else to do it.
1. If you like ignored maintenance request. 2. If you like emails and messages ignored. 3. If you like fearing the rain due to exposed bricks outside. 4. If you like purchasing towels every month because you don’t want the water all over your furniture and electronics. 5. If you like house insects you have never seen in your life. 6. If you like rent increases for ‘maintenance’ and have holes in your walls. 7. If you like uneven floors due to the amount of water underneath. 8. If you like management company (Montium) who does not reimburse their maintenance team for purchases. Therefore maintenance buys cheap supplies. HURRY UP AND FILL OUT THE APPLICATION!

Avoid moving in before checking every item in the apartment. I have been in for a week and have nobody has responded or provided assistance with fixing my toilet and with the lack of cold water from the bathroom sink and shower. All calls have been ignored or sent to voicemail.

I've been living in Wynnefield Terrace for almost 4 years. This new property management company is horrible and one of the main reasons I'm moving when my lease is up! The main office/maintenance never answers the phone, not even for emergencies. Putting a maintenance request online isn't any better either. I had leak in my bedroom due to a brick pointing issue and it took them months for them to fix it. Every time it rained, I had to rearrange my dresser and TV to make sure that they wouldn't get damaged. There is also obvious water damage in my room due to the leak. Although I don't have an issue with roaches, the other bugs are ridiculous. Spider crickets, millipedes, beetles, and other pests that are due to moisture coming from the basement. Do not move here!
I am a new tenant, moved in 08/21. Within this short time I have realized what a huge mistake it was to move in here! The management (Montium) is a joke! No one picks up the phone when you call about maintenance issues. The apartments are infested with rodents and roaches (note that I am a clean freak, so it’s not a cleanliness issue). The appliances are OLD and don’t work! There’s no laundry in the building even if they advertise that. The list goes on!
I got in contact with the property about a tour. We set a date, when the date came the person I was supposed to meet was nowhere to be found. When I finally got in contact with her 15 minutes after our meeting time, the individual made it obvious her last tour went over schedule & she simply did not feel like meeting that afternoon so we rescheduled. When it came time to tour on the rescheduled date, the individual I was supposed to be meeting again was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. The leasing office then decided to send a maintenance worker to give me a tour. I was there to see a 1 bedroom & he showed me three 2 bedrooms before he had to call management to find the out where the 1 bedroom was. Eventually, I saw the apartment, applied, & was approved. After receiving news I was approved I was told someone would be in contact the next day about a deposit & paperwork. No one did. About a week or 2 later I called asking if I can see my specific unit to get measurements. Someone scheduled a meeting date. When I arrived to meet NO ONE WAS THERE. When I called to see where the person I was meeting was she told me she never had a unit to show me because I never gave them a deposit & the person who told me I was approved must’ve misinformed me because the unit is no longer available & if I’m still interested she could arrive in 20 minutes. They are unprofessional & will waste your time.
Yvonne is amazing! Made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions!
Yvonne is sweet and to the point the process was very easy.
Michelle and Yvonne were very helpful and prompt with email questions and response. Overall, I am happy with the service they both provided. They are very professional and reliable. Keep up the good work guys. I highly recommend Wynnefield Terrace.very helpful and prompt
The apartment is in a great neighborhood, and the rent is reasonable. I lived here for a while and it was doable, it wasn't the best place but it definitely wasn't the worst. You are not that far from center city, shopping or parks to exercise or go on hikes. The street is not that busy so it is fairly quiet, however in the summer I do hear the concerts from the Mann Center but they are not obnoxiously loud. I can hear my neighbors loud and clear, and I am sure they hear me too. Its not a bad place for a first apartment.
