Property Ratings at Wynnewood Park Apartments
So management seems more content on trying to nickel and dime you for every little thing than repairing and replacing all that is wrong with the complex. Constant water outages, trees that were leaning heavily not taken care of till during a storm then broke off and damaged peoples vehicles (which you are on your own for) and even a tree damaged their own brand new pool fence which wasnt necessary when so many apartments required repair. Barely able to get ahold of them, and recently they only allow 'emergency' repair so you cant even get items in your apartment fixed. Rent is super expensive for what little they offer, with limited services all around, especially during winter. Better hope you can dig your own car out because they will plow you in or even hit your vehicle with their plow. Look elsewhere and save yourself the trouble.

This place is the worst complex I’ve ever lived in/been in. Maintenance has no clue what they’re doing most of the time. Management will write down your issue, but wont get to your issue if it isn’t important enough to them. There are bugs all over the place as if there’s an infestation, and that isn’t important enough to have an exterminator apparently come out. Not to mention the mice when it’s cold out. There were mice all over the apartment for over two months straight last spring resulting in the mice reproducing and me finding baby mice in my kitchen dying in the traps that were laid out. They were in the oven and the stove and the stove was never replaced resulting in mice poop all over the place. You would think hygiene would be very important but apparently not. The infestation with the mice was so bad I started seeing the mice on the living room floor. The rug should’ve been replaced years ago, but obviously no one knows how to replace an old rug or maybe they just don’t want to. So as a result, my kids and I are constantly stepping on the tack strips underneath the rug and cutting our feet. This is not an exaggeration either. When we complain about these inconveniences, were ignored or maintenance acts like it isn’t a big deal and shrugs it off. The apartment I’ve been in should have everything replaced, but clearly the ceiling above the shower with dripping water coming through occasionally and a big crack in it isn’t important enough to fix. I guess the ceiling has to cave in before something’s done. The noise above and below is terrible. I hear everything from people just talking to loud parties and the smell of weed. It’s terrible. This type of place shouldn’t exist, and is way way overpriced for what you’re going to get.

Thank you for your review. We are extremely sorry for the experience you have had in this apartment and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We would like to address these issues specifically so if you could please contact the office and leave a message for the Regional Manager she will return your call as soon as possible. You can also reach us at wynnewoodpark@rpmgt.com. Again, thank you for reaching out and we look forward to hearing from you.
The unit they show you is NOTHING like the apartment you are going to rent. They will show you a lovely, modern style apartment that looks like it stands apart from the crowd with a lovely layout and airy, open spaces; what you're going to get is the same exact unimpressive apartment you can get anywhere else for less money. Of course, you won't know this until it's too late and you're stuck paying premium rates for mediocre digs. Very disappointed, and I am going to be out of there the exact second my current lease is up.

I have been living in the same apartment since July 2013. Since the new owners have taken over the place has not been the same. With only one day's notice I packed up my cats and brought them to NJ so that they would not escape as the replacement was being done. The window in the bedroom was installed incorrectly resulting in a gap above the window. Another time some facade work was being done outside of our bedroom window that I was unaware of. This consisted of a boom lift being hoisted outside of my bedroom window at 7:30 in the morning, resulting in a large amount of noise and a man looking into my bedroom as I was getting ready in the morning. This facade work resulted in disrupting a bee's nest that had apparently nested in the wall of the outside of the apartment. The bees then proceeded to come in through the gap in the improperly installed window, allowing bees to come into the bedroom! When the apartment complex was informed of this they had an exterminator come out and promised the window would be fixed. The exterminator came and sprayed pesticide into the bee's nest but the window was never fixed. The bees then came through the gap in the window to escape the pesticide. So now I had dying bees all over the floor of the bedroom. I eventually took matters into my own hands since I could not rely on the apartment complex to fix matters. The "Ending Lease Early" clause in the contract specifies that the apartment complex must be given written notice at least 60 days in advance. That is all that it states. We went forward with buying the house. When informing the apartment complex of this we were informed that there was a lease buyout program that was not in our original contact which forced us to pay a month's rent. If we had not been here for five years this lease buyout program would have been up to 5 months rent! The lease buyout addendum which was slipped under out door was the lease official seeming paper I have ever seen. There was no place for signatures or any official letterhead or anything. It seems to be something someone made in Word in five minutes. After speaking with a lawyer who agreed that I could have a case since it was not in the original contract but decided to not pursue since the amount of money to retain a lawyer would far outweigh the one month's rent I decided to pay.

Thank you so much for your response. We are very sorry to hear of your experience, and we would like to thank you for living at Wynnewood Park as long as you did. We wish you the best of luck in the future with your new home.
The apartments are beautiful. its nice to have the open field for people with animals and there is a nice pool and little park. only downside is the pool is dirty quite often. other than that the apartments are beautiful and spacious.
It is nothing special but there isn't anything majorly wrong with it. My unit is slightly slanted (a ball placed still on the floor will roll...) but that hasn't been an issue. It had a mildew-type smell when I first moved in (maybe it still does and I have just gotten used to it). It is spacious though and in a good location. No complaints about the landlord or maintenance staff - actually quite like them. I think the units are maybe 100 bucks overpriced for their worth, but what can you do.
