Living here has been an absolute disappointment. The lack of communication is appalling—management rarely sends updates, and good luck trying to get them on the phone; they never answer, even when they're in the office. Maintenance? Completely unreliable. Any special requests are ignored, and the common areas are disgusting. The stairs and hallways are never cleaned, and it’s not uncommon to find worms, spiders, and wasps everywhere. The turnover rate among tenants is alarming, with many new residents clearly not meeting any kind of living criteria. Some openly smoke marijuana in their units, and the smell seeps into the hallways, making it unbearable for neighbors. Despite repeated complaints, management does nothing. The security is a joke. The front gate is constantly broken, allowing anyone off the street to walk right in. What’s the point of paying for a gate card if the gate is never even functioning? The pool and gym are filthy, and outside people frequently use them, which makes it hard to justify the fees we’re charged for these “amenities.” The bathrooms, in particular, are horrendous. The landscapers are careless, blowing debris onto parked cars, and the pest control service, which we’re forced to pay for, is only available on Fridays—if you remember to call ahead. To top it off, the complex recently changed providers without so much as notifying the residents. If you’re considering moving here, think again. The mismanagement, neglect, and lack of basic cleanliness make this place a nightmare to live in. Avoid at all costs.

Communication with tenants is severely lacking. The administration rarely sends email updates, and they consistently fail to answer the phone, even when they are in the office. Additionally, any special instructions left for maintenance are often ignored and not followed through on. Common Areas are consistently dirty, and there is no regular maintenance for the stairs or buildings. Worms, bugs, spiders, and wasps are a common sight. Tenants:There has been noticeable turnover among tenants, with many new residents not seeming to meet the criteria for living here. Security:The front gate is frequently out of order, allowing anyone, including non-residents, to enter freely. This makes the gate card feel pointless plus we paid for. Amenities:The pool and gym are poorly maintained and often dirty especially the bathrooms. To make matters worse, people from outside the complex frequently use these amenities, making it hard to justify the extra fees we pay for them. Landscaping:The landscapers are careless, often blowing leaves and debris around without regard for residents' parked cars. Pest Control:Despite paying a monthly fee, you have to request pest control services, which are only available on Fridays. The exterminators don't cover the entire apartment, and there are no clear instructions provided by the company. Recently, the Yacht Club changed providers without notifying residents, further highlighting the poor communication—they don’t send emails or keep us informed about anything.

Any problem that I have had living in the apartment for the last 2 years was only ever solved by multiple phone calls daily until someone eventually came, maybe a week later. They upgraded the apartment to a “smart home”, and then when I had a problem right after installation, which they took another 4 days before physically coming to my apartment, the manager did what any young person would have done and pulled the plug and plugged it back in. I had a leak in the ceiling in my kitchen, almost another week for them to respond. My washer was staining my clothes, took a week to respond and was out of a washer for almost a month. If you want poor maintenance service, a gated community that is almost never closed, and an office that is unprofessional and unhelpful when it comes to their own policies and procedures; then this is the place for you. Definitely not a 5/5 with a management that has changed more times than years I have lived there. Otherwise good location, that’s why the get 1 star, would have been 0 if it was possible.

First - rents are rising at unnecessary rates WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT! Trash everywhere, kids throwing garbage all over the grounds and in the ponds, raccoons constantly tearing trash apart, crapping in the pool, they should get rid of valet trash and make people take their own! We have to walk ours due to raccoons watching our door, they sit and wait for trash to be put out - yet we still have to pay for valet (rip-off). Maintenance requests don’t get addressed - for months! Lazy groundskeeping - I don’t think he ever leaves his cart! Filthy walkways, breezeways, and sidewalks. Dog crap that doesn’t get picked up, good luck getting reimbursed for damage to your car or tires from all the pot holes that are never truly fixed properly! Gates are always broke, no locks or latches! Parking is nearly impossible unless you have a garage and driveway. Vehicles that don’t move and collect dust with flat tires are an eyesore. For goodness sake change and stock ALL pet waste bins! Only a couple people in the office seem to care about the residents. Corporate is overcharging for absolutely no reason! WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING??? No one likes it here anymore, long-time residents are leaving in droves and they’re losing new ones too after the newbies realize what its really like. I was excited to move here years ago and now I cant afford to leave so I have to put up with it, even though they’re raising rents 200-500 a month at renewal. Don’t fall for it, they lie and make it seem awesome then do NOTHING, its all a facade. Not sure I ever see office people out actually walking around looking at the property and cleaning it up. Get off the golf cart and participate in making this place worth the price you demand, and get the maintenance issues under control! Why are maintenance people smoking on the job/carts just and sitting in the parking lot for extended periods of time? The manager should be more compassionate and friendly, she certainly doesn’t project a welcoming demeanor. Would be nice to feel like we live where tenants are valued and appreciated, especially for putting up with all these disappointing realities.

Rent was somewhat affordable but now they’re deciding to up rent an extra 1,000 dollars. Yacht club used to be an amazing place to live a few years ago when friends and family members of mine lived here but unfortunately they’ve gone down hill. For one, the biggest problem is that THERE ARE ROACHES LIVING IN THE WALLS. i moved in 4 months ago and no matter how much i clean i see about 10 roaches a day even with raid use and roach traps. second of all maintaince is nonexistent. me and my roommates lived with a broken dryer for 3 weeks and our in over 4 maintaince requests and heard nothing. the only way we were able to get someone to come down was when we went to the leasing office and saw the leasing manager getting her amenities fixed right away when she was speaking to maintaince and she noticed us listening. thirdly everything in the apartment is falling apart. maintaince told us are AC had to be replumbed 3 months ago and said they would come within a couple of days… never came back. there is a crack in our sink where are kitchen cabinet is completely rotted and flooded. three of the doors are broken and more. (by the way these are all the problems we’ve had since we moved in). i called three days ago explaining all the issues i’ve had and how tired i am of it and how embarrassed i am to be living in a roach infested broken apartment almost paying 2k and that we needed to be moved into a different unit or needed rent lowered if we can live in a healthy, safe, and functioning apartment and was told they would get back to me. it’s been three days and IVE HEARD NOTHING. save your money and go somewhere else.

The complex is kept clean and the neighborhood is friendly.
I absolutely love living at the Yacht Club. The apartments themselves are gorgeous and spacious inside. The complex is extremely well kept, the landscaping is very beautiful. The pool area is so tropical and relaxing. I've never seen an apartment complex this amazing before. I recommend this place to everyone I know and I plan on living here for a long time.
not only does it feel you are on vacation every day of the week beautiful swimming pool walks around the 2 lakes maintenance team and office team always helpful the apartments are great and surrounding areas always kept clean been here now into our third year convenient to major roads and shopping
We have lived in a 1 bedroom apartment for the last year and we are happy with our choice. We find the office staff to be very friendly and we haven't had any real issues with the administration. In fact, there were a couple of instances where they were very kind and helpful in when we had some accidents in our unit. There are always people who complain, but I'm not sure what they complain about.
This is supposed to be a "luxury apartment community." Many of the amenities give it that feeling, but once you live here, you will see that there is nothing luxurious about this place. First, the buildings are poorly built. Anytime someone walks anywhere, it sounds like an elephant. I live on the first floor and my fixtures shake every time my upstairs neighbor walks around. The doors are built to close by themselves, and everyone just let's them slam, which shakes the entire building. You can also hear people having normal conversations next to you. Trying to sit in a quiet room in your apartment to read or have your child do homework is impossible. The staff is friendly, but they do not enforce their own rules. They seem to be more concerned with being friends with everyone, rather than keeping the rules in check. When me and other tenants I know complain about issues, nothing happens and the issues continue. I have even seen an influx of police visits. Having asked around, I discovered it is due to people trespassing in the pool late at night. Again, more rules being ignored by the staff. This is definitely not a family friendly apartment. If you are 20 something and do not care about loud parties at the pool past dusk, alcohol in the pool around little kids, and a total disregard for the people around you like the 20-something's here, then this is for you. If you are looking for a luxury apartment, this is NOT it. If you have kids and want them to be in a good atmosphere, this is NOT it either. For the high price to live here, it is so not worth it. I can not wait to move out to a cheaper place that actually cares more about families rather than the partying young adults that do not respect anyone.
