Property Ratings at Yorkshire Court
I signed my lease June 1st. My move was super easy and I love my apartment. Management is awesome. I got brand new hardwood floors and new kitchen and bathroom. It's everything I need right now. Can't say enough good things about Terri the Property Manager.
A living nightmare water bugs and mice infested barely heat and neighbors looking into your apartment
This is probably the worst place I have ever lived in. Nobody answers the phone so it's impossible to reach someone for our concerns. There are mice and roaches in the building as well. Someone must have brought the infestation in a year or two ago but it has only gotten worse and we can only do so much to keep everything at a minimum. Management does not care whether your unit has heat and turns it on whenever they feel like doing so. Nonetheless, they don't care about your needs.
I've been calling for days but they don't answer the phone and their voicemail is completely full. Since its impossible to reach a leasing agent I had to leave a poor review. I even left messages on the maintenance and management voicemails, yet I'm here writing a poor review because nobody will respond.
Just moved in, this is my first apartment and I'm so happy. Manager is super easy to work with. I'm 30 minutes closer to work. Living so close to everything is great. My kitchen is updated and big enough for my table & chairs. Moving in I bent my key, Terri the Manager came right over with a new one! So far so good!!!!
Just signed my lease renewal. My first here here was great. I love living in Drexel Hill. Terri the Property Manager is super friendly and very professional. Maintenance is awesome. No problems with bugs. Building is clean! No complaints!
After looking for several months, I cam across Yorkshire Court. I was able to rent one of the 1 bedroom with a dining area right off the kitchen. I've been working from home due to Covid so it was a perfect area for my office. I love being so close to everything. Management is easy to deal with and very attentive.
I applied for a studio apartment and was schedule to see the room but upon arrival and numerous phone calls, the manager did not show up for my schedule tour. I wasted money and time waiting to see this apartment. I called back a few days later and the manager told me that she was sick and unable to inform me, yet I had to call her to get this information. She said she would call back within the hour to reschedule and she did not. I waited a few days to call her once again and she said that the apartment wouldn't be ready until June now. Like I said she wasted my time and money and was very Unprofessional. I had a friend warn me about this apartment complex. My friend said she applied two years ago and they tried to sell her the place without a tour, once she had a tour she said the placed smelled of urine. When I called the women said the place had new management and from the reviews that seemed to be true, but I now believe it's still managed poorly. I saw another review that said the place had a bad mouse and roach infestation. I thought I would see for myself but clearly nothing has changed with this property. Very disappointed.
This building was fine until new management took over. They don’t care whether your unit has heat or running hot water. You can’t control the heat on your own so some days you can walk in and your heat feels like it’s been on alll day; but then turned off at night(when you need it most). And will still charge a late fee, even if your unit doesn’t have heat. There very limited parking. There is also a Paratransit company is in the back of the building, which takes up most of the parking. **Beware there is mice and roaches in this building as well.**
Recently divorced w/disabled daughter who wears braces. Found the right apt. here that we can afford and it's on the first floor! Yeah! Close to public trans & Rite Aid right in our back yard! Just right!
Divorced mom after 30 yrs. marriage w/daughter that has multiple disabilities. Apt. is quiet, on the first floor which is great for her since she wears braces. Utilities are included beside water. Just the right fit for us!
This 1 bedroom apt. is just right for me & my disabled daughter! After being married for over 30 yrs. & now divorced with a disabled 12 yrs. old, this apt. is just right for us. All utilities are included except water, we are on the first floor, which is great for her & it's in a quiet neighborhood. Transportation is within walking distance, so you can get anywhere in the tri-state area! Shopping malls only mins away. Laundry room in bldg. & pest free! Maintenance of bldg. is kept up, & request for personal maintenance handled asap. Like I said, this bldg.. is Just Right!!
